Cons: Car broke down. We lost a day of vacation waiting for tow truck, getting our own taxi, getting a new rental in Bilbao airport. Europcar agents at airport said they couldn’t help us with taxi reimbursement and call center customer service said we should ask airport agents. Classic customer service infinite loop. Cons: Discover cars need to make it clear that the car is only kept for one hour, whatever the client's circumstances. Flight delays happen. And the insurance provided by the website is not worth purchasing at all.

Cons: EVERYTHING In addition to the extortionist fees, I was also ignored at the front desk for over 10 minutes. I checked in at the kiosk and stood in front of the counter, like five feet away. One agent helped a customer while the other agent did nothing. It took a third agent walking by me three times to tell him to help me at the counter. He was incredibly rude, condescending, dismissive and a jerk. I was with a small child in a foreign country and had no time to try to figure out an altern

Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): EU.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: flight information.
Deposit and deductible policy

Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.


Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Winter tires are not mandatory in Spain.
Business hours
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 59 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
