Pick-up instructions
Customers can arrive at either Terminal 2 or Terminal 3. Customers have to follow the indications to the luggage reclaim belts and once they have arrived to the floor where the belts are located, they should go down to the floor -1 (without leaving the building) by using the lifts or the escalator. They will have to go to the rent a car area and they will find our office there. The "Express collection service" allows the formalization of the contract and collection of the vehicle directly in the parking area of the airport, without going through the open office in the terminal, by paying an extra charge.

Cons: I paid for insurance then was forced to pay for insurance again at the desk because visa debit or master debit cards were not accepted for the deposit. The insurance i was forced to pay cost more than the online rental price. Airport costs of Euro 38 was charged (40% of online rental price) which was not included in the online agreement.

Cons: The interrent rental agency stuff are cheaters, they told you that you are paying deposit which is finally insurance and this is not paying back to you. Stuff does not communicate in English and papers are printed in Spanish. Strongly it was my last booking with discover the cars.

Pros: Pick up not good ...made us queue twice , as we didn't see the ticket machine as its moved at Malaga to the Key and go queue. We were not the only ones who didn't see it ! Women made us go back and re do everything ! We left home at 2.30 in morning from isle of wight , ferry , taxi to airport , fly to Malaga so had been travelling for 17 hours so very tired so did not appreciate having to wait queue for half an hour twice ! Women also tried to tell us that we did not have the proper insurance .

Cons: Drop off of car in Car park office was EXCELLENT , fuel gauge had broken , all sorted VERY efficency and Certius, good English , nice man . WELL DONE ,

Pros: On 13/11 2021 I rented a car (1828LPN) from Discovercars via Interrent via Goldcar at Malaga Airport. It was delivered back yesterday, 27/10 2021 at the airport in Malaga WITH A FULL TANK WITHOUT DAMAGES! Then I get a noreply email from interrent about lack of petrol filling and damage on the left side behind. I filled the full tank 26/10 (60.84 €) but on the way to the airport I saw that the fuel gauge was not fully up. Therefore stopped just before airport 27/10 and refilled 3.3 liters (5.28

Cons: However, the fuel gauge did not change. But the tank was completely full! It is also alleged that there was a new injury (in addition to the two that were there when I got the car). However, the attached video that I took after parking at the airport shows NO DAMAGE! This is a fraud attempt and should be reported to the police. I strongly protest against such treatment! Cons: Interrent were deceitful. 1. When picking up the car, It was in a dark area of the multistorey car park where it was difficult to examine the car. 2. When we returned the car, the examiner went around the car. He took one picture of the front of the car. He came over to me and asked for a signature. I asked if everything is OK and he said it was perfect. I signed. I then received a bill for 95€ for a dent and there was a picture attached to the email along with the one took while I was there!!!

Pros: Absolute scam. It’s Goldcar is disguise. They rinse at every opportunity, insurance that exceeds the costs of complete hire places at the conpanies, take money off you for petrol even though you leave the tank full. My advice is stick with a reputable company like Eurocar or Hertz. If it looks to good to be true it probably is.

Pros: Nothing. Abosolutley nothing. You need to drop these as a company you offer.

Cons: I waited for 1hour and still did not have a car. I left and used a different car hire company off airport. Interrent were telling customers they did not have a car for an hour and to come back. They also sent 1 customer to go and find his own car. He had to keep pressing the button to see which car unlocked. Worst experience ever and even worse staff. I will NEVER use this company again.

Pros: The car condition was excellent and the price great.

Cons: they were actually trying very hard to make me purchase an extra insurance that they were offering. I always expect that, but this time they went to the level of telling me lies in order to scare me and make me buy it. The agent said that I would be responsible for the whole value of the car in case of anything happening and did not recognise the collision damage waiver value that was on the contract. This was a complete lie as in Europe it is illegal to NOT have a CDW!

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1100.00), Theft Protection, Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), Airport surcharge, State Tax, Environmental Contribution fee.
Rate excludes
The Airport Surcharge applies in all airport locations.
The following surcharges may apply: Carbon Emissions Fee.
Mileage policy
Mileage is limited in Madrid, Barcelona, Torrevieja, Denia, Benidorm.
For rentals lasting 1 to 3 days, mileage is limited to 350 km per day.
For rentals lasting 4 to 6 days, mileage is limited to 250 km per day.
For rentals lasting 7 to 14 days, mileage is limited to 150 km per day.
For rentals of 15 days or more, mileage is limited to 100 km per day. There will be a surcharge for each additional 1km. Details are available at the car rental company's reservation office.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee of 44.52 EUR per rental applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A novice driver fee will apply to drivers who have held their driver license for less than 4 years.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
The deposit amount will be held on the customer's credit card without a deductible/excess.
A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon collecting the vehicle.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.

If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.
All credit cards must be capable of the following: CHIP verification, PIN verification, Embossed; cards without this capability will not be accepted. The daily limit on the card used for payment must be high enough to cover the deposit. Otherwise, purchase of the following insurance policy(ies): Super Relax Cover is mandatory.
The main driver's full first and last name must be on the credit card without abbreviations.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Geographical restrictions
Domestic one-way rentals are possible on request and for an additional charge.
One-way rentals are not possible between islands.

International one-way rentals are allowed when requested in advance and for an additional charge, the amount of which varies according to the location.

Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
For more details about permitted destination locations, please contact the Customer service department. Information on the exact fee amount is available by request.

Driving vehicles to Ceuta, Melilla is not allowed. In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Outside of business hours, Young driver fee.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Optional extras are subject to the following additional charge(s): Premium Location surcharge, Airport Surcharge.

Delivery/collection service is not provided.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon pick up.
Diesel vehicles are available for an additional charge.
Additional information
All refunds (unused fuel, deposit, etc.) are made in EUR even if the customer was originally charged in a different currency when picking up the vehicle.
The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.
An administrative fee of 45 EUR will be charged for each request received from the traffic police.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 28 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
If the customer is late for a return for more than 59 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges.
