AddCar at Kefalonia Airport

Pros: very fast take and delivery .

Cons: agreement was full to full reservoir and it was same to same . and sprinkler windshield doesn t work. and credit card deposit.

Pros: Quick and efficient with decent car

Cons: Not real friendly and a tough uphill walk with luggage.

Cons: The gent was not that helpful I didn’t think. When I collected car i was concerned at all the bumps and scratches on it but he just said to take photos to prove it was like that. When I retuned the car I told him that the windscreen washer did not work and I’d have to carry a bottle of water with me and keep cleaning it, again he didn’t seem interested. Paid a lot of money and felt the car was old and battered both inside and out. Not value for money at all. RIP off to be honest,

Cons: Not particularly helpful on pick up. Other rental companies give out water due to the heat.

Pros: The service provided by AddCar was first class. The cost was by far the lowest on offer, but there was no lack of quality due to this. The cost for 19 days hire was less than some of the other companies were quoting for 3 or 4 days alone. The staff at AddCar were polite, happy and eager to please. Both the pick up and return were hassle free and the car, although a bit older than some companies, was clean, reliable and perfect for my needs, with the size of car as promised.

Cons: That the insurance is covered by a third party and needs to be claimed after.

Cons: The car was difficult to drive with a terrible clutch. I complained but the car was not replaced. The office was up was up the hill outside the airport and with cases was difficult to reach. Picking up the car took a long with no explanation as to why.

Pros: They were fair and reasonable about understanding 'under car' damage/issue, which we didn't spot when we picked the car up.

Cons: i asked for a written statement to be made on the back of teh contract that the deposit will be returned in full, but i was refused

Pros: Quick responses when emailing about changing our booking. Great customer service when collecting and dropping off.

Cons: Car was a little old compared to similar prices for cars we have rented elsewhere.

Cons: The car that we hired as soon as we drove it there was a problem with the radiator so we had to go back and get the tank of the radiator filled up. The staff were a bit blasé about it. We will stick to our usual rentals in the future which is CBR.

Cons: Argumentative staff, unhelpful. The cost of a very poor car for the week was hugely excessive.

Cons: Car broke down on the way to my holiday destination. All electrics cut out and could not even open the boot. After 32 phone calls i cot Addcar to call a mechanic who arrived 2.5 hours later. The problem with Addcar is that nobody gave a damn about me or my wife. We arrived at thaw holiday destination at 00.20 some 4 hours late.

Cons: Desk agent didn't seem particularly friendly as compared to the agent I worked with at a different agency. Car was definitely weaker than the same car model I used from a different agency.

Cons: No complaints about service. No map provided which was a 1st. And its an up hill treck from the airport terminal so my advice if you have heavy cases is to leave them at the terminal and go back for them with the car.

Cons: The guarantee money I had to block on my credit card, although I purchased a Full insurance coverage. Moreover, I still did not receive the money back after 4 days.

Pros: I rent the car from Kefalonia and drop it off to Zakinthos, in both cases it was easy to find the office but the office at Kefalonia is 1 km up hill walk from the airport which isn’t easy special with suitcases but this is not a big deal, the problem it was the car itself. It was dirty. The key fob it wasn’t working. The daytime running lamp it wasn’t working. The steering wheel shook when you braked over 80kmph.

Cons: The 2 hours delay i had when i arrived at kefalonia. I forgot my driver license but mu wife had her license. So we just want to change the driver. We paid 5 euros extra per day. Thats fine and fair enough but the behavior of rental agents that told us they can’t change the driver because of the application i did from Cyprus. The lies also they told us about police in the island and the problems we will find if we will have an accident and the compensation we will have to pay is unacceptable.

Pros: Friendly, professional service. Fast and organised, with no upselling insurance etc. They offered us a beach umbrella to use which was a life saver! I even put a small scratch on a bumper and they simply wished me a good flight home, with no extra charges. Will be back again for sure.

Cons: A head light bulb was out so we called at the office about 3pm. They were shut so called the number given which wasn't local. The lady said she would call me back in 2 minutes but never did so we waited 10 minutes. No one came so we left. They were elsewhere apparently or on siesta so good job it wasn't serious. No one ever got back to me so we drove around without a head light for the rest of the week. Disappointing

Exorbitant costs to repair minor car damage, with €1150 charged to repair a single 3in long scratch on one of the doors caused by a loose stone on the road.
