Sicily By Car at Rome Termini Train Station

Pros: Very fast and efficient.

Cons: I picked up the car at Rome Termini station and returned at Fiumicino Airport. A more precise drop-off address compatible with the vehicle navigation system would be helpful.

Pros: Drop off was efficient

Cons: Car was not in same category as agreed, would not change it and pick up took a very long time.

Pros: We have been charged when dropping off the vehicle because there was no jack and tools in the car. We were never told there should be or shown where they are! Why would we take a jack and tools when we’re on holidays?? We are very upset for being charged more for this and so distressed with this experience. Would not recommend Sicily by car to anyone travelling overseas. What would of happened if we would of broken down while driving at night! They made us sign without explaining this.

Cons: The air conditioning of our car did not work. Other than that, the experience was great.

Pros: Too much time spent on paperwork. Deposit hold release takes long time. Replacement car deposit was separately held. I had only one car but deposit was held for two cars.

Pros: I paid part of the rental payment to you for the car and they said they will consider my rental as a separate order and I had to pay again full rent to them. So I would really appreciate if you would return the amount I paid to you as this will otherwise just be a waste of money for me and unexpected profit to you or the rental company.

Cons: They changed tue booking and have still not returned the deposit.

Cons: Picking up the car took a total of three hours! We waited in line for an hour, then had to change cars three times because the first car they gave us needed servicing (which they realized only after we had loaded everything in it), and the second did not fit our luggage. Worst rental car pickup experience I’ve ever had.

Cons: Car was dusty inside and gas tank was not full. Despite mentioning this, seems I may be charged for the difference. Pickup was very slow and unclear instructions to locate car. Instructions for drop off could be better

Cons: Picking up the car took over 3.5 hours at Rome Termini. You need more counters/staff. Terrible experience.

Cons: The employer was quite rude and there was bureaucracy even though I had already provided my full details for check in. But the most negative issue was that every customer in the line was in front of the helpdesk for at least 30 minutes. That means that you should wait to receive your car for 2 hours.

Cons: I had to agree that there was no damage to the car before even seeing it. Refused to sign that. Glad i did as there was a scratch on the rear bumper.

Pros: When I checked in the agent at the desk informed me my car was not going to be ready for over an hour. Instead of making me wait or take a downgrade, he pulled some strings and found me a car in a more expensive category for no additional cost.

Cons: Drop off location in downtown Florence is not very well marked

Cons: When you go to pick up the they will try to convience you to take more things and add mony.. we had to wait a long time till we get the car and the worst of all the car wasnt safe for driving the wheels were in bad conditions and we was needind serives they never answers our calls we had been tried to call them so many times at the end we got help from good people we meet in the way.

Cons: the way that the problem ( lacking the luggage cover ) was handled. First they said that was the only car they had, and suggested we use a black garbage bag to cover the luggage. Tried calling the customer service but nobody answered. We had to go to the office again (Roma Termini) and ask for a different car.

Cons: I was told the day before picking up car that their office would be closed on Sunday! This totally threw me off and I spent 3 hours of my day sorting out a car on Saturday.

Pros: The care was nice, new, clean and handled well.

Cons: We were retruning to downtown office in Tuscany by 1:30pm. We arrived on time to the address given -- but were not told office was closed 1-3pm!! We went to another car return garage and they were the ones who told us where the Sicily car rental return garage was. Then when we dropped off the guy told us give only keys, he would not finalize contract or give receipt. We found this very confusing.

Pros: Great communication and contract terms were available in English

Cons: Slow process when picking up car. Exterior of car was dirty.

Cons: Again, the Citroen C3 was unacceptable due to its fuel inefficiency and its blind spots. I don't need a good looking car to drive in. I need a car that is efficient on gas and easy to see out of.
