AirCar at Agadir Airport

Cons: No one around at pick up time/drop off. Both times, I went back and forth from inside the airport to outside pushing my two suitaces. I was supposed to drop the car at 08:30. I got there at 08:20 but no one was around. Another customer told me no one would be there before 10 minutes. I waited bu no one turned up so I decided to check in first. When I went there the only staff who was there was busy. So I just dropped keys on the desk

Pros: I liked the fact that Air car has a lot of potential

Cons: Massive queue at pick up with one very slow man, the car was filthy, covered in dents and scratches, including a chipped windscreen, broken parcel shelf, really rude staff, the air con didn’t work properly and we were informed by police the unit was leaking, bald tyres.

Pros: Overall, a good experience with AirCar. Drop off was efficient and agent was pleasant, professional and effective, with a fast follow up via email confirming all was in order.

Cons: There were two issues that detracted from the experience being perfect: A. We booked the car for 22.00; we arrived at the desk at 21.50 and no agent was to be found. It was not clear how to contact the agent, either. Following help from an employee of another company, the agent showed up at 22.25. Once the process started, he was pleasant and effective. B. Car's mechanical condition was acceptable/reasonable, but could be better. Brakes and engine felt like they needed some service.

Cons: I collected the vehicle, as I drove off, the car was not in a good condition making loads of noises, the parking sensors wasn't working the speakers wasn’t working so we could not listen to any music or hear the navigation from my phone. I did try to contact the AirCar more than 10 times ask them to replace the vehicle, no one answered the phone.

Cons: At the return, no response when I called. Instead, a shirtless man at the parking claimed he worked for the company and asked me to give him the keys. When I asked for proof of his employment, he handed me a phone where another person insisted I give him the keys without providing any documentation/ receipt. When I insisted on verifying the return process, he became rude and accused me of causing new dents to the car. After inspection, confirmed that the dents weren't my fault. never again

Pros: Overall a good experience. AirCar Kiosk directly at the terminal, car location just a few meters away. The car had a few dents and scratches, nothing major, which I documented very carefully. Driving in bigger cities is a bit crazy, full coverage is recommended. The staff was friendly, deposit was only blocked, not charged, and returned after the rental. Nobody tried to pull a scam on us with the credit card, lowering the deposit for extra costs, insurance scams or anything like that.

Cons: At first, there was nobody to return the car to despite being exactly on time. But after contacting someone via whatsapp at the phone number provided at the kiosk, a representative arrived. So plan for at least an hour for the return process to have enough buffer if returning the car before your flight. I had to ask for a signature that the car is OK, otherwise they would let me go with just a verbal confirmation, which in case of a problem could be an issue.

Cons: The fact that I was charged extra. My credit wasn't working, so I was charged extra for the car rental when I had to pay the deposit via debit card.

Pros: Really straightforward and fast. The car was new dacia lodgy in a good condition. It was definitely worth the money and the deposit was sent back in less than 24 hours after dropping off the car.

Pros: The car they gave me had a big dent on the passages side and that made it difficult to close the door. when I asked about changing the car, it was not welcoming. they put me in a difficult situation where I had no choice but to just accept to borrow the car. at was 22:00 in the evening with two small children and wife who was tired after a long flight.

When I tried to point that out they just changed one of the wheels but the other tires were already wiped clean and unsafe to drive. I refused to take the car despite them trying to convince me. They gave me an alternative car but that took around 3 hours to sort out

Cons: When we realized that the right back door wasn't opening, they acted as if it was a surprise for them, but clearly they knew it. And didn't offer another car, but just said: "Yes, the door is not working. Is it okay?". We had 2 little children and they would need to get out on street side every time, which was not okay. So they gave another car, which was dirty on the inside - sand and dust all over the seats. The dirtiest inside of the car I have ever received in car rental.

Cons: The car was damaged al lot at he outside, the door didnt't close well, the 12V power supply for the GPS didn't work, one of the lights was broken and the car was dirty at the inside. When I returned the car in Essaouira (pick up was at Agadir) the person of AirCar presumed that we had caused all of this damage. I had however taken pictures of the damage at the pick up.

Pros: The most important thing - no cheating on car drop-off. During pick-up, an AirCar representative was checking the car with us, but car's color was dark, and it was already after the sunset, so he didn't mark everything. Some holes in bodywork were visible only during daytime. Car didn't get damaged anyhow and AirCar didn't report "new" issues, and that's the most important thing in car rental selection. Guys are trustworthy! Car was in overall good shape - brakes working well etc.

Cons: Windscreen was very dirty from the inside, thus driving west was challenging. Also, I think that the cars could be fueled to 8/8, ours was 3/8.

Cons: When we returned the car to Aircar they asked us for money to clean the it. It wasn't written in the contract, and it's normal that the car is not cleaned after a week of use. I think we have been scammed by Aircar. Even if for a small amount , this is not correct.

When you’ve left a lot of money on your credit card as deposit, one can’t help but worry of being accused of unreported damage after you've left the country. Simply needs a ‘meeter and greeter’ in the car rental car park.

Pros: There was a very polite English speaking man and the process was smooth although it took a bit longer then I expected.

Cons: I didn’t like the person who actually brought a car and he was the one who met us when we returned it. He was an opposite to the man at the desk. He would not speak English, was grumpy, not answering my questions. I could not believe how rude he was.
