Cons: 2 days ago i left the car in the office but still don't have cancellation of deposit transaction(920E), mby it's ok and it will be canceled tomorrow, but for me it's a bit longer than i expected;)

Pros: I hired a Toyota Aygo X the vehicle was like new and only had 5000 k on the odometer,

Cons: this car had so little power it even struggled to make it up hills on main roads. I ended up having to change down to first gear to continue up the hill. I did book the smallest vehicle but expected to to be able to drive the roads in the area I hired it in with out changing down to end up in first to continue up a hill.

Cons: The driver is the only one who could leave the damage hold payment and it had to be by credit card in drivers name only.

Cons: Slightly unnerving having to rely on photos of all damaged areas, and responsibility on self to take photos of anything they missed. But all worked out OK. No peprwork at all, so if you don't have roaming enabled then you will not receive the contract and damage photos etc (via email) until you turn it on.

Cons: I have already bought insurance in the initial purchase but the rep made out that I needed to choose between two extra insurance deals which I only found out after I did not need. It wasn’t explained to me clearly and ended up spending more money then I had to. I felt tricked

Pros: Excellent customer service! Explained everything in detail. Was provided with a free upgrade due to them seeing that my mother has mobility issues. Wonderful smiley female taxi driver who wouldn't let you lift a finger. Both women (taxi driver and reception) were persistent and went above and beyond in order to change satnav from Russian to English. Easy to return the car and was completed in a less than 5 mins. Would highly recommend GoByCar Lanzarote to anyone. Wonderful, fantastic service!!

Cons: There is absolutely nothing I didn't like about GoByCar... I cannot fault them and will use them again! They were wonderful and made our holiday with the service provided.

Pros: Despite being told that I have to pay extra money and more than other local car hire charges only at the point of pickup very annoying !!!!!! the person serving me was very sympathetic ….however i would not hire at such an expensive rate again

Cons: Got ripped off. Car we booked wasn't ready, so was forced to take a bigger car or wait 2 hours. Wait wasn't an option as had 2 kids with us. Also forced to take extra insurance as they wouldn't take payment from a debit card. Discrimination against those who don't live on credit.

Pros: The car was in good condition, easy to drive and overall the process without the credit card issue would have been fairly straightforward.

Cons: Should be able to use a debit card for the security deposit - it cost a bomb when their machines didn't work for my credit card.

Cons: The lack of professional handover the hidden extra cover charge. The feeling of being scammed with a major dent not reported on handover sheet until I pointed it out plus other smaller chargeable damage

Cons: Rep just wanted to sell extra insurance cover, advised that any damage, breakdown, flat tyres etc we would be charged for. Went to the car, on my own, to find that there was already several accident marks to the car that were not documented. Rep begrudgingly came out to the car to alter documents but never advised what else to check. On car return rep went over car extensively and said there were scratches under the car, which you had to lie on the floor to see! Then charged £160 for repairs

Cons: Outside of the airport. Took to long to setup the car. Overcharged me for a scratch on the bumper.

Cons: In Lanzarote their base was off airport so spent some time trying to find the minibus transfer.

Pros: It was all very quick and simple, representatives explained everything well and car was all good.
