Pros: They do a walkthrough with you after returning the car to approve that there are no damages to the car.
Cons: The Barcelona airport agency won't answer phone calls. No way to reach them if you want to inform them that your flight was delayed

Pros: Overall the service was excellent , it was my first time hiring a car and I was a little nervous as I had heard a lot of horror stories, I chose Hertz because of the reputation and I was not disappointed.
Cons: Not much to criticise, car park was a bit tight with a brand new car but other than than , very pleased

Cons: Hetz didn’t give us the car we have choosen during the reservation. We were 3 adults and 1kid with 3 luggages and Hertz gave us a small car. We weren’t satisfied at all.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1200.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Premium Location fee, Vehicle registration fee, State Tax.
Driver requirements

A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.

Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.
Using a ferry is not allowed.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Alternatively, the renter may purchase a tank full of fuel at the time of rental and return the tank empty.
Electric vehicles must be returned with the same battery charge they had when picked up to avoid additional charges (on a per kWh basis). An additional admin fee will be charged if a vehicle is returned with less than 20 % battery charge remaining.
