United States of America (USA)
Peugeot 208
10/5/26

Pros: Relstively easy. Though would have appreciated some help with parking on return since spots are so so small in France

Cons: We were told we had to get a bigger car to fit our luggage. So we got and paid for bigger car but we didn’t really need it. And it made it much more difficult to get in and out of parking spots.
Slovenia
Peugeot 208
8/14/26

Pros: Quick efficient
Australia
Peugeot 2008
9/7/25

Pros: Explained the process well; friendly, helpful and efficient staff.

Cons: For the electric car we rented the staff could provide more information about charging challenges and limitations, such as, it was not comparable with certain charging stations, and it was not designed to be charged at home over night.
Canada
Ford Puma
2/25/25

Pros: Speed of drop off

Cons: Pickup did not have an attendant on site at the car lot... only at the desk which they could not leave. They relied on another vendor to assist us finding the car and could not answer any of our company specific questions.
Brazil
Renault Espace
12/23/24

Cons: The car condion was terrible
Israel
Ford Puma
10/6/24

Pros: They do a walkthrough with you after returning the car to approve that there are no damages to the car.

Cons: The Barcelona airport agency won't answer phone calls. No way to reach them if you want to inform them that your flight was delayed
Hong Kong
BMW X3

Pros: Quick and detailed explanation about how to pick up the car
Ireland
Ford Puma
9/19/23

Pros: Overall the service was excellent , it was my first time hiring a car and I was a little nervous as I had heard a lot of horror stories, I chose Hertz because of the reputation and I was not disappointed.

Cons: Not much to criticise, car park was a bit tight with a brand new car but other than than , very pleased
Algeria
Ford Puma
8/23/23

Cons: Hetz didn’t give us the car we have choosen during the reservation. We were 3 adults and 1kid with 3 luggages and Hertz gave us a small car. We weren’t satisfied at all.

3/16/22

Pros: nothing

Cons: There was nobody at the terminal 2 airport for drop off. So I left the key in a box. Sub Sequentially they charged me for a scratch on the car which was previously there on collection. I have sent details via email but they have failed to respond after 4 days.
