Thrifty at Barcelona Airport

Pros: Excellent as always

Pros: Price

Cons: Terrible car make / model

Pros: quick pick up and drop off

Cons: was tolod by agent that car had no scratches or dents but upon checking this clearly was not true

Cons: misleading insurance scam even i bought and show them i have full cover' they say i dont and if there is damage less then 1700 urao i have to pay

Cons: Car had scratches which were not documented.

Pros: The pick up was straight forward and swift. Drop off was the same and dealt with a cool staff member!

Pros: Nice car

Cons: Forced me to upgrade to a car I didn’t want, and didn’t order

Cons: They insisted on using a credit card not debit card. Whilst this was listed in the ts and cs, other companies use debit card with no problem. Efforts to add my wife as the main driver and use her credit card were refused as they only were interested in who made the original booking. It felt like they were trying to catch people out and I saw other customers arguing about similar situations

Pros: Nothing

Cons: The agent was the worst human I have ever met. So unhelpful verging on rude.

Pros: Fairly efficient when we finally found it.

Cons: I paid and booked for an SUV but was given a compact car. The agent told me they are the same size. The discover cars instructions say the rental desk is in the terminal. We arrived at terminal 1 and there was no desk. Other rental companies told us we had to go to terminal 2, with all our bags and primary school aged children. At terminal 2 there is no desk, public information told us where to go, outside the terminal. This was stressful and added a long time to our trip.

Pros: Friendly and efficient

Cons: 8 days later and I’m still waiting for my deposit of €1000 back. This really should be 3-5 working days max.

Pros: nothing

Cons: snuck extra fees onto our booking for an SUV booking orffered a Ford Focus - then charged to upgrade

Cons: Difficult to find the return point

Pros: As described. Good car.

Cons: Car was dirty on the outside

Pros: Reasonable price and decent car

Cons: Didn't state which terminal to collect from so wasted time trying to find it. Not great when my partner is disabled. Expected to take our own photos and do our own inspection of the car before taking it. Not ideal in the rain. Only one person available to deal with the returns

Pros: Valerie was brilliant for drop off as we were late finding the drop off location

Cons: Drop off location was hard to get to in T2 and no desk in T1 at Barcelona

Pros: Friendly service

Cons: Everything was good

Pros: لI can't get to the building where they are When I arrived, the office was closed, knowing that I chose the pick-up and delivery times, and I was not contacted about the appointments. They do not work 24 hours.

Cons: لI can't get to know them until I evaluate their services

Pros: Quick and easy

Cons: Only thing I didnt like was I was prompted to get insurance prior to getting the car, only to discover it wasn't the insurance from fire fly. Not fire flys fault.

Pros: Open, honest, friendly - no gimmicky nonsense.

Cons: All good. Zero complaints

Pros: Nice vehicle, great price but above everything their customer service is great, specially Eugenia, she's lovely, professional and super helpful.

Cons: Nothing really!

Pros: ALmost impossible to find the stand. hidden at the end of terminal 2 under a firefly office

Pros: The car was in good condition.

Pros: everything. they were efficient and kind

Cons: nothing

Pros: Straight forward service

Cons: I wasn't aware thrifty was part of hertz, when collecting the car I couldn't find the Thrifty desk, It was by chance I saw the small thrifty logo in the hertz service desk

Pros: Fast pick-up and drop off.

Cons: The car had a serious problem with the tyres and it started to vibrate at 90km/h

Cons: They made me pay for an other insurrance than the one provided by DiscoverCars

Pros: The lady that served us was very helpful and found a baby seat from another hire company (although we had prebooked this)

Cons: Hidden costs were really disappointing. The car had my husband as the named driver but I booked using my card in the UK but couldn’t complete the transaction in Spain which meant we had to pay an additional €150 which was really disappointing and we won’t be booking with Firefly again. Always hidden costs.

Pros: Very friendly representative during the rental

Cons: Hidden charges having to pay an extra 90 euros for insurance after I had already paid for the extra cover

Pros: It's awful, I never will rent a car from this company again, staff didn't listen you and don't properly explain

Cons: We were given an unclean car not yet serviced, it was that or wait 2 hours past our booking time to collect a serviced car. The staff were rude and put the hard sell on insurance when we had booked full cover with discover cars. We found a scratch on the car on pick up and they were very reluctant to record it as existing even though they had just spent 20minutes telling us it would cost us hundreds of euros per scratch. Overall I would not reccomend Firefly.

Pros: The car was brand new, in excellent condition.

Cons: The rental desk was said to be in the terminal building but it was very hard to find and it didn’t even work. The actual desk was outside, a few hundred meters away

Pros: Nulla. Vergognosi

Cons: Mi hanno addebitato spese che non dovevo pagare e non rispondono alle e-mail per avere spiegazioni. Otre 110 euro.

Pros: Convenient, slight upgrade to 4wd as going to Andorra

Cons: Just one guy for Hertz and Thrifty rental return on busy Saturday

Pros: The collection desk is open till midnight

Cons: I was charged for an order damage on the car. When I picked up the car it was dark and the video that I took it’s not showing anything. An old scratch was not where it should be on the paperwork. I explained that to the lady but she didn’t want to know. A pure rip off. Stay away from Firefly! SCAM

Pros: reasonable price

Cons: border charge quoted differently to final bill, i.e. charged more

Cons: Properté de la voiture et l'odeur. L'état de la carrosserie !

Pros: Quick effecient staff

Cons: Desk was outside the terminal not inside as advertised si took a while to find.

Pros: Friendly, efficient, good English- Stephan (pick up) & Valerie(drop-off)

Cons: All good

Pros: Generally effective

Cons: No one inspected the car on return and it took time for the. Deposit to be paid back

Pros: Not more than 5 minutes to pick-up and drop. You can use Amex to leave a deposit

Cons: The car needed a very small adjustment (wheels alignment and balancing). But the staff quickly promised to look into it

Cons: They don't check the car at check in or drop off. They aren't open at 7am when the drop off was. Should not have booked with them and discover cars should not have listed them. The lot was not in terminal 2

Pros: The ease and the price made renting a car on holiday a breeze

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Everything. Firefly feedback provided directly in their survey and a promise made to contact me within 72 hours to better understand my feedback. No call received 7 days later. Firefly clearly have no interest in customer service, feedback or improvements...that says everything. I would intentionally avoid them in the future and would happily pay more for the same vehicle at a different company.

Pros: new car in great condition

Cons: the fact that I need to photo the car and prove that I am not responsible to any scratch

Pros: Nothing

Cons: The worst company ever.

Pros: Todo estuvo bien

Cons: Ok

Pros: Nothing in particular

Cons: Essentially compelled to get their extra insurance; force you to show petrol receipt at return (within 10km from airport); car was all scratched and damaged

Pros: Good for price

Cons: Was given automatic but had booked manual

Pros: Got a car upgrade as they were out of the one I ordered.

Pros: The car was like new.

Cons: I don’t like when I pick it up. I wanted to pay the deposit with my Apple Pay, I have been told that I need a physical card. This irritates me.

Pros: No people at all. Bad.

Cons: Bad
