Rhodium at Venice Airport
Customer Ratings and Latest Reviews
Cons: I didn't get a car.
Cons: See above. Also took forever to find the van to the rental agency as the agency is never at the airport
Cons: Same as above, Rhodium, as all other Goldcar companies, does not accept Amex, but does not make it clear. So if you don’t have another type of credit card, you are forced to pay for full cover, which more than doubles the price. This happened to me three times, for each Goldcar company: Goldcar, Rhodium and Interrent.
Pros: We've never been treated so poorly - nothing we liked
Cons: - Rude staff, immediately started shouting when we returned the car and claiming we had incurred fees without listening to us - Staff withheld information (i.e. read the T&Cs but we won't tell you) - Car covered in dents- first car we were assigned had dangerous wheel damage that we're lucky we spotted - Overall the conduct of Rhodium has been clearly that of a scam company and staff that are used to extortion.
Pros: I didn’t like the fact that car is using petroleum instead of diesel, cost more almost doubl vs distance
Pros: Person who helped when I returned the car was pleasant, and efficient.
Cons: Check-in person was rude. I was charged 60% more than what was quoted. The company considered me a “young driver” and charged me an additional 10.5 Euros per day. In the US we get a new driver’s license every few years (every 5 years in my State). Does anyone believe that this company wasn’t aware of the fact that American’s renew their licenses regularly? Their terms and conditions were ambiguous, at best. I’ve had a license for 45 years! Driven 1.5 million kilometers. This Company is a joke.
Cons: Being asked for 2.5 euros per day for a diesel car. When I said I would take a petrol car they said they had none. Car had done 80000 Klms. Shouted at by rental agent.
Cons: Waited over an hour for the shuttle. Was charged new driver surcharge since my license was renewed within the last year.
