The whole of the Pelion area is very worth visiting if you like scenery, beaches, mountain roads and not too many crowds. Even Volos felt fairly laid back!

The Pelion peninsula is a lovely place to visit. We stayed in Afissos, a delightful village with friendly and welcoming people, and we really enjoyed staying there. It is quite central and it was easy to travel around the surrounding area.
