Pros: Friendly, fast and well priced rentals. I like that the cars I have rented are modern. Also like that the rental desk is just outside of the terminal.

Pros: Friendly English speaking staff. Checked the car thoroughly so felt at ease that I wasn’t going to be liable for any damage. Excellent hybrid car which kept fuel consumption low. Easy to locate outside airport. Refunded the holding fee on my credit card promptly.

Cons: Slight wait on arrival for car to finish being cleaned but understandable for a busy service.

Cons: Bit of a rip off having to pay an extra €125 for crossing the border into Montenegro . And charging €100 if you left a plastic bottle in the car , among other things . The condition of the car wasn’t 100 %

Pros: The rental desk was easy to find. We received a friendly greeting and the paperwork was completed promptly. There was no attempt at a hard sell if insurance, though we were warned that any knocks would incur a charge .

Cons: When returning the car, no one in office and waited around 15 minutes for them to turn up.

Cons: Charged Fifty euro extra as our plane was delayed and so we couldn't pick up the car on time. Perhaps there should be a way to pick up cars out-of-hours to avoid this scenario again.

Pros: The office is just a minute from the airport across the car park. Very friendly helpful staff who spoke English. Great car, practically new. They didn’t find any damage to the car when I dropped it off, was very easy to get my deposit back. Smooth process and affordable prices. Arranged cross-border fees quickly, paperwork all correct.

Pros: Low mileage, quality cars and as I had used Avia in previous years they already had my details so collecting the car took just a few minutes

Cons: There was an additional charge for going to Montenegro. Given many people renting in Dubrovnik will be going to Montenegro this should be clearer at time of booking. Having said that the combined price was still very good value.

Pros: Had read about some bad reviews of this rental company, but I'm happy to say mine experience was a pleasant one and positive. The agent was attentive, gave good explanation about the rental and Croatia. The car was new and clean, gave us a discount on crossing border charge to Montenegro as we took the car to Kotor. One thing we all worried is doggy rental agent which trying to con us on car damage but have to say they didn't, all previous scratches are all marked on paper. Smooth transaction.
