Get Your Car at Paphos Airport

Pros: Very straight forward and in terminal

Cons: Everything was great

Pros: Got a car at a good price and was able to collect from the airport terminal rather than having to go offsite.

Cons: Car was quite old / high mileage and felt a bit rough (though it did function and did the job)

Pros: Easy to find

Cons: The manager in Paphos, only referred to as 'the boss' by the guy who served me (very nice and professional South African chap), was incredibly rude and aggressive and has an attitude problem.

Pros: Just so easy

Cons: Simple

Pros: The location of the company at the airport

Cons: See above

Pros: Polite, professional and courteous.

Cons: Pushing upgrade of car and insurance. Not showing how all the controls or gears work.

Pros: Very good. All worked out without issues.

Cons: Slightly bamboozled by being given an "upgraded" car, that didn't seem to be an upgrade. The car was fine thouigh.

Pros: Marks on the car and engine management light on

Cons: Car model was the most basic version. Won’t be using this company again

Pros: Quick & efficient

Pros: Efficient pick up.

Cons: The up selling.

Pros: Helpful and quick

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Service agent from Sixt was great. Very helpful and even upgraded us for free to a larger vehicle.

Cons: The first car (full size SUV, automatic, diesel) we collected had a defective infotainment system and some very suspect stains on the rear seats. The second smaller replacement car was a manual, petrol car. After a couple of days the car developed a serious brake judder, and the passenger seatbelt was defective. The washer Bootle was also empty and the windscreen wipers were in very poor condition. Several of these issues would fail an MOT inspection in the UK.

Pros: Helpful staff and easy to find

Cons: Nothing

Pros: The car we rented was very good , Skoda but can not remember the model, car was very clean and very spacious, one of the best cars we have had as our hire car for a long time. Fuel economy very good too.

Cons: Had no issues at all from booking to drop off 5 star ⭐️

Pros: One of the quickest pick ups for a budget car ever

Cons: Not much. Just there was no USB charger point for phones etc in the car and no water in the windscreen washer

Pros: Was quick and appeared cheap, with full insurance

Cons: When I got to the Sixt car desk I was informed that I was not fully insured and I needed to pay €150 , when I contacted your agent he informed that no refunds available

Pros: Excellent service from the desk in the airport

Cons: Car wasn’t readily available when I arrived, not on site, but only a few minutes wait.

Pros: Quick easy process.

Cons: Agents always asking if I want to upgrade, I selected the car for a reason.

Pros: Very helpful staff with all policies explained

Cons: Nothing

Pros: The desk assistant gave me options for insurance and different vehicles when I picked up the keys but no hard sell

Cons: Not clear that you have to go to the Sixt counter - I had to Google advice from other customers before booking to find this out

Pros: Overall outstanding

Cons: Nothing

Pros: I arrived an hour early, due to getting through the airport faster than I anticipated. They didn't have my car ready and offered an upgrade if I wanted one sooner, I said I would wait and went and had a coffee . 15 Mins later the agent came and found me and said they my car was ready and would I like to pick it up after I had finished my drink. Really helpful.

Cons: Nothing to hate.

Pros: slick service and nice little clean car

Cons: This only thing I found difficult is finding the car hire top off area. I wasn't sure whether to park in a car park. I eventually found it right round the other side of the airport entrance... some signs might be helpful

Pros: Great staff prompt service good class of car Good value for money

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Friendliness of the agents and the car collection staff

Cons: Having to wait up to 5 days to get my deposit back. Also I didn't like the upselling - ie trying to get me to sign up to a larger car

Pros: It was reasonably easy to organise and collect and the car was reliable with no faults.

Cons: I didnt like how the insurance was sold and then told at collection from sixt that we really should have had their insurance and that if we needed to use the one we had bought we would have to pay their fees and claim back later, it wasnt clear and we felt a little conned.

Pros: Great service, speedy process & easy to navigate the system

Cons: The interior of the car could have been better

Pros: It was friendly and efficient

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Picked the car up from Cyprus airport. Pick up area immediately inside airport arrival exit. Paperwork done to through Sixt car rental. No heavy up selling, we had additional full cover in advance which is always worth having. Would use again

Pros: Was able to provide the exact service we required at a competitive price

Pros: Very quick and easy pickup. Great little car for a holiday in Cyprus. No problems with the drop off.

Pros: Booking process and collection easy.

Cons: All very straightforward.

Pros: Simple to book

Pros: A car provided by a larger company but at a better price through this agency and with personal service and prompt deposit refund

Cons: Nothing

Cons: I payed insurance twice. If I took only DoscoverCars insurance, I would have to pay every damage by myself and later to refund it from DiscoverCars.

Pros: Quick and cheap.

Cons: Agent was trying to scare me into buying full insurance even though I have full damage waiver protection. When he presented the car forms to sign he didn’t tell me I had a Nissan note and not the ford focus as advertised. I had to spot his myself. I think the person at the counter was SNEAKY and I didn’t like it and I will be complaining about this.

Pros: Polite agents, service was quick and effortless.

Cons: Everything was explained well, good communication. Easy to find and return. Great at airport pickup.

Pros: As above.

Cons: The car was a bit old with a difficult gear box but no real problem.

Pros: Very courtious at check in

Cons: The aircon didn't work

Pros: Friendly and helpful

Cons: Difficult to recognise rental desk. Sign is not clear enough. Took us over an hour to sort car out.

Pros: Staff were really nice and helpful

Pros: Picking up and dropping off was clearly sign posted and easily facilitated.

Cons: Car rental agent was very pushy, trying to upsell a much too big car, despite me having prepaid and being a solo traveller. Then she was trying to sell me extra insurance and said the insurance I had already bought from elsewhere was insufficient, when it clearly wasn’t. I ended up with an older and battered VW Golf 🤔

Pros: We where so happy with the car and the service prided

Cons: Arriving at Paphos airport we could find the desk for discover cars. We went to another desk then we had to explain our booking and we where then told discover cars is a booking agent and the desk was at Sixty cars. Once we realised this, everything was smooth from then onwards.

Pros: Easy process booking, collecting and returning

Pros: Straight forward

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: I liked the fact that the desk was alongside SixT, and three agents were ther, so a speedy collection was possible.

Cons: Nothing to dislike, all aspects of ther services provided were great.

Pros: The excellent upgrade for little money

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Friendly staff.

Pros: Good value. Only gripe was that the logo on the booking confirmation was tiny, so it took a while to realise it was actually Sixt. Had to ask someone in the end.

Cons: Tried to upsell me.

Pros: Quick via sixt in airport. Gear box got stuck. Sixt came to our villa within 2 hrs with a replacement.

Cons: Quite high mileage but cheap so wouldn’t expect a new car.

Pros: All good

Cons: nothing

Pros: Very quick service - it wasn’t clear that we needed to visit the Sixt desk in airport or it would have been 10 stars. Car looked ok but had a lot of scratches. The €1000 deposit seems extreme. No issues with picking up or returning car.

Cons: Make it clear what desk to go to in arrivals.

Pros: Very friendly and efficient

Pros: Quick and easy

Cons: No sign for Discovery cars at Paphos Airport but went to Sixt desk

Pros: Quick service and explained everything about the car etc

Cons: Nothing really

Pros: Easy to use website and prices were reasonable in comparison to others.

Cons: Nothing

Cons: Nothing, will use again

Pros: very quick to get car and drop off. good price

Cons: the desk isnt marked get my car. its actually SIXT. i knew this before so was good to know. the AC struggled a little with the heat. Cyprus is very hilly! need something with a bit more power

Pros: How close the pickup and dropping of pont was at the airport

Pros: Efficient and quick. No messing. Deposit paid back promptly. No pushy up selling - just a polite ask

Pros: Prompt and efficient service at the booking and especially the pick up

Pros: Got a upgrade

Cons: There was nothing to dislike
