Turisprime at Lanzarote Airport

Cons: I booking the car and the insurance for the broker but better if the insurance buy from the turisprime.

Cons: I had to record additional damage on the vehicle at collection that wasn’t shown on the original vehicle condition report.

Pros: Good price, prompt service.

Cons: The graphic sent with directions was not particularly clear. It took a few minutes and asking other agents to find.

Cons: Selling an additional comprehensive insurance to ensure that a vehicle will be recovered from the road in case of its mechanical fault while offering a vehicle with excessive mileage on the clock, is a really ‘cheeky selling trick’ to push the customer to take and pay for it, which by the way is not legal in the EU. Also, charging a deposit instead of blocking it on the Credit Card as it normally should be done prompted the incurred transactional fees that have not been returned (!) NOT HAPPY!!!

Cons: Your meet and great information was totally wrong. You instructed us to meet representative at Meet and Greet Point. No one there. After waiting a long time, we phoned Turisprime, to be told that the Avis desk would provide the car. Why was this not stated on your booking information?

Pros: It was a reasonable price. We are giving the benefit of the doubt as we think collection will be better when they are properly set up in Lanzarote airport. I'm not entirely sure we got the car we were supposed to have. The avis girl was very charming.

With no explanation as to the reason there have been multiple attempts to take money from my card, differing amounts and no explanation. I am extremely unhappy of these attempts as they could have been taken except for some unassociated action which has stopped them.

Cons: At no point did you explain that Turisprime is administered by Avis. In addition, there is no sign at the Avis desk to that effect.

Cons: There was no representative in the car park at the located time I had to go back into the terminal to find the rep.

Cons: I went to the meeting point in level 1 car park as per instructions but no-one was there. Only by accident I eventually managed to find out by speaking to lots of people to go to the Avis desk. This was then okay but car wasn't ready, despite the fact it was already over one hour after booked pick up time. In total it took over 2 hours to pick up the car and leave the airport.

Pros: The car was the only good thing. Turisprime did not provide any service - the people at Avis sorted out the mess for us.
