Pros: They allowed us to skip the car wash (would have taken another 20 minutes) when picking up the car

Pros: Friendly staff at both pick up and drop off. No pressure to purchase additional insurance. They did explain that using Discovery Car insurance represents a “refund model”, where I would have to pay for the damage first. However, they acknowledged that this is perfectly workable and let me go.
Pros: Car was clean and in good condition. The counter staff were relatively efficient though not friendly - not uncommon in our Rome experience. A parking garage attendant left our headlights on and caused us to have a flat battery the following morning. The staff manning the phone helpline weren't very helpful and in the end we sorted it out with the help and kindness of our hotel host.
Cons: They advertised a WW Golf, but we got a Seat Arona instead. Not a bad car, but I didn't like that they clearly didn't have manual Golfs, only autos, but advertised them as Golfs or equivalent. Disingenuous and the service staff didn't seem to care about that.
Pros: The car rental address (Alamo) provided was wrong! I lost more than an hour in Milan because of this! I had to go to 3 different places (the place mentioned on the voucher, the place mentioned in the store that no longer exists and finally the train station that I went to on my own) to finally be able to return the car! It is important to remember that I was with my young son and my wife and this caused us serious inconvenience! I was really very disappointed with this whole situation!

Please check the Rental Conditions for each vehicle prior to booking as some conditions, particularly the deposit and deductible, may vary based on the class of vehicle.
Minimum rental age is 21 years for car group Compact, Intermediate.
Minimum rental age is 25 years for car group Standard, Fullsize.
Minimum rental age is 27 years for car group Luxury.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
The driver license must be written in Latin alphabet.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit or debit card on a main driver's name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher, additional ID showing home address (e.g. Utility bill), photocard driving license.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Crossing country borders to Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom, EU countries is free of charge.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.

During winter season (from 15.11 until 15.04.) Snow chains are included in price.
All extras are available at the rental counter. Prices vary, depending on the rental period.
In order to have service out of hours, the renter must provide the following information: Flight number, train number.
A maximum of 59 minutes is available for service outside of business hours.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
