K10 Mobility at Ibiza Airport

Pros: Avoid avoid

Cons: Very unprofessional and unpleasant service. Overcharged since first day . Car was old and dirty with half tank petrol but charging full . Also , after we left Ibiza , they charged us extra £100 for cleaning the car after. Lies lies lies . Avoid this company

Pros: Car was ok on collection but not brilliantly cleaned, inside and out. On return they charged for the smallest nick on the bumper, that was most likely already there and most would class as wear and tear. Getting to the rental was a bit of a faff.

Cons: Service was horrendous. Manager was aggressive, threatening and rude. As a sole female I felt scared. Would strongly advise against using K10 in Ibiza.

Cons: they are as theft, they ask for a insurance coverage kask but when returning the car they found a little damage (already existing, not my fault) under the car and this part was the only not covered by the insurance anf they asked me some 85 euros further

Pros: We had a shuttle bus pick up which was fine but when we arrived at K10 there was a big queue and only one small cabin which you could only enter when it was your turn so we were all waiting in the searing heat outside. Then we had to enter our own details on our phones and scan the ar codes, enter passport details and driving licence details etc to supposedly speed up the process once inside! It took about an hour ! Other companies that discover cars do are much better and faster ie record go.

Cons: I would NOT use K10 again. They told us the car just had a couple of marks on it but it was completely scratched all around the car and had sweat stains all over the seats and no spare tyre either.

Cons: Staff were unpolite. Our flight arrived with some delay and we were asked to pay 30 euro extra since we picked the car late. However they did not count our long waiting (40 min) under the sun to pick up the car

Pros: Just drop off service is ok. I think they should changed the main manager in pick up service. She is unhelpful and rude. And they try to give you car with scratches and damages and without any information about this in contract. They also gave us car without fuel - we just left the rent parking and the sign of empty fuel appears. Awful service

Cons: Awful pickup service especially supervisor (the main manager) she is totally no customer focus. We were in pickup service for 1h30m (and there were only 4 of us, who arrived together and want to rent a car). Managers are so so slow, they register a car for one person about 40 minutes-1 hour. For us they gave us broken car after more than 1 hour of waiting, we ask to change the car and they gave us dirty car without fuel and it was damaged from all sides (no information about damages in contract)

Pros: First they let us wait for over half an hour at pick-up place (not because they were busy, but because the driver had his lunch). The first car was only insured until 31-10, so they had to bring another halfway through the week. The day this needed to happen, it was very unclear when / how / where, until they called us late evening where I was, as the car was end of rental. I explained that they would exchange the car with another, at our terms (whenever en where ever we were on the day).

Cons: I even contacted K10 office in the morning of the exchange, where they confirmed this was normal business to them to exchange a car like this. Then they brought us a much smaller car then the Jeep Renegade we had. This was very inconvenient for us. They solved, after complaints, by switching to another car. I don’t think a have ever worried that much about a rental car before. So K10 was not ea good morning experience this time around. Last time it was also dubious. So no K10 for us anymore.

Pros: Op mail stond een deposit te betalen van 1200€, bij aankomst vroegen ze een deposit van 1400€, waardoor mijn visa niet toereikend was (schone truk natuurlijk) en om een lang verhaal kort te maken was de enige optie volgens hun een extra verzekering te betalen, zodat we maar 200€ deposit moeten betalen, voel me misbruikt!

Pros: When there were additional charges attempted by K10 that were not on booking and these were challenged staff were v professional in dealing with this and customer was not charged the additional €225 key and fuel deposit.

Cons: Spent ages waiting for the shuttle service from the airport. Then waited over an hour to speak to someone at the rental place about picking the car up. I was then charged for an additional insurance because they wouldnt accept the credit card I brought. I brought a physical Amex card but also had a Mastercard credit card on my Apple pay / all the card details for it.

Pros: Efficient service

Cons: Cost of insurance 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Pros: The car was new and perfect. The drop-off was fast, friendly and well organized.

Cons: The car pick-up was slow, complex and had a long wait. There was a lot of fuzz about additional coverages that I did not want and need.

Pros: Cheap efficient service, staff very friendly.

Cons: Car was very heavily dented and scratched, make sure you do a walk round video when you pick the vehicle up! The instructions on how to find the car rental place were horrendous, we were going round in circles for nearly an hour until we found someone that had just dropped there’s off and told us where to go. Deposit of £1400 is a bit steep but this did go back in 3 days after drop off.

Cons: It took almost 2 hours to pickup the car. Way after the selected pick up time.

Pros: Fabulous service and they had the best prices so it was an easy choice to rent with K10

Cons: Payment of €40,- extra for pickup time. No good information where pick-up is located. Trying more than 10x to call no-one pick up the phone, after what app messages and almost 1.45 looking for the pickup place. Finely found the location on a totally different place.

Cons: sigo en espera de mi reembolso del deposito, no me gusto que lo hacen obligatorio el tener que pagar nuevamente un seguro que ya se pago por medio de la app mas aparte tener que dejar un deposito, a comparacion con la competencia, se da a elegir entre pagar el seguro o dejar un deposito, no tuvieron que ser ambos.

Cons: I had to make a report of all the extra damage I noticed at pickup. On drop off there is no written confirmation. Just a girl says ‘ok’ and that is all you get!

Pros: Efficient pick up and drop off once we’d got to the rental office

Cons: A bit of a wait for the minibus at the airport pick-up point. Our excess was increased from €1800 to €2000 - to cover for fuel etc if we weren’t able to return it with same amount of fuel in tank. Also, extra €20 paid to cover cost if it was necessary to call out a recovery truck, which given the state of the road to our villa might have been worthwhile. Would have been useful to have these extras detailed upfront.

Pros: Very convenient location, cars were good and a reasonable hire price.

Cons: It was disappointing that I had booked a 9 seater van and was told upon arrival that this was not available so was offered 2 cars instead. Whilst this was offered for the same price I spent a lot of additional time having to sort out admin and paperwork at pickup. In addition, there was no water in the car washers which I thought would be a basic check before client’s pick up their cars.

Cons: Had to wait a long time as people before me seemed to be having problems with collecting their car hire. We were told the insurance we took with you would cause a lot of problems if we had a claim as the car was K10 property not yours & we were only covered up to amount shown on your agreement. We would have to pay K10for any damage incurred, then claim back from you. After much dissatisfaction we were “frightened” into taking out another insurance with them. Our worst experience hiring a car!!

Cons: The gas tank was not full when we received the car. The child seat we received was soaking wet. And the discount we were supposed because of the wet child seat to get was not received.

Cons: I was charged €300 more on arrival because the debit card couldn't be charged for the deposit. Although I paid for full insurance with Discover cars, I was now charged for an insurance with K10 directly. Certainly left a bitter aftertaste before the holiday started. I was not the only one at that time, be aware!

It seemed that most staff were slow to process customers, there was one exception to this, the rep we were processed by, processed 3 customers whilst the other two were still on the first customer. We requested automatic, but only manuals were available.

There was nothing we could do as this happened the day of the pick up. The staff did not collaborate and their answer was simply "you should read the terms & conditions". I wouldn't use nor recommend K10 ever again

Cons: Price given was 150 euros higher than quoted by Discover Cars. Car had not been cleaned.

Cons: The agent tried overcharging our card (more than the amount stated in the confirmation email) which resulted in the transaction getting declined and got my credit card blocked. Ended up paying a non-refundable 90€ to pay a lower deposit of 250€ by debit card (was happy to pay the 1500€ on debit card but the agent was adamant this should be paid via a credit card)

Cons: When we arrived at the K10 desk there were only two representatives present at the desks. Both were dealing with customers already. The process to pick up the car was long and laborious. In total it took over an hour between us arriving at the K10 site and leaving with our cars. After we left there was a considerably queue of new customers, I can imagine they were probably there for several hours.

Cons: They are Thieves, Tried to Rip me off by making false claims. Had I not taken pictures of the car in advance they would make me pay 350 Euros for a small chip on the bumper that is a 10 euro fix and that was already on the car when I received it. There were 3 other families returning their cars are the same time and all of them felt the same way about this company.

Cons: The condition of the car wasn't good. The car indicated that I should check the tyre pressure. I did, but the pressure was okay. The last few days the car indicated that I should check the oil level. And furthermore, the windscreen wiper fluid was empty. When you hire a car, you expect that these kind of checks are not necessary because the car should be in a good condition.

Pros: The car was fine and what I expected and the drop-off was smooth and fast, the woman who handle the process was very efficient and kind.

Cons: The desk employee who was making the check-in process to give me the car was very inappropriate, flirting, hitting on me, making jokes, not answering my questions clearly, and trying to be funny instead, and trying to get my number (which I made clear he couldn't use it from my file). I got really confused, frustrated and eventually angry during the whole process.

Cons: At the end of the day all was good I had read revues prior to going to Ibiza and admit I was a little nervous. This was compounded when I found damage to car that wasn’t on paperwork and the rep told us to take photographs and wouldn’t up date paperwork. Glad to say there was no problem when taking the car back.

Cons: I left the car FOUR DAYS AGO and nobody told me anything about it. Like “Here’s your receipt” or something. My deposit is still on hold and I don’t know anything. Also when you leave the car before business opening THERE IS NO WAY OUT OF THE PARKING LOT. Me and another french woman couldn’t find the code inside the park!!!! She was stuck inside when I arrived and then I asked her to wait for me to get out!!! SHE HAS A PLANE TO CATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😰 it was stressful.

Pros: It took 1,5 hours to pick up my car, I had to pay a 40,- supplement for an evening drop off and it took forever.

Cons: The windshield whipe fluid was empty - not handy on a dusty island. At the time of the drop off the office and car park were closed. I could not drop off the car, I had a 9:00 flight and had scheduled to drop off the car early in de morning. By chance another customer was also dropping off her car- and hse had received a code to open the gate - I had not received this- and dropping off the car was very stressfull. I will never book with K10 ever again, it took a lot of my time & extra cost.
