Cons: When we arrived there was a huge line that took over an hour. Then we were told they had no cars and it could take up to 4 hours wait for our reserved car. It only took about 2 1/2 hours AFTER we had finished our paperwork. Worst car rental experience ever.

Cons: When I arrived into LAX rental car pick up on a Sunday afternoon, there were 25 people ahead of me and one Thrifty Car rental representative working. It took 90 minutes to get to my turn to pick up my car.
Pros: VERY POOR. I WAS INLINE FOR 2 HOURS BEFORE REACHING AN AGENT. THEN THE AGENT KEEP PUSHING ME FOR INSURANCE EVEN MY CREDIT CARD COVERS IT

Pros: Discover cars is an affiliate of Thrifty. The website gave the incorrect address, stated the car was at the terminal which they do not offer at the terminal, and provided the incorrect contact number. Oh let’s not forget about the 30 minute line only to check out and find out the vehicle registration expired during the term of the rental. Pay the extra $15 a day and get it direct from the provider where you have immediate service.
Pros: Dropping off the car was painless.
Cons: it sucked. I waited in Line for 3 hours for a car I had already paid for. They didn't offer any explanations, they left people standing in line without any info. My wife was sitting by our bags the whole time. I'll never do that again.

Pros: Friendly service representative (once we finally made it to the counter). Drop off was a breeze!
Cons: Waited in line at least 2 hours to get the car. Hertz line was pretty much a 5 min wait: Thrifty and Dollar were at least 2 hours.
Pros: Return was fast but was not at the terminal as it said online.
Cons: The website said Thrifty was in the terminal at the airport and not offsite requiring a shuttle like the other companies. For that reason I was willing to pay about $20 more than I’d found elsewhere. However, when I arrived I found out that it was offsite and required a shuttle. To top it off, the line at the rental desk was very long and only 4 agents were working. So we spent about 30 minutes waiting for an agent.
Pros: Representative was cordial and was of assistance in locating the vehicle
