Sicily By Car at Rome Termini Train Station

Pros: The amability of the staff.

Cons: Sadly, our only experience was with a Family van that was mecanically fine, but it had a problem with the washer liquid deposit, so it wasnt working. We take the vehicle in such condition because the alternative was no vehicle at all. It shows a maintenance problem that, i hope, was only a our experience, and not a extended issue.

Pros: Incredibly helpful, great car. Best rental car experience yet. The long time at the rental desk was our fault. Would have been completed within 15 mins if not for us.

Cons: There was only one agent working at the station at the time of pick up. Every other desk had two people. There was an extremely long line and it took a very long time to check in.

Pros: Value for money for the service and speed of check-out in Rome-Fiumicino.

Cons: The directions to the rental office in Rome-Termini were not very clear. The interior of the car had not been vacuumed at all.

Pros: Everything was ok, car was good and the service of the agents was very high.

Cons: You need to wait for money deposit returning for very long time.

Pros: They switched out our van at another location because the ac was not working. Waived fuel charge.

Cons: The ac was not working when we rented the van in Rome. Then gave us a smaller van because they didn't have the same size . The front seat in the ford transit passenger seat was very uncomfortable as it did not lean back.

Pros: I didn’t get scammed for damages or gas or anything that other companies try to scam Americans with.

Cons: The car had multiple damages already on it prior to my pickup. So many that it was hard to keep track of what was there and listed. I was then told “don’t worry” about the scratches that weren’t marked down. The car seat was the wrong size and we were told that’s all they had. I reserved the correct said and when I told the agent I had to wait to get another car seat brought to us by a third, not so happy agent. Had 2 rental cars during my vacation. No issues with the first one.

Cons: Hard to find pick up. Most of all the tyres on the car were so worn out the metal bead was coming through the rubber and was highly unsafe to drive. However, this is still how SBC presented the vehicle.

Cons: the entire check in system needed rebooted which took almost a half hour and we did not receive the car that we had originally reserved. The system in the car stopped reading the USB which we had used for navigation.

Pros: I had a problem with my credit card but the employee was very helpfull and he worked around the issue with ease.

Cons: It was a budget small car, so we weren't expecting much... but even so, this one was quite beat up: covered in hail damage dings, marks, was missing one hub cap and the USB port (and Carplay) did not work.

Cons: The car. As soon as I decided to by their insurance, they changed the car (I asked a peugeto 308 SW and got a tipo sw), I'm sure about this because the guy said it was dirty because he didn't had time to clean it, while I booked the car 15 days before.

Cons: I picked up the car at Rome Termini station and returned at Fiumicino Airport. A more precise drop-off address compatible with the vehicle navigation system would be helpful.

Pros: Too much time spent on paperwork. Deposit hold release takes long time. Replacement car deposit was separately held. I had only one car but deposit was held for two cars.

Pros: I paid part of the rental payment to you for the car and they said they will consider my rental as a separate order and I had to pay again full rent to them. So I would really appreciate if you would return the amount I paid to you as this will otherwise just be a waste of money for me and unexpected profit to you or the rental company.

We waited in line for an hour, then had to change cars three times because the first car they gave us needed servicing (which they realized only after we had loaded everything in it), and the second did not fit our luggage. Worst rental car pickup experience I’ve ever had.

Cons: The employer was quite rude and there was bureaucracy even though I had already provided my full details for check in. But the most negative issue was that every customer in the line was in front of the helpdesk for at least 30 minutes. That means that you should wait to receive your car for 2 hours.

Pros: When I checked in the agent at the desk informed me my car was not going to be ready for over an hour. Instead of making me wait or take a downgrade, he pulled some strings and found me a car in a more expensive category for no additional cost.

Cons: When you go to pick up the they will try to convience you to take more things and add mony.. we had to wait a long time till we get the car and the worst of all the car wasnt safe for driving the wheels were in bad conditions and we was needind serives they never answers our calls we had been tried to call them so many times at the end we got help from good people we meet in the way.

Cons: the way that the problem ( lacking the luggage cover ) was handled. First they said that was the only car they had, and suggested we use a black garbage bag to cover the luggage. Tried calling the customer service but nobody answered. We had to go to the office again (Roma Termini) and ask for a different car.

Cons: We were retruning to downtown office in Tuscany by 1:30pm. We arrived on time to the address given -- but were not told office was closed 1-3pm!! We went to another car return garage and they were the ones who told us where the Sicily car rental return garage was. Then when we dropped off the guy told us give only keys, he would not finalize contract or give receipt. We found this very confusing.

Cons: Again, the Citroen C3 was unacceptable due to its fuel inefficiency and its blind spots. I don't need a good looking car to drive in. I need a car that is efficient on gas and easy to see out of.
