Pros: Central location
Cons: Car was not ready had to wait for 1.5 hours before we could drive away. Number plate was worn so car park recognition wouldn’t let us out. Staff in Rome were exceptionally grumpy both check on and car ppl hand over. Windscreen washer was empty. Terrible directions and signage for drop off at Naples although handover staff were excellent.

Cons: Pick-up experience was very bad. There wasn’t Wi-Fi and agent didn’t help with that Got Fiat instead of Audi. Tank wasn’t full. Tyres pressure was broken, we got error after each stop and sometimes during ride.

Pros: Please, avoid Locauto! They have no respect to the customer, they don't know what it means customer service! I never ever had such bad experience with a rental car company and we travel a lot!
Cons: Please, be aware, if you bring the car very close to the return time stated on your contract, they will keep you waiting before taking the key so that they can charge an extra day! Our car return time was 15:57, we arrived at 15:50, but we waited 25 min. until an agent was free to take the car from us! I strongly recommend you not to use Locauto! Very unpolite and keen to charge you extra!

Mileage policy
For rentals of 1–27 days, mileage is unlimited.
For rentals of 28 days or more, mileage is limited to 117 km per day.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): EU.
