Nu Car Rentals service is provided in cooperation with Viaggiare Rent at Alghero Airport. Upon arrival please call for shuttle at 0039 3486274297. We are opposite the airport at 1km. Our address is Provincial Road 44 KM 4.5 in front of Airport Fertilia. We will meet you outside the Arrivals exit. If needed After Hours service is available with a fee of 50EUR or if more than 2 hours after closing the fee is 90EUR. We hold vehicles up to 2 hours after the arrival time on your reservation during operating hours.

Pros: Nice car but very disconcerting to see every single stone chip and scuff being monitored. I have never seen such a focus on trying to find an issue with damage to a rental. I have always used mainstream companies up to this point (hertz, Avis etc) and have never witnessed anything like this before.

Pros: First of all they were about to rip us off.. with money, with type of car, with cleaness, babychair... they charged us 280€ just because my wife had the creditcard and we payed with that. I only had debit card. Second they gave us a much worse and old car for 600€/week!!! Dirty and not full!! But we had to bring it back full and clean! Otherwise 50€ penalty. Babychair 65€/week- it was not isofix compatible and dirty like shitttt.. They are rubbers. Staff and manager are extremely rude!

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, First additional driver, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Airport surcharge, Tire & Glass Coverage, Third Party Liability, Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), Public Liability Insurance (PLI), Premium location fee, Road tax, Vehicle registration fee, VAT (value added tax).
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 85 years.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 76.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Young drivers under the age of 21 who wish to rent a vehicle must purchase the following insurance type(s): Super Insurance.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, ID card, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.

American Express, Cash, Cheques, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services

Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Underage additional drivers are also subject to a young driver fee.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
