Usually use green motion won’t use Avia again. Out of the 3 cars dropped off at around the same time not one got the full deposit back after renting a least 3 cars a year abroad never not had a deposit not given back and charged on top of deposit. Screamed at us in the car park.

Cons: When I was collecting the car, I was told the car was clean inside and outside and ready go. But I either had to return the car in the same condition after my rental (i.e. clean the car inside and out myself) or pay a fee to have Avia clean the car for me. This is utter nonsense. All car hire companies include standard cleaning in their car hire charges - I rent 2-3 cars a year in various locations around the world and I have never come across this. Total scam and I will never rent Avia again.

Pros: They were serviceminded and professional. And I liked that the lady helping me was very careful and accurate while we checked the car for old scratches. She documented it all! So when we returned the car there were no problems. We rented our car in Dubrovnik airport. They also did not try to force me into getting extra insurance since I told them I had it all covered and they were fine with that! A big plus. Can highly recommend!

Pros: We arrive at the office, they start telling us about services that are not included like 9 -12 euros to clean the car, a fee of 40 euros minimunt if we went to an island, etc ... they decided to not take the car because it started to become expensive so we decided to go to an other rental office. Pros: I think that there is a bad communication between discovery cars and rental agencies they are selling online. Must , must read all of their offers before accepting.

Cons: They refused to accept debit Mastercard or Visa and they insisted on credit card. Also did not want to accept my partners credit card because it doesn't have the same name like the person who made reservations even do he is listed as a secondary driver. It is all tourists trap and in a way kind of blackmailing. Not everyone had a credit cards these days?!!!

Cons: I paid for full insurance via your website but when I arrived I needed an actual credit card to secure that insurance of €1300 - which was stated in the T&C’s but the credit card bit was non-negotiable. We don’t own a credit card. So then the only option was to pay for THEIR insurance which was another £375 cost, not a deposit. So the car cost practically doubled. Their staff were incredibly rude, blunt, unable to try to find a solution but angry we took insurance out with Discover Cars! Awful!

Cons: Our arrival was delayed by a thunderstorm over the airport which forced our aircraft to divert to Zagreb in the north of Croatia. We were not allowed to use mobile phones while refuelling, so could not inform Avia. Collection of the car was therefore delayed. The Avia staff were aware, but insisted on charging 40 Euros for late collection. They also charged 125 Euros for crossing the border to Montenegro, a hidden unexpected charge. Such extra charges damage their and your reputation.

Although one cover with a pocket in the second and third rows, and the problem is solved. The rear distance sensors were very helpful. They were not equipped at the front, and they were sorely lacking.

Pros: Efficiency and professionalism no hiden costs

Pros: Simple car hire. At airport. Easy.

Cons: We hired from Dubrovnik Airport. It was only there we were informed about add on rates if we wished to cross a border. Ranges from £50 to £100. It’s highly likely a traveller would cross a border in this part of Croatia. I would have preferred this to have been covered at booking.

Cons: The extra insurance to drive across the border, doubled the cost of the. This should be made clear at the time of booking the car, not when we were at the desk collecting it rental

Cons: They gave away our reserved car after having a delayed flight. We were travelling with our 8 month old son and it was a massive ordeal. They have no compassion or empathy. Would NOT recommend, better off going directly with the rental car company. PLUS they kept our deposit!!!!!! The lady Martian was especially rude as she did not car we had a baby with us she just kept saying according to terms and conditions we were late and it’s in their right to give away the car.

Cons: Unexpected 80 euro cost to cross into Bosnia

Cons: Got charged for Bosnia pass which I'm pretty sure we didn't need.

Cons: Pickup not inside terminal as on voucher but outside. Car trunk small, our luggage (3st) hardly fitted in. We had to pay additional 80 euros for crossing border (there is no other option when driving from Dubrownik to Split). This was not informed upfront.

Cons: Rude woman in the office. Charging us more than anticipated. We didn’t receive a car and had to get a taxi to our destination!

Pros: Apart from the comments made, service provided was good. It would have been better if the booked VW Polo car had been provided instead I got a Renault Clio and a friend got Peugeot 205.

Cons: They wanted additional money to cross boarder with car. Unlimted mileage stated on contract yet 150km per day limit also stated on contract which was confusing.

Pros: Avia was - on the other hand - very kind about our surprised costs and offered us a small discount, which was very sweet. The car was clean and nice. Drove very relaxed. When we returned the car, it was smooth and efficient. I will definitely recoomend Avia!

Cons: I want to go to another part of Croatia and need to pass 10 km of the Bosnia and Hercegovina border. They want to sell me green card insurance for 125 euro, to pass this 10 km through Bosnia and Hercegovina.

Pros: I am very happy with this company service. I got car in 10 minutes or so - with no queues. They gave brand new car for the same price. On the drop off I asked if they can bring be back to the city and they agreed for the small fee - still better and cheaper than by taxi
