Pros: Nothing!

Cons: Did not like anything!!

Pros: Easy collection and drop off

Cons: No directions given to collection point

Pros: Nothing, it was complete disaster and scam

Cons: I strongly advise against using the local car rental provider Get Your Car in Cyprus (who share an office and staff with Sixt). My experience was a textbook example of financial extortion and putting customers' lives at risk. I pre-paid for a CLAR class (Compact Elite, example model: Ford Focus premium) with full insurance (totaling €254.32). I arrived at the office at 22:00. After waiting in a long queue, at around 23:30, they handed me a Nissan Note (Economy/Mini MPV, and they sneakily wrote

Pros: Discoer cars and Get Your Car usually offer the best value for money

Pros: Great service throughout the experience

Cons: Nothing really

Pros: We liked the car

Cons: After a long journey with 2 young children we found the car rental sixth. We told them our booking reference and from then on We felt pressurised into upgrading our car and insurance. Which we was not needed so we declined. Within our online booking it said that extra drivers could be added at no extra cost. I showed them the booking and the agent said she would show her supervisor. He then stormed over and said we had to pay as it’s their policy. I feel they took advantage of our situation.

Pros: Airport proximity

Pros: I'm quite happy with a car that has a few knocks.

Cons: The clutch was going and should have been repaired before the hire

Pros: Terrible. Car broke down and I was expected to return it to the airport ! I didn’t get a refund for the days I wasn’t able to use the car. Awful service would never use again and would not recommend.

Cons: Nothing. Staff were rude and dismissive.

Cons: the car was a little scratched

Pros: I hired a car for 28 days and a warning light came on after two weeks. I returned the car and was given another one straight away.

Pros: Helpful and really courteous.

Pros: Car was in great condition, clean. Staff was very helpfull.

Pros: Everything was smooth

Cons: Everything was smooth, the woman which formed all documentation on arrival was bit rude and edgy but beside that everything went well, if I remember right it was worker of car provider Sixth

Pros: Very helpful

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Price per value

Cons: The color of the car roof lol

Pros: Clear process. Friendly staff, always prefer in terminal collection.

Cons: The wait at pick up, after a long flight was frustrating.

Pros: Friendly

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Very well services

Pros: Easy to find. Pick up and drop off were easy and fast.

Cons: Agent tries hard to convince you to upgrade and sell you the full coverage. The car was quite new but did not have a reverse camera - only sensors - even my 2013 car has one...

Pros: Friendly.

Cons: Tried to upgrade to a better car at an extra cost. Tried to sell me full to empty tank of fuel.

Pros: On location, the lady was friendly.

Cons: She tried to 'upsell', but we didn't upgrade. She wasn't too pushy, but we just wanted the car we ordered in advance. We didn't get the car advertised (Ford Focus), but a 'comparable' Skoda Scala.

Pros: Pleasant staff

Pros: Fast and friendly staff

Cons: No complaints

Pros: Excellent throughout

Pros: Sixt cars one the best ,,, the desk right outside arrivals and 1 minute walk to the actual pick up point .

Pros: It was very efficient. I made sure though to have l my paperwork printed cause it was through an agency of SixT and they aren't always aware of all that is offered, like the free extra driver. The car they gave me was immaculate and extremely fuel efficient - was a hybrid

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Fast service, nice and polite employees :)

Cons: Friendly and efficient

Pros: The agent at the desk was very helpful, and friendly.

Cons: The paperwork did not say that you were part of Sixt rental. So had to ask where the desk was. The agent was non communicative and unfriendly when we dropped the car back.

Pros: Clear and concise

Cons: trying to sell you more eg better car, insurance

Pros: The rental was smooth from start to finish. Easy to find and staff very helpful. The car bodywork was a bit untidy but very clean and good value for money.

Pros: Friendly reliable service

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Quick and easy process with email of vehicle condition

Cons: Very small company logo on the booking voucher and also at the kiosk fir sixt.

Pros: The guys are very friendly and helpful

Cons: They take E1000 on credit card if you hire for more than 20 odd days rather than simply blocking the money. Always returned promptly though

Pros: Very helpful agent explained the options. Great customer service

Pros: Great service from everyone involved

Cons: The car was getting a bit old and tired at 10 years old.

Pros: Very quick and easy to find car.

Cons: Nothing.

Cons: Changed car due to headlight. Replacement car - air-conditioning not working. Third car ok but clutch almost out. Therefore difficult to drive. When we dropped it off and mentioned it they confirmed that they knew!

Pros: Good choice of cars to choose from

Cons: Would like to see more free extra drivers

Cons: as I wrote above

Pros: Speedy service

Cons: Car was old, air conditioning failed

Pros: I got my vehicle from Sixt company and the person at the desk was very helpful and kind, giving me also an upgrade.

Pros: Seamless

Cons: Pick up would have benefited from more desk agents, as there was quite a queue

Cons: Despite around only 70k on the clock, the car was pretty battered with a damaged steering wheel and dashboard lights and buttons broken

Pros: Everything! Rental was with Sixt but got a much cheaper deal.

Pros: Fast, made easy

Cons: Picked up from sixt counter, bit confusing on arrival

Pros: That it was sixt who I have had cars from in the past

Cons: The car was not what I paid for. Advertised a car that is not available, not big enough, poor condition, booked manual only had auto

Cons: On the last day the car had a fault that it could not reverse. We were lucky that it happened exactly when we arrived at the drop off.

Pros: Nothing I didn’t take my car unfortunately I have a problem at the desk rental car. And I’m looking for answers at discover car and I didn’t get an answer

Pros: Great price. It was an older model, but that was reflected in the cost. Easy to collect the car and the staff were friendly helpful

Cons: N/a

Cons: Drop off not good. Barrier at airport would not let you back in because car is not registered with airport. Delayed by 15 minutes.

Pros: Desk was right opposite arrivals, agent was very helpful and suggested I upgrade due to size of my baggage. Process was quick and easy and the car was brand new, lovely to drive and spotless. Drop off took minutes and agent confirmed deposit will be returned within days. Would definitely use again.

Pros: Fast easy pick up

Cons: Good service

Pros: I did not hire from Get Your Car I hired from Sixt unexpectedly

Pros: Suspension issues

Cons: Ordered a Ford Focus (or equivalent) offered a Nissan Note, not even similar in size, have to pay upgrade to get a car still not big enough for our needs, car still needed to be changed after 3 days due to fault (which was sorted quickly)

Pros: It all went according to plan

Pros: As above polite and efficient

Cons: Very disappointed by the airport registration staff member he was polite, but having told him I purchased the additional insurance protection he immediately came across extremely negative by saying I should double up on the insurance and purchase theirs ? Asking Why ? His reply was although your fully covered if by chance their is damage to the car it becomes more difficult to claim back the insurance protection complicated and you would be better buying ours. This is just wrong and misleading.

Cons: I got confronted with limitations around cross border insurance, and at that point there was no alternative.

Pros: Well, cad was almost mew. Only 17k km mileage but the car gave strange vibration after 100kmp. Rest was ok.

Cons: Car bluetooth was named “mypenis” and that showed up on the car screen which made a uncomfortable an bad situation with kids, complaint will follow

Pros: As above

Cons: Car outside could have been cleaner

Pros: Excellent service

Pros: Easiness

Cons: Nothing

Pros: The initial pick up was efficient and the car was in reasonable condition. ....I took photos of several areas of superficial damage at the time of pick up

Cons: When dropping off the vehicle, the operative seemed happy that the car was returned in the same condition and certainly didn't point out any "damage" but I then received a damage claim with 2 photos- the first photo is clearly NOT of the car we returned as the luggage in the photo is not ours AND the second photo is of paint damage that was pre-existing when we picked up the vehicle. Thankfully I have a clear photo of this pre existing damage which had been sent to Sixt.

Pros: I used SIXT at the Paphos airport who were brilliant once they explained that DISCOVERY CArs are only an online agent and do not even have a presence in Paphos. So confusing & costly.

Pros: Quick efficient pleasant staff main benefit the car presentation good sound vehicle automatic easy to drive.

Cons: The insurance arrangements upgrade deposit far to high and to lose all the £800 should a unforseen small dint occurred is extremely unfair and questionable. Equally the costs to upgrade a trap and grossly over expensive.

Pros: Helpful and kind staff.

Pros: 👍

Cons: 👍

Pros: Fast and easy

Pros: Price and ease of booking

Cons: Car could have been cleaner

Pros: They are open 24/7 which is very convenient. easy to find and nice staff.

Pros: The 3rd party supplier Sixth is professional and the person was very helpful.

Cons: The petrol was not full and before I could comment. The car was changed and they really wanted to impress.

Pros: Great service and team

Cons: New rule meant that for all car hire over 24 days they take E1000 from credit card rather than just a hold. That meant paying upfront with currency conversion costs before getting money back with further conversion cost

Cons: I was not shown the report of the condition of the car on return. I was presented with a screen to sign without being advised of any issues. When I received the report the pictures were of a different car, in a different parking slot, under artificial lighting. I returned the car (undamaged) in broad daylight. I was cheated

Cons: They use the "Deceptive and aggressive business conduct" model. Their agent fooled me with lies that something was free of charge, and then charged me for that. They refuse to give me my money back, advising me to be more careful about what I'm signing. At least they have a sense for black humor. Also, car was not equipped with a first aid kit which was explained as "The policy of the company", but policy is not above the law of Cyprus. So, never again with Sixt / Get Your Car / Flizzr

Pros: Friendly staff, asked if we wanted insurance, but no hard sell. Car was on site so we could walk to it. No shuttle bus needed. Great price. This company is part of Sixt so you go to that desk at the airport. Easy pick up and drop off. Car was absolutely fine. No problems whatsoever, would recommend.

Pros: Great price and choice of vehicles. Also we did have an incident whilst on holiday with a 'hit & run' accident that left our rental damaged. Fortunately we did take out the Full Coverage insurance and Discover Cars have been great in handling the claim.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Very helpful even after their flight was delayed till after midnight.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Prompt and detailed information about the renting and in case of emergency situations.

Cons: Many of the cosmetic failure was on the car. I did nit get what I have ordered. I have modified before traveling at least two weaks the arrival time (less by 24 hours) but one day renting fee was not compensated by the car provider. Price of the renting only informative, more obligatory (hidden) fee was added. Finally the total renting cost 1,5 times higher.

Pros: Ease of pick up and drop off

Cons: Pressure selling after long flight for extras. Little bits not right with car... parcel shelf ties missing, annoying when trying to put cases in the boot. Drivers side door dropped slightly. But otherwise all good 👍

Pros: Fast and convenient. No hidden fees or trying to up sale. Upgraded for free.

Cons: Easy pick up and drop off. Received a better car than the one ordered.

Pros: The office is located inside the airport which saves you a lot of time and stress. The car was perfect for us, a few scratches and the windows could have been cleaner, but spacious, powerful and very comfortable. With a full tank too which is nice. Staff friendly and professional.

Pros: Quick and helpful

Cons: Was hard 2 find the sign at airport as went straight passed it with out realising - then waited over an hour in a queue to give details to agent to then go and find the car

Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly

Pros: Fast

Cons: Value for money was ok

Pros: Always efficient

Pros: it's sixt that is using this label as a mask

Cons: full to full policy is very strict, same to same is better

Pros: Brilliant, have used before and will continue to do so

Cons: Nothing complain about

Pros: Very old and used car ( > 25k km)

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: Tried to sell additional services/options.

Pros: price, keeping the promise and being flexible when the airline delayed my landing for 10 hrs

Pros: Easy pick up and drop off.

Cons: The upselling at the front desk is annoying. Car was also far from perfect. Came with a broken headlight, which should have been noticed.

Pros: Easy to collect even at 2 an

Cons: Should be a bigger get your car sign at sixt

Pros: The booking was pretty good.

Cons: The rushed approach of accepting the car.

Pros: It took over an hour to get the first car having been "upsold". First car had no fuel so a new set of paperwork and finally got car. That lasted less than a week - engine warning light, so back to Sixt for a replacement. More time wasted. On last day the current car ran up EPC warning light. Pulled, turned off ignition and waited a while. Restarted and light has disappeared. Let's hope it stays off long enough to return.

Cons: See above. Won't be wanting to use Sixt again, that's for sure.

Pros: We arrived at 1:00am but the staff were all bright and cheerful as well as helpful.

Cons: No complaints. The car has seen better days but at these prices it's expected.

Cons: Trying to sell a full tank of fuel as being a cheap option when nearly no-one would ever use a full tank of fuel in Cyprus as the island is too small for it.

Cons: We paid extra for a GPS system but never worked so I am looking for a refund from Sixth.

Pros: price and car

Cons: nothing

Cons: Hard selling to upgrade.

Pros: All very smooth

Cons: Car was a bit tired but no issues mechanically

Cons: The oil light would flash on and stay on sporadically, the key would not unlock/lock the car, and there was a scraping metal sound which happened on 70% of occasions (noise was coming from the drivers side front wheel)

Pros: Only negative wasn't clearly marked it was Discover Cars

Cons: As above

Pros: You offered a fully inclusive service

Cons: The hire company Sixt tried to get another 150 Euros from me to take their insurance, even though I had booked your full cover insurance!

Pros: Friendly and personable

Cons: Nothing

Cons: Car had scratches and a few age related dinks which worried me that I would try and get charged in return

Pros: Good service

Cons: Car was a bit older than I wished

Pros: the service is a subsidiary of Sixt, the car was clean and in good condition, the staff were very helpful, the overall experience was good

Cons: they did try to upsell an 'upgrade' car, they did try to offer additional cover to reduce my liability (but i already had it with Discover Cars), they did try to offer a full tank of fuel for a reduced cost, but having done around 350km the total cost of my fuel was 27euro, their full tank offer was around 75euro, im guessing they work from commission on the upsell, they were very polite during the whole process, and had I not had the cover i'd have been interested in the reduced excess cover

Pros: I got upgraded to a slightly bigger car.

Cons: Nothing, everything was great.

Pros: Overall a great experience, highly recommended. Considering the cost of taxis it’s totally worth it.

Pros: Quick service, easy to find when landing and thorough explanation given by staff

Pros: Quick, friendly service

Cons: It took a while to find the 'Get your car' sign on the service provider's (Sixt) desk. It would have been useful to specify the service provider on the booking confirmation.

Pros: it was ok

Cons: Quite difficult to find the renting place at the airport in Larnaka

Pros: fast drop off. The staff were very good

Cons: The car had lots or warning lights on, rear tire pressure and bulb not working on rear break. Also had to wait 15 minites at the collection desk.

Pros: The car was very clean and was generally fine

Cons: It wasn't the car that I ordered - they gave me a smaller car than I ordered, despite there being a Ford Focus available. They argued that they were giving me a similar car 5 doors, same engine size (which I didn't know) but, it was much smaller in size. I needed a bigger boot.

Pros: Excellent.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Our car broke down midweek, we were given a replacement car within 3 hours.

Pros: This is not new car. Condition properly too age.

Pros: Friendly and professional service

Cons: Old car , smelled like clients smoke in the car. Car was fairly damaged in and outside.

Pros: Car was waiting when we got to the pick up point. The staff member was very friendly and helpful.

Cons: We couldn’t see the desk in the arrival hall as Get your car was affiliated to Sixt car rentals which we hadn’t realised.

Pros: Quick and straightforward

Pros: It was great

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Quick and easy

Pros: Fast professional and easy

Pros: Very friendly staff at paphos airport sort out rental quickly

Cons: Car did have quite a bit of minor damage

Pros: Easy and efficient

Cons: No dislines

Pros: Good quick service and a good car.

Cons: A good car but a rotten nav system and the car had some text in Japanese....I don't speak Japanese!

Pros: overall efficiency from start to finish.

Pros: fast and professional

Pros: Good service

Pros: Good value and service

Cons: Wasn’t clear from booking info that I needed to go to the “Sikt” desk on arrival at airport for pickup and needed to ask around

Pros: Decent car for a fair price

Cons: - Requires an exaggerates large deposit for the car or buying of expensive local insurance - Additional deposit for fuel and fines is fair, but it's not ok that it takes 4 working days to return the deposit.

Pros: It was quick.

Cons: The car was old and tatty. It was a Golf poorly equipped and very thirsty on fuel. I ordered a Fiesta which is a far superior car.

Pros: Velocità di prenotazione

Cons: Scarso servizio al cliente

Pros: Special shout out to Eleni and Dino who we collected our car from.

Cons: Couldn’t find the desk as it’s not marked so we had to ask for it and it’s at the Sixt desk.

Pros: I mistakenly wrote down pick up and return at 11:00 instead of 10:00, I arrived at the counter at 9:30 and waited there until 10:45 even though I checked in the parking lot there was a car

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing

Cons: The car had several problems - noise from front shocks/stabilizer, fron windscreen robber wiper need to change

Pros: Quick and easy.

Pros: All quick and easy

Cons: No clear indication of which desk to go to on paperwork.

Pros: Despite being a high mileage model, the car was spotless inside with few signs of wear. In addition, only one attempt to upsell me on the model and no silliness when I informed them I have annual car rental insurance.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: This was our 6th hire in 15 months to be honest it wasn’t great, the car kept stalling. We have had 3 occasions on our last 3 hires where warning lights have come we have had engine lights twice, tyre pressure? petrol light even though the tank was full? Very sad to have to leave this review about the vehicle as the staff are lovely.

Pros: Excellent, efficient service from very friendly staff

Pros: Can not fault

Pros: Fast pickup, fast drop off. Simple papers. Clean cars.

Cons: Long held hold on CC. over 2 weeks.

Pros: Efficient service

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Very friendly and top class dealing with 2 female travellers.

Cons: There's nothing that I'd change, however still to receive my deposit for fuel..

Pros: Easy and efficient

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Speedy replacement car procedure

Cons: Car broke down on the first day

Pros: Toyota Aqua: The replacement car was better as it had a screen where music could be played, or the sat nav could be used. Opel Corsa: Very basic, no Bluetooth. It did have an aux. It was an older model around 2014-2019.

Cons: The first car I received: Opel Corsa had no water in it. After two periods of long drives (Paris to Ayia Napa, Ayia Napa to Limossol, and back to Ayia Napa) the engine overheated. Fortunately it did not break down, and this warning appeared as I approached my hotel.

Pros: Quick and easy

Cons: All good no complaints

Cons: The clutch on the car was nearly gone. No central locking. No interior light. The quality of Sixt’s cars needs bringing in line with other counties. Clearly cyprus is a dumping ground for rubbish cars but the captive market means they can charge the earth. Daylight robbery

Pros: Prompt and very efficient

Cons: I was charged an extra amount when we returned from holiday. (£23.60) This wasn't mentioned at the time of drop off. Going to investigate this now.

Pros: All went very smoothly with great humor

Pros: Staff at Sixt were quick and efficient. Excellent service and car very good

Pros: Quick and easy

Cons: Car had a few marks but to be expected having done 70,000kms
