Avia Rent A Car at Dubrovnik Airport

Pros: I've used them several times now and trust how they work. They don't try to pressure you to take additional insurance and explain clearly.

Cons: I'm not keen on this idea that you should bring back a car clean inside and out. Reasonable yes but not freshly valeted. That should be part of the rental cost.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: When collecting the vehicle they say it needs to be returned cleaned otherwise there is a 35euro charge or you can pay 15euros ahead of time and return it dirty - scam. They hold your 1100 euro deposit for a full 30 days. Very basic cars.

Pros: Fast friendly and efficient.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Rude unhelpful agents only wanting to make money off people. They charge you deposit of 1900 euros and block your credit card and then add additional fees on top to make money. Better off finding someone face 2 face

Cons: They were rude unhelpful were not bothered by the problem we encountered. They were trying to charge 2100 euros as a deposit when the booking said 1900 euros

Pros: Nothing teribble . Also the holding charge on your cradit card seems rather excessive.

Cons: The drop off lady was realy nice and very quick . Shr expressed how clean thr car was as I was given it in an unsatisfactory state . Chewing gum stuck to thr door ,mats filthy ,chocolate on back seats .

Pros: Great speedy service from friendly staff

Pros: Car was brand new, clean and convenient

Cons: They have a clean to clean policy, which basically to get more money

Pros: Very easy and professional. Good nearly new car.

Cons: Car inside wasn't the clinest but not a big deal.

Pros: Friendly English speaking staff. Checked the car thoroughly so felt at ease that I wasn’t going to be liable for any damage. Excellent hybrid car which kept fuel consumption low. Easy to locate outside airport. Refunded the holding fee on my credit card promptly.

Cons: Slight wait on arrival for car to finish being cleaned but understandable for a busy service.

Cons: Bit of a rip off having to pay an extra €125 for crossing the border into Montenegro . And charging €100 if you left a plastic bottle in the car , among other things . The condition of the car wasn’t 100 %

Pros: 100% would use again.

Pros: The high standard of the hire car

Cons: being charged for being late to collect car

Cons: Very poor inefficiency collection of car staffing and accommodation poor seemed to be that some staff were attending to “friends “ poor customer satisfaction from all who were waiting took over 1 hour to collect car outside without shelter in 38c heat

Pros: Nothing. Appears dishonest and careless about customer service.

Cons: Apart from the status of the car. Hidden fees and attitude problem form the staff.

Pros: Friendly staff

Cons: Rental desk too crowded and staff member who I was dealing with was getting involved with other clients in rental office and process became confusing

Pros: The rental desk was easy to find. We received a friendly greeting and the paperwork was completed promptly. There was no attempt at a hard sell if insurance, though we were warned that any knocks would incur a charge .

Cons: No negative issues.

Cons: When returning the car, no one in office and waited around 15 minutes for them to turn up.

Pros: Speedy, friendly, efficient

Cons: Charged Fifty euro extra as our plane was delayed and so we couldn't pick up the car on time. Perhaps there should be a way to pick up cars out-of-hours to avoid this scenario again.

Pros: The office is just a minute from the airport across the car park. Very friendly helpful staff who spoke English. Great car, practically new. They didn’t find any damage to the car when I dropped it off, was very easy to get my deposit back. Smooth process and affordable prices. Arranged cross-border fees quickly, paperwork all correct.

Cons: Nothing, everything was stress-free

Pros: Car hire convenient to the airport. Staff very helpful and efficient.

Cons: There was an additional charge for going to Montenegro. Given many people renting in Dubrovnik will be going to Montenegro this should be clearer at time of booking. Having said that the combined price was still very good value.

Pros: Honest and friendly.

Cons: While the car was clean the service light indicator was on the whole time.

Pros: Friendly and no problems

Cons: Long wait for collection

Pros: Appalling. Cowboys. They stole my money by giving me a faulty car and then pinning the blame on me, DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.

Cons: Criminals. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Cons: Question over mark on car

Pros: Had read about some bad reviews of this rental company, but I'm happy to say mine experience was a pleasant one and positive. The agent was attentive, gave good explanation about the rental and Croatia. The car was new and clean, gave us a discount on crossing border charge to Montenegro as we took the car to Kotor. One thing we all worried is doggy rental agent which trying to con us on car damage but have to say they didn't, all previous scratches are all marked on paper. Smooth transaction.
