Cons: Emmanuela pushed an “upgrade” even after I said I didn’t want a big car-I don’t feel safe driving them and they’re hard to handle in narrow streets and parking.She reassured it was only slightly bigger, so I trusted her.The car was actually a large SUV (MG‑HS).I went back immediately; she said no smaller cars were available.I asked for help checking other branches,but I was told to do it myself.So I asked to add my friend as a driver since she’s used to big cars,but they would charge €108 extra

Pros: nothing to like, a dishonest company

Cons: I didn't get any service because of a quirky requirement to have your MIDDLE name stated fully on your credit card. Without it they just won't give you the car. I don't know ANY credit card company that does that, so if you have a middle name you just won't get a car. Are they discriminating against people with middle names? Or is this requirement there only to have a reason not to give a car while taking your money? It looks like this company core business model is not to deliver any service.

Cons: When we dropped off the car, the agent (a young woman) accused us of having changed the two front tires after using the inflatable kit. She demanded that we pay for a new kit and new tires. Absolutely not. She accused us and treated us like liars. After nearly 20 minutes of shouting and arguing, she suddenly admitted that the issue had occurred before our rental. This was no mistake—they were simply trying to trick us. All of this happened while the car had already been taken away for washing. I

Pros: operations was fast

Cons: I had to buy an additional inssurance besides the one from the app, they gave me another car, much bigger than the one requested, checkout was done without me and they found a scratch, altough I was super carefull, but in my absence and lack of a thourough scratch analysis before I took the car they can find anything. All in all, car rental in italy sucks and I felt robbed. I actually paid on the car almost 1000€ for a week.. also the blocked insurance money are still blocked.

Pros: Simple process. Agent was very helpful, especially in sourcing the car seat which we had preordered

Cons: We had prearranged a car seat however these are on an availability basis. If your agent is not very helpful (luckily ours was) we would have had to drive with a child illegally in the country for lack of options.

Cons: Attitude of representatives. Dirty car. Not as big as it should have been. Damage but not noted on rental agreement. Not interested to see damage (just take photos) even though Ecovia representative was stood 3 metres from the car. Told it was full of petrol and should be taken back full, but it only had 70% of a tank when I got in to drive it.

Cons: Car was excellent and staff were friendly. Only two points deducted. One for the long checking in process and one for walking to the car and finding our car wasn't where they said it would be. Had to walk back and tell them. Eventually found it in an entirely different car park

Cons: I had to ask after 6 days the refund of the deposit, when they said I would have get it back in few hours, after I called them ,I've sent an email to then and they sent back the money in less than 1 hour

Pros: Perfect rental conditions, I had a free upgrade the selected car was not available. It was not clean at pickup but not in a bad condition so it was manageable.

Pros: I managed to negotiate with the ecovia representative after they didn't have the car i made reservation for and it worked out ok.

Cons: They copied my credit card front and back ( he took my card number and CVV ) so i just had to close my card after the experience. What do you guys do after another person copies your credit card ?!

Cons: We were told the car had to be clean so we got it washed and worried about the interior being a bit dusty. We felt we were doing the company’s job valeting the car for the next customer. Otherwise all good.

Pros: Staff was very friendly! He could speak Italian, English & Spanish which was amazing! He also recommended us a place where to hoover the car nearby the airport. Car was excellent and had no issues! Also we read a couple of reviews mentioning this so people please bring the card that you used to book the car and also a credit card.

Cons: You really need to explain where exactly your office is in Olbia to clients. We nearly lost our flight in trying to locate it despite the extremely helpful agent who came to look for us. I can't stress enough that the GPS and the address given over the phone is no help when on-site and in the car...

Pros: I know the car was old but it was in good condition, the A/C worked well.

Cons: An official document in the glove compartment, I believe it was related to road tax, was out of date. The Ecovia agent said it was okay but I did not accept this (previous experience in Italy) and I asked that it be resolved. In the end, he updated the document and I was thankful for this. Ecovia should put systems in place to know when to update local law documents so that the customer's time is not wasted.

Pros: The person took 1 hour with 5 people in front of me when we arrived! There was only one person and it took him 15 minutes per person.

Cons: Did not like that he could not accept my USA driver’s license. I have never ever heard of such a situation and have rented several cars in my lifetime. He also took way too long to process all of the people.
