Pros: Most charming pick up agent ever. Short queue. Good car.

Cons: Unsatisfying drop off. Very simple and quick but no confirmed contract completion and receipt at the time. Still no sign via email eleven hours later.

Cons: first car had 60,000 miles and the battery ended up dying and we had to replace.

Unclear why I was charged with an additional 30 USD on the day of the car drop-off - I'd appreciate some e-mail. Unclear what "additional charge" of $189 is on the final receipt. Drop-off procedure involves no human interaction so I was left anxious what the final charge will be. Nobody explained it.

Cons: Nothing like arriving from an international flight and not having a car because the agency won’t honor your reservation.

Pros: The agent doing the paperwork attempted to up sale me to a "better vehicle" I explained no the car I had booked was all I budgeted for. She looked through their inventory and for a "Better Vehicle" at the same cost I went from a Jetta to a Taos I did over 7000 miles in the month and loved the extra space

Cons: Car had defective battery. We got stranded at a National Park. After jump start by road assistance we were told to bring the car to Flagstaff to have the battery replaced. A Thrifty representative told us the address and that he called to the garage to schedule the replacement. He did not call and the garage was unable to replace the battery the same day. So we had to spend the night in a hotel in close vicinity of the garage. And we lost one day and had to change our itinerary.

Cons: When we arrived there was a huge line that took over an hour. Then we were told they had no cars and it could take up to 4 hours wait for our reserved car. It only took about 2 1/2 hours AFTER we had finished our paperwork. Worst car rental experience ever.

Pros: VERY POOR. I WAS INLINE FOR 2 HOURS BEFORE REACHING AN AGENT. THEN THE AGENT KEEP PUSHING ME FOR INSURANCE EVEN MY CREDIT CARD COVERS IT

Pros: Discover cars is an affiliate of Thrifty. The website gave the incorrect address, stated the car was at the terminal which they do not offer at the terminal, and provided the incorrect contact number. Oh let’s not forget about the 30 minute line only to check out and find out the vehicle registration expired during the term of the rental. Pay the extra $15 a day and get it direct from the provider where you have immediate service.

Cons: The website said Thrifty was in the terminal at the airport and not offsite requiring a shuttle like the other companies. For that reason I was willing to pay about $20 more than I’d found elsewhere. However, when I arrived I found out that it was offsite and required a shuttle. To top it off, the line at the rental desk was very long and only 4 agents were working. So we spent about 30 minutes waiting for an agent.
