Avia Rent A Car at Dubrovnik Airport

Cons: Did find them over the top with inspection of car on return not that I had anything to be concerned about they dud say the car needs to be returned clean.

Pros: Car condition, value and convenient location

Cons: Inadequate staffing, staff going above reasonable to try and find some new blemish on the vehicle after a 6 day rental and being disappointed that it was returned in identical condition

Cons: There was additional charge for early drop-off car which was exactly at 7 am. Also they end up charging us for washing the car and there was a fee for cross border to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Pros: Good Prices

Cons: Car quite badly damaged in various places when I picked car up

Pros: Good friendly staff

Cons: Lack of information on restricted driving zones

Pros: Nothing. Chancers.

Cons: Pure robbery.

Pros: Very quick pick up and drop off, nice, clean car

Pros: Fantastic service and very easy location,

Cons: Not very friendly agents, car not at all similar to the make/model i hired.

Pros: Service lamp light during my two weeks period

Pros: Easy to find in Dubrovnik airport

Cons: The additional driver fee

Cons: First of all there was someone else underwear in the car, inside was not clean at all.

Pros: Agent was helpful and explained everything well.

Cons: Agent that handed over the car was ok but not very helpful in explaining what would be registered as damage and what not.

Pros: We were lucky enough to have a brand new car and of a better model than we paid for

Cons: Not as easy to contact Avia prior to pick up , maybe a WhatsApp number would’ve been handy

Pros: Ease of handover, helpfulness when rental period needed to be changed by myself

Cons: Nothing

Cons: agent at pick up was rude and didn’t want to do anything to help us. had to pay an extra €10 for one bar being missing on the petrol dial even though i filled it up on the way to the airport.

Pros: Great customer service

Pros: It was quick and easy to find.

Cons: They charge extra fees for cleaning the car? First time we’ve robe heard of this new trick. They hold your deposit for a long time.

Pros: Super thorough on existing damage to the car, all little marks noted and proof emailed to me. When I dropped off the car the inspection was quick and hassle free

Cons: Only thing I didn’t like was the extra cost for cleaning the car on drop off

Pros: All was as expected , received it quite fast and the car was clean and ready to go

Cons: During the return process the agent found a scratch that was not marked on their end Showing a video during the hand over with the other agent stating that indeed there is a scratch solved it

Pros: The car was nice had aircon,

Cons: When you pick up lots of hidden charges cleaning fee and insurance and lots of sell sell sell. 40 minutes waiting to collect over 30 minutes to drop off. Usually use green motion won’t use Avia again. Out of the 3 cars dropped off at around the same time not one got the full deposit back after renting a least 3 cars a year abroad never not had a deposit not given back and charged on top of deposit. Screamed at us in the car park.

Cons: When I was collecting the car, I was told the car was clean inside and outside and ready go. But I either had to return the car in the same condition after my rental (i.e. clean the car inside and out myself) or pay a fee to have Avia clean the car for me. This is utter nonsense. All car hire companies include standard cleaning in their car hire charges - I rent 2-3 cars a year in various locations around the world and I have never come across this. Total scam and I will never rent Avia again.

Cons: Somewhat of a scam. Charging 15 € extra for cleaning service (in advance, ie not included in the rent) an an extra €50 ”Island fee”.

Pros: Moeilijk doen met creditcard

Pros: Very efficient pick up and drop - professional and friendly staff

Cons: Very particular about minor dings to the car - made me nervous about driving it.

Pros: They are a shocking company based on hard sell and scare tactics really bad company to rent from. I never used the car really was in Hilton car park still said car was dirty. Also they said deposit of 1700 euro was taking one month to go back into my account then after car drop of was told 4 days liars and not a trustworthy company.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Really convenient pick up at the terminal. Quick and easy process and helpful staff.

Pros: It was very quick.

Cons: Very high insurance excess!

Cons: Paying extra for car cleaning and no windscreen wash

Pros: Service was great . Very easy to deal with

Pros: Very friendly and professional staff.

Cons: Charged a $15 euro cleaning fee that was not in the original voucher

Pros: Easy and good quality car

Cons: Lots of extra charges such as travel to Bosnia and permission to travel to islands

Cons: The fuel gauge stopped working and we were forced to fill up twice. We still have yet to receive refund or apology.

Pros: Good car, fair prices and kind staff

Cons: I Reserved the car online but had to wait in queue. The rental cost were higher than in other company

Pros: Great service

Cons: Nothing

Pros: netjes geholpen, mooie nieuwe auto met weinig kilometers op de teller

Cons: -

Pros: Very helpful staff not pushy on the insurance bit

Cons: none

Pros: Well located and speedy process both on picking up and dropping off.

Cons: 9 euro cleaning fee paid at pick up. The car I recover certainly want that clean.

Pros: Easy, on-airport access Staff were very clear & thorough at pickup/dropoff No pressure to buy their top-up insurance

Cons: Pickup & drop off took too long due to lack of staff

Pros: The lady who helped us at pick up went out of her way to explain the Dubrovnik city centre charges and restrictions to ensure we didn’t incur extra expenses. She also called our hotel and directed us to a car park out side the restricted area. Put our car computer into English and is an asset for your brand.

Cons: N/A

Pros: They were serviceminded and professional. And I liked that the lady helping me was very careful and accurate while we checked the car for old scratches. She documented it all! So when we returned the car there were no problems. We rented our car in Dubrovnik airport. They also did not try to force me into getting extra insurance since I told them I had it all covered and they were fine with that! A big plus. Can highly recommend!

Pros: We arrive at the office, they start telling us about services that are not included like 9 -12 euros to clean the car, a fee of 40 euros minimunt if we went to an island, etc ... they decided to not take the car because it started to become expensive so we decided to go to an other rental office. As we can not take any car, i would like to have a remboursement. Thanks

Pros: Car was alright.

Cons: Very rude, clearly trying to get you to pay for small scratches and not interested in explaining what the payment goes towards or being helpful, I'd avoid.

Pros: I think that there is a bad communication between discovery cars and rental agencies they are selling online. Must , must read all of their offers before accepting.

Cons: They refused to accept debit Mastercard or Visa and they insisted on credit card. Also did not want to accept my partners credit card because it doesn't have the same name like the person who made reservations even do he is listed as a secondary driver. It is all tourists trap and in a way kind of blackmailing. Not everyone had a credit cards these days?!!!

Pros: Efficient and pleasant staff

Cons: Nothing, the only problem was the wait at pick up caused by other customers trying to collect cars without the appropriate documentation or trying to use a debit card and arguing with the Avia staff. Definitely not the fault of Avia

Pros: Being near the terminal

Cons: Charged 50 euro as we were taking the car to Korcula, also charged 9 euro for the car to be cleaned, we would have had to clean it ourselves otherwise - no mention of this at the time of booking. I would expect the cleaning to be included in the rental price.

Pros: Good quick service.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Fast and good

Pros: A few scratches when we collected but the Agent photographed it

Pros: Helpful and speedy

Cons: Nothing

Pros: The car was a new car.

Cons: I paid for full insurance via your website but when I arrived I needed an actual credit card to secure that insurance of €1300 - which was stated in the T&C’s but the credit card bit was non-negotiable. We don’t own a credit card. So then the only option was to pay for THEIR insurance which was another £375 cost, not a deposit. So the car cost practically doubled. Their staff were incredibly rude, blunt, unable to try to find a solution but angry we took insurance out with Discover Cars! Awful!

Pros: Reply some of the emails, but not all when asking about insurance issues in advance

Cons: No serious warning for permitted zone issue and the risk for super high penalty of Eur1600! Full coverage insurance issues doubling the car rental cost which is way too expensive. Booked Peugeot SUV with high floor but was given another small car which I tried to avoid at the time of reservation, which was indeed cheaper. Was claimed to be the same but it’s definitely not!

Pros: Nothing!

Cons: Way too much extra add on costs and damage control is too extensive: minor scratch is regarded as a damage.

Pros: Great car!

Cons: We assumed all costs were included, but disappointed to then be asked if we wanted to pay for ‘cleaning insurance’ of €9, in case the car was returned dirty. If we didn’t take the insurance, we would be charged €12 for cleaning costs!

Pros: It was pretty good, had to wait a while but car was great.

Cons: Some confusion over extras, additional insurance which was purchased through DiscoverCars but not compatible with Avia. Also had to pay extra for ferry. Wanted to go cross border but chose not to due to addional fees.

Pros: The pick up and drop off were in the terminal

Cons: They claim to have no hidden charges, however they charged €50 to take your car on the ferry, and they also charged a €9 cleaning fee, when the car wasn’t exactly spotless when we got it.

Pros: Very good all round ease of pick up and drop off

Cons: Na

Pros: Good service and no surprises.

Cons: Everything went well

Pros: Worse service ever.

Cons: People are unfriendly and they constantly try to deceive you. Never more.

Pros: Best car hire company I’ve ever dealt with taking 15 mins max from going to desk to being ready to leave with car. Highly recommended.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: They were helpful in re-opening the car because I missed an item.

Cons: They are very picky about the tiniest scratches. I did rent lots of cars before. Never seen a company complaining about things they did when returning the car. The rental itself was inexpensive. I don't hope charging customers for damage is their business model. Would not use their service again.

Pros: Very easy pick up and drop off process.

Cons: Being charged for car cleaning was a surprise (a new one to me). Especially frustrating when the car wasn’t that clean on the outside.

Pros: Quick pickup

Cons: No screen wash in car at pick up

Pros: Pleasant staff. Very through.

Pros: Brand new car

Cons: Really shock when early drop off penalized

Pros: it was easy to pick and the car given to us was clean and good.

Cons: i was suppose to wash the car which I thought was odd ... but cost only 9 Euro so was not bad. I had full insurance cover with discovercars agents but they still took a deposit of 1500 which was incase i scratched the car. extra surcharge to go to neighbouring countries which I would say is standard but should make it clearer when booking the car. Otherwise it was very good service.

Cons: Way too many hidden and extra charges. Ridiculous cleaning charge for car brought back clean. Extra charge for driving in Slovenia. Etc

Pros: Car was new and in good condition.

Cons: Rude staff who were unhelpful when we had a problem with the car. They then charged us 100 euros for extra cleaning when there was a small chocolate mark on one of the seats.

Pros: Excellent service. The pick-up and drop-off of the car was quick and absolutely no problems. It's a short walk from the airport terminal.

Cons: Charged for so many extras like: border crossings. Charged for over 70 age. Charged for early drop off. The car electronics stopped working after two day. CarPlay worked sporadically. Electronics problems. Gas tank wouldn’t show full Alarms on dash for no reason. Tire air pressure indicator showed low when not needed. Diesel fluid alarm kept warning showing diesel fuel would need to be added soon. When checked at service station attendant said levels would make it to our end destination.

Pros: Easy to find. Quick service.

Cons: Hidden ferry fee that was never mentioned when booking. Wasted money because we didn't end up going to island.

Pros: Fast

Cons: Trying to charge for cleaning the car at pickup

Pros: Car condition

Cons: They didn't accept debit card with pre-authorization function for deposit

Pros: Pick up and drop off were easy.

Cons: I didn’t like that Avia charged 12 euros because the car exterior was not freshly washed. It rained during my rental time and the car had “spots”, and Avia charged 12 euros for a “dirty” car. There were a lot of extra charges: 125 euros to drive across the border, 125 euros to drop off at a different location, 80 euros for a GPS unit (which Avia did not have even though I had reserved ahead of time).

Cons: Compulsory 35 Euro winter hire fee not included in rental rate and payable locally on arrival. It is mention in the small print of T&Cs but did not spot it when booking.

Cons: The company tried to scam me charing me for a damage that was already on the car when I picked it up. I had to argue and show them a video I took initially for them to drop it. Bad experience.

Cons: taking a large credit card deposit

Pros: Super professional and fast.

Pros: Fantastic friendly staff very helpful

Pros: The office location is close to the airport. Easy to pickup the car.

Cons: Staff is friendly

Pros: Easy to work with. honest, they explained everything, which was nice as we were from the U.S and were going into several other countries. No hidden charges. Straightforward.

Cons: Small print charges, staff were somewhat abrupt when collecting admitted they were busy. A number of clients were faced with charges they weren't expecting, perhaps clarity when initially booking would make their life easier

Pros: Cheap, friendly

Pros: Lovely car, great condition and cleanliness. Better car than expected.

Cons: Slow service and communication on collection

Pros: Amazing service

Cons: My flight was delayed and my booking was 'cancelled' after an hour and I had to pay €35 to 'reinstate' it.

Pros: Really fast and efficient. Perfect location and ease of pick up and drop off.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Price performance, ease of return

Cons: Had to wait pretty long to get the car as it was "cleaned" and still there was melted candy on the front panel :)

Pros: Quick pick up and drop off

Cons: Probably the cross border fee was high in comparing of other companies

Pros: People we nice, insurance coverage was a bit confusing on the costs vs coverage. Discover being a 3rd party makes it complicated.

Pros: close to the airport

Cons: wait a very long time

Pros: Very reliable, quick service, very attentive

Cons: None

Pros: Nothing much

Cons: Takes too long..

Pros: Excellent customer service from the rental company and all very quick and easy both with collection and with return

Pros: Efficiënt drop off and good price for the car.

Cons: Pick up time and the additional charges.

Pros: It was professional

Pros: Friendly and efficient

Cons: Fast but the car was still wet due to the number at the time .

Cons: Charge to ‘reinstate’ the cancelled booking!

Cons: Discussion whether a damage was written wrongly on the form at pickup

Pros: Very nice personnel. They assisted me 100%

Cons: 2 things. They expected me to pick up a car right on time. However plane was late and I had to pay 50 Euro penalty for being late. And second. Deposit could be withdrawn only from Credit card. It is the first time in my life, when money couldn't be frozen on a debit card. This wasn't explicitly declared while booking and the only way to get a car was to pay full full insurance, which costed half of a rental price.

Pros: Great car; good price; very easy drop off

Cons: Took a long time to pick the car up and process paperwork, being asked for infoemation that had all been provided to Discovery Cars at the time of booking

Pros: Got pretty much a brand new car with a few 100km on the clock, what's not to love everything happened with ease great agent at Dubrovnik end

Cons: We had a glitch with the key, rang the help line, easy to communicate with, matter resolved within 15 minutes

Pros: Friendly efficient staff. :)

Pros: Only 1 minute walk from the airport. Great service and a good car.

Pros: nice people, polite, and they can handle the stress when there are 5 people waiting for their car.

Cons: x

Pros: Easy pick up at the airport and car ready to go.

Cons: Our roaming didn't work initially so hard copy maps would have been helpful.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: I was given a lower grade car

Pros: Efficient. Just getting started on a big trip so we were anxious to get going. The efficiency of service was therefore appreciated.

Cons: NA

Pros: No fuzz, just fixing the paper/payment and inspect the car, then off we go.

Pros: Staff where very helpful and informative and made the renting of the car so easy

Pros: Great, efficient service from pick up to drop off

Pros: Amazing agency and car

Cons: There was a surcharge just for extending the time of pick up

Pros: Great price for an almost new Jeep. Much better than the VW polo we were expecting

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Friendly staff who gave clear information and assistance.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: help me to fix the mistake

Cons: the one way return rate and cross non-EU rate are expensive.

Pros: Helpful and friendly staff both on collection and return. Easy to find the rental desk and the vehicle.

Cons: Classification of cars is not accurate.

Pros: 2nd time using yourselves for car hire and its been so efficient and easy, congratulations keep it up

Cons: high cross border fee

Pros: Price and service

Pros: New car

Cons: Price differed from what was originally quoted

Pros: Everything was ready, the damages of the car already noted in the documentation and the process of pick-up and return was very fast.

Pros: V accessible

Cons: Agressive attitude.

Pros: They had some kind of problem wit my credit card deposit. Even though my card company said everything was OK from my side. The machine was saying wrong pin. The company then offered me a car at a very high price including their insurance which I could pay in cash from a debit card. I refused it did spoil my holiday .

Pros: I like the person that helped me when I dropped it off, she was very pleasant

Cons: The person working on pick up should not be working with the public. Obvious low self-esteem that wants to bully the consumer.

Pros: Great value for money, friendly helpful staff.

Pros: Easy to pick up and easy to return.

Cons: Working hours. Would be nice that they would start atleast from 7:30

Cons: Credit card rule should be more highlited when ordering

Pros: Quick and simple car pick up at the airport with no added extras

Pros: quick and efficient handling

Pros: Efficient

Cons: Overcharge for return of 3/4tank instead of full tank. The charge was what a full tank of gas cost , after mildly protesting, agent reduced by €20 only if I pay cash. Unprofessional and while I expected a fee for not returning full, the amount was ridiculous especially since the gas prices in Croatia are controlled.

Pros: Service desk in Split when dropping off the car was great. The young lady was extremely helpful and even helped organize a taxi...(we had internet access issues)and kept us updated on its arrival time.

Cons: Was all good.

Pros: Easy to deal with

Cons: Required a large deposit far larger than other companies. Car had large dents in it when I picked it up.

Pros: Apart from staying with working hours, all went well and staff accommodated as best as possible. Pleased.

Pros: Car and no hidden costs

Cons: Process could be faster

Pros: Reliable well maintained car

Cons: Had to pay extra ( approx 100euros) for paperwork to take car over border into Bosnia though this was not required at passport control.

Pros: It was very efficient and the car we were given was almost brand new. Everything was explained to us about crossing borders.

Pros: Everything was excellent

Cons: Everything

Pros: very nice and friendly approach, good advice on border crossing to Montenegro. very good customer care.

Pros: Flexible on the delivery

Cons: Car was late for pick up. Additional fees for ferry and delivery.

Pros: The two staff at the airport were helpful and quick.

Cons: We paid a lot though and were given a 70k skoda in not great condition. For the amount we paid we hoped for a better car

Pros: We collected our rental car in record time. The staff were also very helpful as we were crossing the border into Montenegro.

Cons: the service was slow

Pros: Fast, easy, and affordable.

Cons: The car seemed a bit older and didn't have a backup camera which seems pretty standard in new cars. There was a very large dent in the front bummer that wasn't cute and we almost got blamed for it. Luckily we had photos.

Cons: Very good service and kind representative

Pros: Easy, simple and fast

Cons: The price a little expensive. People at split weren’t as nice as in Dubrovnik

Pros: Efficient and friendly

Cons: Nothing really

Pros: Office well placed to find from airport terminal

Cons: Our arrival was delayed by a thunderstorm over the airport which forced our aircraft to divert to Zagreb in the north of Croatia. We were not allowed to use mobile phones while refuelling, so could not inform Avia. Collection of the car was therefore delayed. The Avia staff were aware, but insisted on charging 40 Euros for late collection. They also charged 125 Euros for crossing the border to Montenegro, a hidden unexpected charge. Such extra charges damage their and your reputation.

Pros: Vriendelijk personeel. Was netjes geregeld.

Cons: Wij hadden graag een bewijs gehad dat de auto goed was afgeleverd.

Pros: Avia, and the people there, were great

Pros: Nothing

Cons: I Losty reservation and they Won't refund the prepaid amount

Pros: Good car Polite and easy going staff

Cons: They could explain me the charge for taking the car in a non-Eu country showing an official document rather than tell me verbally. So, they were correct but explaining looking at the web site would make the cost understandable.

Pros: The staff were brilliant - quick, efficient, helpful and great fun.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Drop off was quick on the day we were there.

Cons: Car I had ordered was not available. Agent strongly tried to pursued us to agree to a lesser model car which our luggage would not fit into, or pay €190 extra to get the car I ordered from the neighbouring company. I outlined what I knew of the terms and conditions and stood firm in not accepting the options given to us. 3hrs later we got an upgraded car. Overall I felt this was a frustrating and unnecessary stress particularly as we had two small children with us.

Pros: Very efficient

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Very helpful woman

Cons: Car key battery needed replacing

Pros: Excelent quality/price ratio! Very cheap rental and a very nice car. The guys in the desk very helpfull

Cons: Nothing important to mention. A little delay to pick up the car, though I guess was to cope with the arrival of the plane

Pros: Service was fast and efficient

Cons: The car had too many scratches

Pros: Friendly service rep at pick-up.

Cons: It took about 15 minutes to get through all the paperwork.

Pros: Effecient and friendly

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Lack of service. Bunch of scammers. Not getting advertised for.

Pros: Friendly staff, fast pick up and drop off.

Cons: The phone adapter that would have connected me to car play was not compatible with my iPhone. I noticed this before departing and the representative gave me an adapter for the cigarette lighter. This was a nice solution but I would have preferred CarPlay and if I hadn’t noticed this I would NOT have been able to use gps

Pros: We received an upgraded model and hybrid vehicle which was a bonus

Pros: Fast and straightforward paperwork and car pick up/ drop off.

Cons: Child seat was pretty cheap for the money asked. Off-hours car drop off was kind of pricy.

Pros: The car was damaged when we picked it up, lots of scratches and bumper damage, the rear left taillight was broken, and we later learned we had no horn as we watched another vehicle run over a lady and her young child which could have possibly have been prevented if we had a horn to warn them or the person backing up into and over them, very traumatic experience, when we dropped it off they didn’t seem to care and told us there was a new scratch near an already badly scratched up spot on the car

Cons: Poor, they didn’t know they gave us a car that was illegal to drive, put our lives in danger.

Pros: Quick, easy, hassle free, nice clean nearly new car. Everything explained. Impressed and would definitely use again.

Pros: Friendly.

Cons: Unclear that we had to return the tank full. And because it wasn't full, we had to pay cash for the difference. That should have been documented.

Pros: Girl explain everything..

Cons: Discovercars didn't explain in case if I'm late with plain that I would be charge extra 50 euros....from Canada to finale destinations plains was late and I have to pay 50 euros extra for my rental...I think DISCOVERCARS MUST REFUND ME EXTRA CHARGES

Pros: Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient at both pick-up and drop-off. Our car was ready at the designated pick-up time and in great condition. Spotlessly clean on the inside and easy to use bluetooth and navigation systems were a huge bonus. Great experience all around!

Cons: N/A

Pros: Nothing

Cons: I got charged an extra 80 euros for going across the border to Bosnia and 125 euros to Montenegro. This is ridiculous, and should have been included in the booking. Discover cars should've been aware of this and could've warned us. I will never use Discover Cars again if I go to Dubrovnik.

Pros: Friendly & efficient

Pros: Nice & clean

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Excellent service from all the staff, cars are new and in excellent condition

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Service was good and the agent was very helpful.

Cons: The van we rented had body damage on the sliding door so it looked bad. However it drove well and we enjoyed our travels.

Pros: Good knowledgeable people. Great and prompt service

Cons: N/A

Pros: Everything went well.

Cons: The insurance for BiH and Montenegro is very expensive.

Pros: There was no push for additional insurance coverage.

Cons: There should be advance notice of the island access permit fee.

Pros: It was friendly fast and easy. Also great price and love the car.

Pros: Eccellent service at the Airport ( Diego A.)

Cons: Eccellent service at the Airport ( Diego A.)

Cons: Being charged €50 for picking car up late even though communication was made

Pros: Straightforward representatives

Cons: Slow pickup time

Pros: Kind, efficient, simple

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Friendly

Cons: Damaged bodywork of car

Cons: - Horrible car with damages and navigation not working. Bad mileage

Pros: Helpful staff

Pros: Helpful staff.

Cons: Too long to pick up car. Advertised as being in terminal. It wasn't, it was across the road with all the others. Cost of car rental,Croatia.

Pros: Customer service by Avia was probably the worst I’ve ever experienced anywhere in the world.

Cons: The drop off was really messy... no explanations, no desk. AVIA charged me an extra fee that was not mentioned in the agreement with discover.com. But the discover.com has returned me the fee

Pros: Good service, good car.

Cons: The agent didn't explain much about how the car works.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful. They pointed out good routes to take that avoided boarder crossings also and a new bridge which we didn’t know about.

Cons: Quick and easy. Friendly.

Pros: Excellent service

Pros: Clear and simple to book.

Cons: all good.

Pros: Super friendly staff and very helpful!

Cons: One of the car doors didn't lock.

Pros: excellent fast & efficient service agent

Pros: fast

Cons: all was OK

Pros: The service is impeccable.

Cons: Only one thing raised the doubts. Was the requirement of rental desk to pay extra for transit through Bosnia and Herzegovina really legal?

Pros: The car was clean and nice. The service less.

Cons: We had to wait more than an hour to receive our car, because the documents weren't ready. Also we had to pay extra fees.

Pros: Quick pick up and drop off

Cons: Nothing really

Pros: Good customer service, nearly brand new cars

Pros: I really liked the agent when I picked up the car. She patiently explained everything.

Cons: A confusing insurance issue. The car seats did not have any pockets on the back. We had nowhere to store water and other small items. They fell from their seats, skiing on the floor. Although one cover with a pocket in the second and third rows, and the problem is solved. The rear distance sensors were very helpful. They were not equipped at the front, and they were sorely lacking.

Pros: Excellent service. Time efficient and would definitely recommend the company to others

Pros: Can’t fault Avia - lovely people

Pros: Efficiency and professionalism no hiden costs

Pros: Simple car hire. At airport. Easy.

Cons: We hired from Dubrovnik Airport. It was only there we were informed about add on rates if we wished to cross a border. Ranges from £50 to £100. It’s highly likely a traveller would cross a border in this part of Croatia. I would have preferred this to have been covered at booking.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff

Cons: The extra insurance to drive across the border, doubled the cost of the. This should be made clear at the time of booking the car, not when we were at the desk collecting it rental

Cons: They gave away our reserved car after having a delayed flight. We were travelling with our 8 month old son and it was a massive ordeal. They have no compassion or empathy. Would NOT recommend, better off going directly with the rental car company. PLUS they kept our deposit!!!!!! The lady Martian was especially rude as she did not car we had a baby with us she just kept saying according to terms and conditions we were late and it’s in their right to give away the car.

Cons: Unexpected 80 euro cost to cross into Bosnia

Pros: Quick and easy.

Cons: Got charged for Bosnia pass which I'm pretty sure we didn't need.

Pros: Knowledgeable and efficient staff

Pros: Fairly quick pickup

Cons: Pickup not inside terminal as on voucher but outside. Car trunk small, our luggage (3st) hardly fitted in. We had to pay additional 80 euros for crossing border (there is no other option when driving from Dubrownik to Split). This was not informed upfront.

Pros: Speedy

Cons: Nothing

Cons: The only issue was that the car was not very powerful and did not have a radio but it was very economical

Pros: The location of the collection point

Cons: The €120 additional cost to obtain a green pass.

Pros: Didn’t like anything.

Cons: Rude woman in the office. Charging us more than anticipated. We didn’t receive a car and had to get a taxi to our destination!

Pros: Apart from the comments made, service provided was good. It would have been better if the booked VW Polo car had been provided instead I got a Renault Clio and a friend got Peugeot 205.

Cons: They wanted additional money to cross boarder with car. Unlimted mileage stated on contract yet 150km per day limit also stated on contract which was confusing.

Pros: Quick service

Cons: too many extra charges

Cons: rip of for crossing border 125 euro , horrible...

Cons: The difference in price between what was quoted in England to the price that was charged to my credit card in Croatia.

Pros: La proximité du hall de l'aéroport

Cons: Le modèle du véhicule usagé avec beaucoup de kms et tout taché à l'intérieur. Pas reçu le modèle réservé.

Pros: The rep was very efficient, polite and knowledgable.

Pros: They were quick and efficient.

Pros: All of the above.

Cons: Nothing !

Pros: Quick and correct

Pros: No me sentí bien estafado

Cons: Tube que pagar 180€ más de lo acordado,

Pros: Avia was - on the other hand - very kind about our surprised costs and offered us a small discount, which was very sweet. The car was clean and nice. Drove very relaxed. When we returned the car, it was smooth and efficient. I will definitely recoomend Avia!

Pros: Fast, no problem at pick up and return,

Pros: Easy and fast
