Cons: Contrary to the information from discovercars.com, my debit card was refused and I had to use a credit card with high currency exchange fee. The customer rep refused my Revolut debit card, claiming that Revolut is not a bank, whereas In EU it is actually Revolut Bank UAB, a bank established in the Republic of Lithuania authorised and regulated by the Bank of Lithuania and the European Central Bank.

Pros: Our rental was probably the best we have ever had. We get the better kategory of the car for free because the lady on the desk did not have our mini category available for us. Car was 1 year old and was in great condition. Personal on pick up and drop off was friendy and effective. I highly recomend this rental company.

Cons: We were charged by Maggiore an extra full day of rental because we were 37 minutes late in returning the car. In the invoice for the additional day, the pick-up time was incorrectly stated. We picked up the car at 10:53 AM (as clearly specified in the Vehicle Condition Report), not at 10:35 AM as mentioned in the final invoice. I consider this to be an abuse, and my rating reflects this situation.

Pros: The car was new... desk office easy to find.

Cons: I have made the car reservation online at `Discover cars` and paid full insurance. At the rental office of Maggiore -the desk office person explained and shown me that actually is covered only 1000 Eur damages and it is my option if I want to buy an extra insurance or go just for that basic insurance. I paid again a full insurance... In the end instead of 384.98 Eur I paid 715,70 Eur. I didn´t received back the 110 Eur for full tank, nor explanations or receipts for payments!

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1300.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Free modifications.
Mileage policy
For rentals of 1–27 days, mileage is unlimited.
For rentals of 28 days or more, mileage is limited to 4500 km per rental.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.

A digital driver's license will not be accepted — you must bring your physical driving license.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy

Deductible/excess will be charged per damage.
If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Ski rack, Snow chains, Winter tires, then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.

Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office. In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request. Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 28 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 120 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
