Pick-up instructions
There are meeting points in both terminals. A regular shuttle bus will take you to Avis rental store. Meeting point at Terminal 1. Public parking Zone A nº11 (at the end). Once you pick up your luggage go upstairs to the departures area. From there go outside and cross into the public parking. Please go to area A (final parking lot) and find row 11. Keep walking until the end of the line and you will see a white booth. If you need help please contact +(34) 673726505. Meeting Point at Terminal 2. The meeting point is located in front of the exit door, across the crosswalk, at the bus stop.

Pros: Hannah was very helpful. Drop off was quick and easy.

Cons: I thought car would be at the terminal. No directions as to where to get shuttle. Took nearly 30 minutes for shuttle to arrive and another 15 mins to get to office.

Cons: We've rented a VW T-Roc car (or similar sized), received Audi Q2. Out luggage hadn't fitted at it much smaller book space. Agent recuses to give us any other car just with the same storage capacity of T-Roc. Asked for extra payment. Shameful service

Cons: We had to take a shuttle at the airport to go to AVIS, but we did not expect it and did not know where to go.. The airport information center told us to go to the car park, but no shuttle when we arrive at the car park... Just an information ta say: you have to take a shuttle at the airport, go the car park and wait there, would have been helpful.

Pros: Good car no issues.

Cons: Difficult to find. Car was described on the pick up paperwork as undamaged but it was damaged. We made staff aware before we drove the car out of the depot and insisted the damage was noted on our documents. Just a well we did because when we dropped it off at a different destination they started to mark down that damage as our responsibility. I showed them the paperwork and they said OK. Had we not been careful to note the damage I think we would have been presented with a big bill.

Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.




The driver license must be written in Roman alphabet.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
A digital driver's license will not be accepted — you must bring your physical driving license.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form. For driver licenses from countries not party to the Geneva / Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (e.g., China), an official translation of the license in the following language(s): English, Spanish, together with the original license, must be presented.
