Pros: The thoroughness and helpfulness of the agent
Cons: The mess created by Discover Cars.
Cons: i sense i received a vehicle which was lower cost to BLUU and the vehicle i booked was rented out at higher cost to others. I selected a SUV for ease of travel, movement within the cabin whenever required, especially in the Kruger park where you can't exit your vehicle to access something in the back of the vehicle. I had a double cab, and to access anything in the back you have to leave the vehicle.
Pros: The service manager/supervisor was friendly.
Cons: Did not receive the class of vehicle booked.
Cons: Car was very basic. Underpowered and low level of equipment. For example there wasn't the normal three indicators when you touch the indicator stick. No controls on the steering wheel. No cruise control etc.
Pros: Easy to return the car.
Cons: Extremely Poor service at pick-up.

Cons: I was not asked if I wanted loads of extra insurance add one. I would have declined and it wasn't clear from the contract when I signed. But my own fault. Should have been more on the ball. Still feel it was underhanded though.
Pros: Initially I Did not get the equivalent of the Audi A4 I was promised instead was offered an A3 on arrival and my luggage at hand could not fit in the A3. Requesting for an equivalent class meant I was charged extra which is annoying as it was considered as an upgrade.
Cons: Service was fantastic and the representative was very friendly and accommodative and did an exceptional job to rectify the above-mentioned problem.

Cons: Everyone agreed that I should not have been charged what I was (I assume mileage was incorrectly included) but everyone passed me on and will not deal with it

Cons: I had booked a Toyota Fortuner or similar but when I picked the car up I was given a Mahindra XUV, which I definitely do not think is even close to being in the same class as a Toyota Fortuner . On my booking it said Full to Full for the fuel, but upon picking up the car I was advised to not fill the car up and Bluu would charge my card later and also charge me R40 to refuel the car.
Pros: Honesty: iPad returned to us
Pros: I have been charged 3x the amount quoted and pre-paid, in error. I was charged as a local instead of international, for mileage, which is not acceptable and now I have to spend days following up to rectify.
Cons: Appalling error, resulting in time consuming AND EXPENSIVE administration FROM LONDON.

Cons: Although I filled the car with petrol at the airport petrol station( and the attendant confirmed and showed me the vehicle was full), I was charged for 9.12 liters and a handling charge.

Cons: Due to the lack of electricity cuts and not the fault of BLUU, a backup system to speed up the process of checking out would make a smooth and short time waiting at the airport
Pros: Nothing really because I wasn't allowed to take the car with me hence refund request which I was denied and told to contact the third party to request it
Cons: Fact that they refused to hand me the car because I was using a TTD which wouldn't make any difference because I had all the other relevant documents eg Full UK drivers licence
Cons: Lots of undocumented damage on the car, including severely chipped windscreen. I had to spend time reporting to the representative the extra damage on pickup!

Cons: We filled the car at the on airport fuel station and drove straight to Bidvest On arrival their operative explained that they had no luggage trolleys so he would drive us to departures - seemed very kind Until we got home and reviewed a bill for 3.9 litres of fuel plus a refuelling charge This is a scam and will not use bidvest again
Pros: When we realised that the car was too small for us, we returned to the office and the supervisor and new customer service agent were very helpful.
Cons: The first customer service agent was rude and spoke to us like idiots when we queried all the documentation. Having had a hassle free rental in Cape Town with another company, we didn’t understand why things were different and he was unhelpful and impatient!

Cons: Even though I paid for full insurance with DicoverCarHire, when i arrived to collect my car I was told that in the event of an accident or theft i would have to pay some huge amount and then try to reclaim it from you. not and ideal situation and one that is not made clear when book with you. then Bidvest kept telling me that in future I should book direct with them and to forget about DiscoverCarHire. they were not interested in the fact that i had paid fill insurance with DiscoverCarHire.

Cons: The friendly young agent did well, but knew little about road maps or the roads to a popular destination, Kruger. The fault lies with TRAINING. Secondly the drop sign for BIdvest is small and poorly located at Oliver Tambo, so that we missed it and had to re-circuit around. The actual drop once reached was very efficient
