Pros: Discover Car service was perfect. BUT tje one from the provider. Funchal Drive, was terrible. The tank was not even a quarter full, we had to pay for the airport parking to get out because their office was closed, and even after having paid the 35 euros extra for out of office service. And they charged us for damage under the car when, after taking pictures, all cars were damage at the same place. They even tried to ask us money for upgrade because they did not have the car we booked.
Cons: Funchal Drive provided the worst client service I ever experienced.

Many highways in mainland Portugal are tolled using only electronic means.
All rental vehicles are equipped with a transponder that can be used for paying for all toll roads.
You’ll be charged a service fee of 2.15 EUR per day up to a maximum of 21.53 EUR per rental in addition to the tolls, which will be charged to your credit card after the rental period.
You may also be required to leave an additional deposit for tolls.
An E-toll charge will apply; personal consumption will be charged separately at the end of the rental period.
