Not a good customer service.

Clearly Bargain's staff were 'well-trained' on the upsell, but also how to hassle customers without the premium insurance about very minor damage (e.g., light scratches, small dents) and line them up for claims. Cons: all good

Pros: Car was as specified online, pick arrangements worked well and car was ready to go.

Cons: Rental handover form was not filled in properly. Ie a number of significant scratches and even 1 small dent in drivers side door were not noted on the pickup form. Instead we were told to photograph it - which is hard to do in direct sunlight due to reflection. More to point - is hire car company's responsibility to fill in such paperwork properly - not leave it to a possible disagreement when we drop the car off. As it turned out - the drop off inspection went very smoothly.

Pros: Friendly and efficient. Shuttle bus service was friendly and prompt.

Pros: Car was clean and ready for us although we had to wait a while to get served as they had picked up people from the airport just before we arrived by taxi.

Cons: Had to get a taxi from Accommodation in Cairns to depot to pick up car as they would only do pick ups from airport. Our flight arrived in Cairns late at night when depot was closed.

Cons: Hidden costs. Budget car seat. Car wasn't a luxury car just a standard audi. No different than any other car rental place.

Pros: Good value compared to other car rentals. Great service provided with the shuttle bus to and from the airport. Easy pick up and return.

Cons: Some of the damage to the car was not marked on my documents at pickup. Although I raised this with the desk staff they said not to worry. So I took photos of the damage. However, throughout my hire period I was concerned that when I returned the car that this damage would be attributed to me, despite me reporting this damage to staff prior to leaving the car yard.

Pros: My wife left her handbag in shuttle bus when arriving at the airport ,Driver did everything possible to locate her

Cons: Misunderstanding about a full tank of fuel being charged at beginning of hire returned with a 3rd of a tank but no compensation /allowance made for this.

Cons: Very difficult time coordinating shuttle service from the airport; agents from Sixt were actually kind enough to direct us and help. The car was not full at pick-up, when I mentioned this to the agent at Bargain she told me “Nothing I can do about that”. The car was dirty inside with crumbs on the console, in the seat, dirty windshield on the inside. Called their office and would have the call automatically drop due to being on hold “too long” when the customer doesn’t control hold times.
