Cons: It's a scam. They ask you to provide a CC where they would block a large amount of money 6 months. The amount blocked can be 3000 euros. Unclear if your CC company would ask you to pay it and eventually refund it. The alternative is to pay about 1.5 the price of your rental for 'an insurance'.

Pros: Terrible experience with the compeny pricecarz in Romania its a scam , price looks good in the start but you will be charged for extra later ! They try to find minor defects at the car after you return it . Also they try to sell you insurance that you already have from discovery cars in a price that is more than double the price of the rent ... not a recommended car rental compeny .

Cons: 1) A very large deposit (£1900) is taken off credit card (ie not a hold). They take 90 days to refund any deposit after the trip, I am still waiting for mine 2) The car hire is initially cheap but the business model is to charge huge amounts of money for tiny scratches. I had full insurance (and also painfully demonstrated that the scratches were present pre-hire). They refuse to inspect the car in return but wait for it to go through the car wash and then unilaterally apply charges (900 EUR).

Pros: The guys at pick up and drop off were very nice

Cons: Trying to push additional insurance package despite the one already paid online and charge clients for preexisting damages. I am actually expecting the invoice for "damages" like couple chips on the windshield and scratches that were already on the car. The car was not that clesn on the exterior and the windshield was being damaged at the pick up. Scratches all over on the doors, bumpers, top of the car. Hope will finish very quickly so that I can send you the invoice for the "claimed damages".

Cons: They charge 100s of Euros for tiny scratches. The renter must have an insurance cover. The pickup from the airport is not convenient: need to call, not clear where is the pick-up spot, etc... The station's agents are inefficient: they give me a worse car than I ordered. Also, they tried three different credit cards until they succeeded in taking the deposit (I never had such experience with other agencies) - this seems to me as a scam to convince a client to buy their insurance.

Pros: I was not allowed to pick up my vehicle as my credit card had my married name on it. I showed my marriage certificate and all my other cards but they just used it as an excuse to sell €80 euros worth of insurance. So I left the car and just used taxis.

Cons: They actually didn’t honor the reservation. Arrived a few hours late, due to flight delay. Like that wasn’t enough aggravation for us, Pricecarz didn’t have the car at the rate we booked it for. It was cancelled after 2 hours we were supposed to pick up. They offered to give us a car for more than 3 times the original agreed cost. DiscoverCars.com was contacted but never responded to this day, 21 days later. I would not recommend either if you want to have a predictable/agreed on outcome.

Cons: I had to credit with two credit frames. The overall credit frame that I needed for the car was €2800 and I didn’t want to finish all my credit frame on the car so I asked to separate the Payments to different cards they could not do that.

Cons: If you don't take the company's insurance, the front desk representative makes you feel unwelcome. They take a higher deposit than usual, and threaten that if the car gets the slightest scratch they will charge a minimum of 400 euros for each. They even require that you return the vehicle after washing it, so that it will be easier for them to find it. When you return the vehicle, they look for "that tiny scratch" extra carefully.

It was very briefly inspected by the sales person, pretending to make 5-8 photos of places I indicated where damage was present, but in fact only put one photo in the prior-damage report. I myself made photos too. * Upon return two scratches. One place was already scratched as could be seen on my photos at pick up time.

He maintained the vehicle was too dirty. We had hired the car for x10 days and it had some road dust on it only. We suggested he clean the car, we would wait, but this was not possible as their car wash was closed. We did not like leaving the car without being present during the inspection.

And don't say I didn't check... I sent an email ahead of time to the place and asked - will there be additional charges? They answered confidently - it would not be.

Pros: The car was clean. But the tank wasn't full (neither GPL nor petrol) and it wasn't really the car we'd reserved. Eventually they managed to pick us up at the airport and get us to the rental office-- though this wasn't seamless. Everyone was very nice and presentable, of course-- but that's to be expected.

This was probably my worst experience with a rental car company in my whole life.

Cons: They were the worst service I ever had in my life. I arrived with a group of friends almost midnight and they invented that I couldn’t get the car cause my driver license wasn’t recognizable by them and want meet to pay the 250 pounds more to get full insurance. After all that, I gave up getting the car with them and went for a different agency where the accepted my driver license with no problem and no extra cost. This was probably my worst experience with a rental car company in my whole life.

Pros: There was no one to talk to. I had to cancel the reservation and order from another company, a very unpleasant experience that ruined my entire vacation

After an hour of brainwashing, intimidation and mirroring, we left with a price more than double the initial price and a very strong feeling that they worked for us. also the vehicle must be returned to the rental in exactly the condition we received it, including washing and cleaning

Cons: This company tried very hard to make me buy their insurance even i told them I have purchased the full insurance. And at the time of returning the car they told me that because of the car is dirty ( it was snowing all the time), so they couldn’t make the inspection, refused to cancel the deposit money unless I bring the car out again for a car wash which finally I had to do as they asked.

Cons: Awful service. I've been charged without a real reason for not real damage. When I asked to speak with a manager, I've been told that there us no manager, and if I want, I can write an email. To be short, the staff was awful. I ordered Toyota RAV4 4x4, because I wanted to travel in mountains and drive at snowed road and becausewe are 5 person family with lot of luggage. Instead of it I got a Seat Ateca, smaller car without 4x4. I been charged the same price!

Cons: upon receipt of the car, they tried to sell us additional insurance for 100 euros for scratches. after we refused, it was clear that upon surrender we would have a scratch on the car. and so it happened - on a dirty car on the side mirror, they found a scratch measuring 7 millimeters, which could not be found upon receipt. I'm sure they know exactly where the scratches are in order to get their 100 euros, which they lost when selling additional insurance. it really ruined the rental experience

Cons: Lots of scratches on the car. None were noted since the car was borrowed from a sister company. Extremely dirty interior seats/probably previous damage. I was offended. I did not want a diesel. It was the only option for an automatic. I was asked to explain every scratch with pictures..it was humiliating to explain the inside. We did not even touch the back of the car, I felt accused for not taking pictures of it as if the company did not know what they gave me..car drove very well, no problems.

Cons: I did not like that I had to call them 4 days after drop off to release my deposit which was supposed to be released after 48 hours.

Cons: They check for the minutest of scratches and flaws on the exterior of the car, something I have found no other company do across the globe. They charged $ 250 for a tiny scratch that no rental agency does. It is just a way of offering the lowest prices and making it up by such arbitrary and unethical charges. Either choose full insurance or be ready to pay for such charges which their employees levy if they find that you have not taken full insurance.

Condition of the car: The gear box and front suspension was tired. The drivers side headlight blub was blown and the wipers were too worn to properly remove water. 3. Prize cars instructed me to clean the car before I returned it. 4. The seatbelts in the airport transfer vehicle did not work.

Pros: Car was delivered an hour late, on return the examination of the car was outrageous, like they must find something!! And indeed they claimed that few microscopic scratches were new and required fixing.. never seen something like that in over 40 years as renter. Then the deposit was not released for few days .. giving a very bad taste overall…

Pros: I rented the car from PriceCarz using discoverscars.com. Fare price, excellent car. Taking the car and returning it were very efficient. Great staff. When I landed in Bucharest, I called them and they came to take me from the airport to their rental location which is 5 minutes drive away from the terminal. When I returned the car, they took me back to the departure terminal.

Cons: They don't have a rental desk at the landing terminal, but only 5 minutes away from the terminal. That's not a big issue because the come to pick you up from the terminal and they drop you off at the terminal upon car return

Pros: Oana (the rental agent) was very friendly and professional. She explained everything in detail from terms and conditions to extras and insurances. I got an upgrade so in the end turned out to be a very good deal. Car was working perfectly having in mind that I drove few hundreds of km in two weeks. Be sure to take videos and pictures of the car when you rent it because when I came back I have been asked about most of the dents and scratches that were already there. Saved by the videos.

Cons: The security deposit is a bit high having in mind that even if it's released by Pricecarz once you get the car it still takes up to 30 days for banks to process it and for the release of the amount on the card.

Cons: Had to call them up to find them, didn't realise they weren't at the airport but they offered a pick-up and drop-off service. Would have been more of an issue if I couldn't ring them with my network provider.

The staff was not properly trained, contract listed wrong drop off time and did not include baby seats I've ordered. 4. Upon drop off, representative Diana I. was absolutely rude and impolite. For every reasoning given regarding the damage I've been accused in, the final answer was "It is your problem".

Pros: The agents did the extra mile to try to help me.

Cons: You have only 2 hours to pick up the reserved car. They don't mind about delayed flight or any trouble you have arriving to such a far destination.

We mixed my creditcard with the one of my husband and the payment machine didn't mention that the pin number entered was wrong (like most machines do). so we tried the pin number confused why the machine kept asking the pin number until we blocked it and then couldn't leave a deposit on my husband's credit card. so they refused to take my card and they obliged us to take an insurance with them even thought our credit card was covering it.

Cons: The car had about +90k miles (it’s about 150k KM) and had (as expected for that mileage) lots of scratches/dents. At pickup, the agent said they don’t have any records of any damage for the car and suggested I shouldn’t worry since I am fully insured. If we were to mark all damage on the paper, we would have filled the page. Luckily I took pictures (lots) at pickup and was able to justify some scratches/dents they “discovered” during the drop-off check. For me, this approach raises some concerns
