Cons: After returning the car in the exact same condition we received the car, we were accused of producing new scratches on the vehicle despite them clearly being marked up on the sheet from the original rental agreement. We were given a bill of 360 euros for the damage which we originally refused to pay and called the police. On doing so I was screamed at by the manager, called 'a fucking bastard', given death threats, told they would withhold my entire deposit and charge me thousands extra.

Pros: Efficient. No Fiat 500, and it should not promise that car if its never gonna be an option!

Cons: It was a nightmare to pick up the car !!! Ruined the start of the holidays :( We took the full insurance via 'Discovercarehire'. Goldcar forced us to make a deposit of 1.234 euro. They told us we had to pay 250 euro for each scratch on the car. Then they wanted to give up an old car full of scratches !!! End up paying there insurance again.... Hate the company !!! Any way to get the money from the insurance back ? Now we had to pay it twice???
Cons: My plane was late and despite I had paid the 1st day of rental. While it is a contract clause, I was misconducted with no comprehension nor any attempt to find a alternate solution for me.
Pros: Nothing. They absolute crooks.
Cons: They are absolute crooks. You are dealing with an absolute bunch of crooks at Goldcar. They threatened me and my family with physical violence and extorted €350 out of me claiming damage to their car. They could not prove any proof of damage and virtually held us hostage refusing to let us leave. They said that would make sure we missed flights and also said that they are charging an extra €100 for arguing with them. The manager was an absolute lunatic threatened not only me but my wife & son.

Cons: Goldcar shouldn't be dealing with good people! They are thieves and invented non-existent damages to take money from my card..they are still now taking money..went to police.
Cons: Worst car hire I've ever experienced. Was robbed by the staff who dents the cars underneath so customer who reject to pay for extra expensive cover can't see it on the collection and then is blame for it as a new damage. If someone read the customer satisfaction survey please contact me immediately as I have evidence of how staff in Rhodes Goldcar car hire is cheating and robbing customers...
