AddCar at Sofia Airport

Pros: The agent took 45 minutes to give me the car last my family had to wait outside the office. It was confusion over the deposit which was taken in two parts and I’ve never received the second part back which I’ve now had to raise a dispute with my bank, and I can’t get through to anyone to speak to anyone

Pros: Perfect service for such a cheap price. The car was nice and clean. I recommend the company.

Cons: There is no drop box at the time of return.

Pros: This car rental is a pure scam rather than a rental company. Would not recommend to anyone. Also it is sad that a platform likes your does not perform any check on its suppliers.

Cons: The supplier applies a pure extortion for the damages incurred. Based on further research it seems this is their standard practice.

Cons: They tried all sorts of aggressive tricks to make me pay more money - pushing aggressively their own insurance making false claims, trying to charge more money for the security deposit, using a ridiculously high exchange rate when converting from euro to local currency and bluntly stating that they can use any exchange rate they want (there is a fixed official exchange rate), trying to rush through the examination process when giving me the car, charging me 600 euros for 2 tiny scratches, ...

Cons: "Add Car" Sofia is simply rubbish. They are liars and trying to robber you with everything. They offer you good prices but on the desk you finding out you must pay again and again. They know the dents and the scratches of the cars and chage you unbelievable amount of money for it. They charge me for small scratche on the rubber of the door 250 pounds "Unbelievable ". Stay away from "Add Car" Sofia.

Pros: When returning the car, the lady was friendly.

Cons: They robbed us by asking us to pay for insurance second time. The man didn't show us the way to the car. We had to find it ourselves.

Cons: The registration process took a long time and so does the returning of the vehicle. The vehicle had little broken things that I do not they intend to repair, such as a bad trunk cover, and plastic that directs the air condition for the passenger side.

Pros: They released the car I had booked and did not have a replacement or opffer any help.

Cons: Very poor, no car after delayed flight, was told that flight number wasnt on reservation (this was an optional field) and because we were more than 1 hour late they had given car to someone else.

Cons: The car was in a bad condition and I felt unsafe. (i) The car had unusually high millage. (ii) One of the sealings on the top of the car kept detaching itself during the journey so I had to fix it with plasters. It was hitting my back window and generating load noises, which was quite scary. (iii) The aircon fans were generating load unusual noises, which was a bit scary too. (iv) The satnav system I purchased wasn't working. It was replaced by a dongle, which required constant recharging.

Pros: They were friendly and the car was great!

Cons: When we picked up the car, the notes I had in my pickup said go to terminal 2, but we flew into terminal 1. We took a shuttle bus to terminal 2 and then were told that we could have picked up the car at terminal 1, which was annoying.

Cons: No one at the desk at the time of dropping off the vehicle.Despite claiming to be open 24 hours,i spent one hour waiting for staff. Had to leave the keys and car documents on the desk.No box provided for that. They will chance to rip you off for separate insurance as they did to another customer next to me. They advised him to cancel his excess insurance and made him to pay 60 euro for their own one. Don't expect to get your car deposit back soon. I got mine over a month later.

Cons: several issues: 1. the rep offered me smaller cheaper car instead of what has been reserved saying its a better more expansive car, but it was not, he was lying 2. He insisted I would buy extra insurance. 3. After I refused to get alternative car and additional insurance he told me that USA drivers license is not accepted in Bulgaria and he will not rent out the car. I ended up being stuck with 2 kids at the airport until I simply rented another at the booth next to yours without any problems.

Cons: One of Add Car representatives stole my credit card and used the pin number I entered during the deposit cancellation process to withdraw 1600 BGL from my bank account. I got absolutely no response from the company after sending a complaint email. Outrageous.

Pros: The service was great. The representative were were expedient and addressed my concerns.

Cons: The check engine light was on when I picked up the car and was told not to worry about it.

Cons: Got a lower class car despite reservation. No offer to upgrade or refund. Car was dirty on pickup, with empty plastic bottles inside. One seatbelt buckle was missing in the backseat. When 3 passengers were riding in the back one of them was unbuckled. This is unsafe and illegal in Bulgaria. Car tires were old and cracked. They also were letting out air so I had to periodically stop and add air. Wipers were old, cracked and hard. I bought my own wipers and changed them. When raining water leaked.

Pros: freindly, professional quick service by Rosen the agent we picked and returned the car to.

Cons: Car smelled from smoke Car group was diffrent then the one we ordered allthough we were supplied a diffrent new car insteed

Pros: the car condition was very bad and it will probably have serious problems to someone that hires like a gear and/or motor problems. Altough the car was clean it has things inside that it will break down as you touch them. There is no integration between the place you hire the car and the agency you pay. I paid deposit and the whole rental where they did not even have the information about the deposit I gave to discover car hire, please fix it

Cons: Everything was fine except the car that was delivered to me wasn't at good condition as motor technical and the car was not at the same class of a polo that I should have. Also I couldn't yet get back the money that I extra paid.

It happened that I forgot back in UK my purse with all my cards, the guy working there was not helpful, for 40 minutes he was telling us that tha car is not there yet, then he did not wanted to accept any other payment metod - I had my credit card details , we had debit card, we offer to pay by cash. After 2 hours with 2 small kids gone insane on the airport, we had to go to another company to get a rent-a car. Addcar did not return £21 which we payed ....
