AddCar at Kefalonia Airport

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Very poor service. They gave me an old, low-power, scratched car. After few days i realized that the car has tires that do not fit between themselves and not to car specification. And i had to convince them that this is not safe !! After 2 days of talks, they gave me another vehicle, but i had to convince them that there is a problem.

Pros: Absolutely company along with Discover car- one or the other is lying and trying to con customers! Saying car rentals have been cancelled, not refunding tourists and cheating them for another rental!

Cons: See above

Pros: poor from start to finish

Cons: No air con in car Fuel not filled up to max Everything was an argument with staff at add car.

Pros: Value for money

Cons: See initial comment, moreover PANDA FIAT is usually a poor car

Pros: Close to terminal.

Cons: Only given a 2 door car, not 4 door as booked. Central locking didn’t work. Printer didn’t work in rental office so was not given a copy of the rental agreement. They said they would email it to me but the attachment didn’t open.

Pros: Great service

Pros: What a great company and staff will recommend to others 👌

Cons: Just so helpful great team

Pros: Relaxed and friendly service

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Everything - booking, pickup/dropoff, car, cost all 100%

Cons: Nothing - perfect service!

Pros: Always quick and efficient.

Pros: Very good, the flight was delayed and arrived at closing time but this was no problem

Cons: We ordered a small four door car but it only had two with no central locking. Went well though.

Pros: Friendly no nonsense pick up and drop off.

Pros: Once the staff found out that my daughter was getting married in Kefalonia they went out of their way to help us by giving us a free upgrade to a lovely car that we could use for the wedding

Pros: Efficient. Collection and drop off were quick

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Easy to find and pick up speed was 5 minutes.

Pros: The car was ok

Cons: They did not want to accept my credit debit card, even if there were sufficient resources to cover the deposit, they didn't even try it, immediately refused. Luckyli, my husband's card had only credit written on it and not debit, so for an extra fee of 70 eur! we could use his card, they added him as 2nd driver. It took a lot of time and nerves, actually, to solve this. The agent said else he will not give me the car. I said ok but then I want back the money I paid for rent in advance..said no

Pros: Great experience! Best value for money and perfect service: the fastest in getting and returning the car, deposit quickly released, very kind staff. The office was easy to find and close to the airport. I would definitely recommend.

Pros: Quick collection / return

Cons: Car old and poor condition

Cons: Two vehicles and not everything worked on either

Pros: All good.

Cons: It was all good.

Pros: Polite efficient staff

Cons: Nothing, used them before and will use again

Pros: The staff were great. Very quick checking out the car and returning it.

Cons: The car was very old. It needed servicing, as it often misfired and lost power. The radio was unusable, the trip and milometer didn't change at all. We actually managed to return the car with less mileage than when we picked it up. That being said, it got us around in relative comfort for 2 weeks and the A/C worked great.

Cons: Agreement was Full to Full but vehicle was on 0 at pickup. No real problem though… fuel station was within yards and whilst it’s much easier to give it back full we didn’t mind losing out on a few euros of fuel as we handed it back fractionally above 0

Pros: Good staff, good car, good VfM

Cons: Better directions to the office would help as it's 200yds up the road out of the airport ~ so had to ask airport staff the way to the office.

Pros: Friendly and ridiculously good value. The car had a lot of miles, but everything worked as it should . Ideal for the greek roads

Pros: Very friendly staff.

Pros: Friendly and professional collection process

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Quick pick up and close to airport

Pros: Friendly service on picking up and dropping off. Very quick

Pros: Price and very friendly staff

Cons: The car was very basic and quite old. The clutch was very worn. Also the bodywork was scratched in numerous places so we had to take a lot of photos on collection

Pros: Friendly and efficient staff spoke good English explained everything clearly.

Cons: The car was about 10years old

Pros: We get same car we ordered. By the end of the day, we cant start the car, since accumulator was gone. We call the company, and after less then 10 min we get help, someone come to start the accumulator. We droved back to the rent company, they gave us a new car, and we switched back to our car in the morning after they change to new accumulator. We visited Kefalonia in April, and there were no visitors at winter, that's probably why we had an issue with the car. But everything was fixed quickly.

Pros: Very friendly and polite agent at the airport.

Pros: Easy, booking, easy collection & drop-off- Hassle free rental

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Er was een alarm teken op display in dashbord wat brande. Ik heb contact gezocht en ik werd zowel telefonisch als via mail snel op de hoogte gebracht van de betekenis en gevolgen

Pros: First class service and lovely car. When I got a puncture they arranged breakdown which arrived in fifteen minutes !

Pros: Add car did not have the booking

Cons: Add car had no record of the booking via Discover cars.con

Cons: Car was quite old

Pros: The vehicle was in a poor condition considerably damaged, including damaged exhaust.

Pros: Car condition: tired with the heating control panel loose hinging into the dashboard when trying to operate the heating control.wheel trims not fixed for the RSF causing charge for loosing it while driving in the mountains.

Pros: Friendly efficient staff

Cons: Car was quite old, but it worked fine and was expected as it was cheaper than most

Pros: Pick up and drop off close to the airport

Cons: The car was a mess horn - AC - central locking was not working - front bumper was damaged - car paint work - very poor condition- throughout- wheels trim missing and the fan belt constantly squeaking - when I asked for a different hire car the on country sales rep - was very rude - blaming his manager - stormed off and did not return. We were left with no choice but to take the car - absolutely awful customer experience after a very long day to get to Kefalonia

Pros: There are no positives besides the price I could mention.

Cons: 1. The agent made me pay before I saw the contract. 2. I did not see the car before signing the contract and seeing what damage the car already has. 3. he showed me only what licence plate the car has, gave me the key and showed me the direction of the parking lot. 3. The car had a weird smell. 4. The key was falling appart and glued together badly with electrical tape. It was unfolding and kept my fingers sticky everytime I touched the key. 5. The car squeeked and the tyres were worn…

Pros: Everything was very good. I liked that the agent was quick, both at rental intake and when returning the car.

Pros: Efficiency

Cons: Friendliness is not their strong point but it is something common in the island !

Pros: Cheap and efficient.

Cons: Not very personal.

Pros: very fast take and delivery .

Cons: agreement was full to full reservoir and it was same to same . and sprinkler windshield doesn t work. and credit card deposit.

Pros: Quick and efficient with decent car

Cons: Not real friendly and a tough uphill walk with luggage.

Pros: Location to airport

Cons: The gent was not that helpful I didn’t think. When I collected car i was concerned at all the bumps and scratches on it but he just said to take photos to prove it was like that. When I retuned the car I told him that the windscreen washer did not work and I’d have to carry a bottle of water with me and keep cleaning it, again he didn’t seem interested. Paid a lot of money and felt the car was old and battered both inside and out. Not value for money at all. RIP off to be honest,

Pros: Quick service.

Cons: Not particularly helpful on pick up. Other rental companies give out water due to the heat.

Pros: Sono stati gentili e veloce

Pros: The service provided by AddCar was first class. The cost was by far the lowest on offer, but there was no lack of quality due to this. The cost for 19 days hire was less than some of the other companies were quoting for 3 or 4 days alone. The staff at AddCar were polite, happy and eager to please. Both the pick up and return were hassle free and the car, although a bit older than some companies, was clean, reliable and perfect for my needs, with the size of car as promised.

Cons: No issues at all.

Cons: That the insurance is covered by a third party and needs to be claimed after.

Pros: First class. Very easy.

Pros: Makis the manager very good.

Pros: I had needed a 5 seater and it was only a 4 seater we were picking people up from the airport so was a bit of an issue

Pros: Helped out explaining everything.

Cons: Nothing really more the car A/C only working on full power

Pros: Everything was fine the only thing I didnt like was that we had to wait for like 40min upon arrival because there was only one person at the receptuon desk. But thats not that big thing, beside that was everything smooth.

Pros: Liked the speed

Cons: Dont like the hassle of the confusion of additional insurance. Your almost too scared to drive away

Pros: Friendly service, good car, confidence

Pros: Staff very friendly and efficient

Cons: Car was not cleaned very well, tyre warning light on and wiper blades worn out.

Pros: Easy and friendly

Pros: Top rate team who provided every assistance to someone with mobility difficulties.

Cons: Couldn't fault them!

Pros: Relatively organised and efficient

Cons: Car needed a clean and numerous little bumps/scratches which needed checking over. ran fine though

Pros: Met at airport by two lovely lads and they even took amour bags to the hotel !

Cons: Tank wasn’t full on pick up but we filled it up on departure anyway

Pros: Addcar were great. DiscoverCars not so much.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: The car was difficult to drive with a terrible clutch. I complained but the car was not replaced. The office was up was up the hill outside the airport and with cases was difficult to reach. Picking up the car took a long with no explanation as to why.

Pros: They were fair and reasonable about understanding 'under car' damage/issue, which we didn't spot when we picked the car up.

Pros: efficiency

Cons: price ;(

Pros: straight forward. yet i reserve this comment until the deposit is returned in full. 8 days after returning the car it hadn't yet been returned

Cons: i asked for a written statement to be made on the back of teh contract that the deposit will be returned in full, but i was refused

Pros: Quick responses when emailing about changing our booking. Great customer service when collecting and dropping off.

Cons: Car was a little old compared to similar prices for cars we have rented elsewhere.

Cons: The car that we hired as soon as we drove it there was a problem with the radiator so we had to go back and get the tank of the radiator filled up. The staff were a bit blasé about it. We will stick to our usual rentals in the future which is CBR.

Pros: Nothing apart from the speed of the drop off.

Cons: Argumentative staff, unhelpful. The cost of a very poor car for the week was hugely excessive.

Pros: Everthing

Cons: Nothing

Pros: quick and easy

Pros: Quick service at the pick up and drop off

Cons: I wish automatic transition was a cheaper as I would highly recommend it while in Kefalonia hilly roads

Pros: No hard sale to buy expensive insurance, they did exactly what it said on the tin!

Cons: Car was rather old battered but it did the job.

Pros: Poor service. Manager yelling at me calling m E a liar. Refusing to refund me my petrol. Charging me the deposit of £1200 rather than holding against my card

Cons: Car broke down on the way to my holiday destination. All electrics cut out and could not even open the boot. After 32 phone calls i cot Addcar to call a mechanic who arrived 2.5 hours later. The problem with Addcar is that nobody gave a damn about me or my wife. We arrived at thaw holiday destination at 00.20 some 4 hours late.

Pros: Good value no catches

Pros: Efficient and friendly staff.

Cons: Resolved issue with car quickly.

Pros: Price and location.

Cons: Desk agent didn't seem particularly friendly as compared to the agent I worked with at a different agency. Car was definitely weaker than the same car model I used from a different agency.

Pros: Kind and friendly

Pros: Quick service, no hassle and payment on collection

Pros: As above.

Cons: No complaints about service. No map provided which was a 1st. And its an up hill treck from the airport terminal so my advice if you have heavy cases is to leave them at the terminal and go back for them with the car.

Pros: nothing

Cons: the car was bad the brakes where rubbing, the gear stick was falling apart, it only had one working windscreen wiper, when I pointed this out to them they did not car, they just wanted to rip me off.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Rude abrupt reception, with a gang of heavies giving you the evil eye constantly making you feel intimidated

Pros: Very efficient

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Radio didn't work but no a real issue. Seat height could not be adjusted but overall value for money. Would use again as car fine for location and use.

Pros: Bringing it back was quick

Cons: charged more than expected, didnt have booking details, car very poor with lots of dents, service light on and creaked loudly everytime it went round a corner

Pros: Good fast, friendly service

Cons: All Good

Pros: easy service

Pros: Price, car delivery and drop off

Cons: The guarantee money I had to block on my credit card, although I purchased a Full insurance coverage. Moreover, I still did not receive the money back after 4 days.

Pros: I rent the car from Kefalonia and drop it off to Zakinthos, in both cases it was easy to find the office but the office at Kefalonia is 1 km up hill walk from the airport which isn’t easy special with suitcases but this is not a big deal, the problem it was the car itself. It was dirty. The key fob it wasn’t working. The daytime running lamp it wasn’t working. The steering wheel shook when you braked over 80kmph.

Cons: The 2 hours delay i had when i arrived at kefalonia. I forgot my driver license but mu wife had her license. So we just want to change the driver. We paid 5 euros extra per day. Thats fine and fair enough but the behavior of rental agents that told us they can’t change the driver because of the application i did from Cyprus. The lies also they told us about police in the island and the problems we will find if we will have an accident and the compensation we will have to pay is unacceptable.

Pros: Friendly, professional service. Fast and organised, with no upselling insurance etc. They offered us a beach umbrella to use which was a life saver! I even put a small scratch on a bumper and they simply wished me a good flight home, with no extra charges. Will be back again for sure.

Cons: Everything was top notch.

Pros: Friendly, reliable service. No surprises.

Cons: There is nothing I didn't like.

Pros: Very competitive price, good service and car was fine.

Cons: nothing

Pros: Addcar absolutely fantastic. Petros is a gentleman and someone to be completely trusted. Great car. Great price. Great service.

Cons: Brilliant. Petros and the team are tops. Don’t go anywhere else. They speak Greek and English and they are really caring and respectful. Great car. Great service. I will never use anyone else.

Pros: Friendly and efficient

Pros: Easy to book and collect Friendly and efficient staff

Cons: A head light bulb was out so we called at the office about 3pm. They were shut so called the number given which wasn't local. The lady said she would call me back in 2 minutes but never did so we waited 10 minutes. No one came so we left. They were elsewhere apparently or on siesta so good job it wasn't serious. No one ever got back to me so we drove around without a head light for the rest of the week. Disappointing

Pros: Everything!

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: they fixed a punture we had quickly when we returned to dealership

Pros: Nice guys, quick and easy pickup and drop off

Pros: Ease and friendliness.

Cons: None.

Pros: Plenty of staff at reception and quick service when dropping off car.

Cons: Poor quality of child car seats provided, which were dirty (full of sand and mud), damaged (exposed polystyrene where upholstery had been ripped) and also very cheap and flimsy. Exorbitant costs to repair minor car damage, with €1150 charged to repair a single 3in long scratch on one of the doors caused by a loose stone on the road.

Pros: Easily located just outside the airport up the hill. Quick and efficient service and lovely little, clean car.

Cons: Everything was perfect.

Cons: Everything was perfect. If they return my money within 15 days. They will keep their promise. So l follow

Pros: good communication and service

Pros: Efficient paperwork process, very well priced rental and pleasant staff.

Cons: No compkaints.

Pros: make sure that your car can climb slopes more that 10% in a rain

Cons: The car was fairly battered and not really clean, I didn't mind though but others might.
