Alma Car Hire at Kefalonia Airport

Pros: The staff at this location were exemplary. They were friendly, helpful & reassuring. Spent time with us checking the car on pick up and return, pointing out all existing damage and confirming no problems on return. Usually we’ve been left to do this by ourselves and in the pitch black! Thank you guys!

Pros: Team were very friendly and helpful. They took to time to review the car at collection and were transparent with all the faults. They were very efficient at drop off on reviewing the car. They also ensured we were comfortable with the car and knew how everything worked.

Pros: Easy to get the car and return it. The car was in a very good condition. Also, I got extra 3 hours for free without being charged.

Cons: I didn't get the car I wanted. It is true it was written Skoda Fabia or similar. So they respected the contract. However, it is nice to get the car that you wanted and not a similar one.

Pros: After a few days they replaced teh car with something more suitable.

Cons: Provided a very old car with poor brakes and no power. I did not feel safe driving the car with my family onboard.

Cons: I was given an extremely old car. The seatbelt broke off from the socket, whilst we were driving. I felt completely vulnerable

Pros: Very friendly staff, didn't try to sell me anything extra, which is unusual for all car hire companies in my experience. Had a really good joint inspection of the car.

Cons: A bit of a walk from the airport building to drag cases (uphill) and no proper footpath to get there, had to be very careful with traffic.

Pros: Staff were kind and considerate, came to our aid when we got a flat tyre. The car hire company was easy to find and easy to arrange.

Cons: Our car was a 7 seater booked for 6 people however it had very little oomph which was tricky when navigating the hills of kefalonia.

I emailed you twice and phoned during the rental period. I complained to the provider on return.

Cons: The building/company I was looking for had a different name. It is next to Ikarus Restaurant on the right as you head away from the airport. The windscreen wipers were shot and virtually useless. Air conditioning causes condensation on the outside of the windscreen at night.

Pros: The staff were efficient and friendly and we were quickly away with the car on arrival and return was completed in 5 minutes.

Cons: The car was a junker, they didn't have my booking on their system as it hadn't been confirmed by Discover, despite several confirmation emails to myself.

Cons: First car had major issues with the brakes. We brought it back and the person in charge played it down. We received the same model as a replacement. Also with the second car many issues as some sensors didn’t work properly, this caused a lot of unnecessary time spent and headache. Moreover, the “manager” of the car rental was very arrogant. VERY UNSATISFIED OVERALL

Pros: Place was easy to find right by the airport. Staff were friendly, car was waiting to be picked up. Price was reasonable however that is reflected by the car which i wouldn’t class as brand new but that works for me, not constantly worried about a brand new car.
