Pros: Easy to use service and friendly staff. The car was fine. Pick up and drop off at airport service was good

Cons: When we made the booking we selected fully comprehensive insurance but the excess was €5000 when we picked up the car they tried to get us to take out their insurance on top of the one we'd paid for which seemed to be the same cover. It was quite confusing so we just declined it. I suggest just offer one excellent insurance with less excess.

Cons: It's a little inconvenient not to have a desk at the airport, and to have to call to pick up the car, since I'm travelling from overseas and have to either use data roaming or buy a NZ SIM card to make a call from/to the airport.

Pros: Relatively easy pick up and drop off process.

Cons: The office is much further away from the airport than most rental companies. The office is unkempt and uninviting. The car was not deodorised and carried a strong vomit like smell that lasted for the full duration of the hire. Breaks were squeaky.

Cons: 1. Pickup time is a bit longer than expected ; 2. Car is more than 3 year older, front tyres are a bit thin, a few dents on the body and scratches on a windscreen ; 3. No car mats inside, it makes it a bit slippery on a foot to shift between break and accelerator ; 4. Car snow chains hire at $30 is more than other car rentals' charge at $20.

Pros: Mint Rentals in Auckland was great. Service was wonderful.

Cons: A Rentals in Queenstown was not reliable. When dropping off the car before our flight, the office was closed. We called multiple times to customer service but got directed to someone in Auckland. They could not get a hold of the person in Queenstown. We waited over 40 minutes and was worried we would missed our flight home. We eventually decided to just leave the car there and call a taxi. When we did, the agent arrived, did not apologize and just told us he was sleeping. This was 10AM.
