Pros: Call out system.

Cons: Price was totally different, didn't show the price and for what it was, just commented something, never tell about any fees for "premium" services, which were not asked for... Last time going with Goldcar

Pros: The drop of was relatively quick and friendly and we we're given a little guidance on how to change the settings of the car on collection.

Cons: It took a long time to process the vehicle, ~2hrs. We initially received a vehicle that wasn't road worthy, then had to wait for a new vehicle. The agent we initially engaged with disappeared without handover to the other team member. Both cars we saw weren't clean either.

Pros: Myriam was so great, after a long wait she accommodate me in a very professional way. I rate her attitude and value as a staff up to 10. Overall experience was good and nothing major to complain of it.

Cons: We had a flat tyre and no spare. You then made us travel 2hrs to get a new car.

Pros: This was awful. We were told to use our reservation it would cost three times as much as the quoted amount. The staff were rude, forcefully and we had no choice other than to cancel our booking and make a new one directly. Presumably so they could secure more comission.

Cons: Total rip off. They told blatant lies and attempted to bully me into paying for extra extra insurance. She then lied about the amount deposit and promptly took 2400eurs off my credit cars. I have never been served by such a rude woman. I doubt i will hire a car again from anyone never mind this shower of dross called goldcar.

Pros: Frosty reception and very aggressive saleswoman trying to frankly sell me an extra insurance even after I told her several times that I have purchased full insurance. But the experience of returning the vehicle was much better with helpful, efficient and polite staff.

Pros: Almost brand new car, and on the face of it, a reasonable price.

Cons: The agents at the airport were not very friendly or helpful. Read the insurance terms carefully. I am absolutely convinced I paid all I needed to pay when I booked online - but, no, it seems both me and my friend (who also booked online) missed an 'extra' that cost a further 175euros, despite the agreement I had in my hand saying I was fully paid. You can't get the keys until you pay the extra.

Cons: Tried the hard sell of excess ins cover. Vehicle had damage NOT listed on the pick up form. Had to get one of their agents to examine prior to leaving the pick up location.

Cons: Collecting the car I felt pressurised the agent to take out the car insurance provided by Goldcar. The time picking up the car was longer than I expected. The car has had multiple scratches and a large dent.Otherwise the car was clean and driving nicely.

Cons: Service at the counter in the terminal was ridiculously slow. There were plenty of staff but half of them were stood around chatting whilst there were empty desks for serving people - it was as if they wanted the queue to grow to show how popular they were. The woman we got at the counter was very condescending and tried to scare us into buying their very expensive insurance.

Cons: The staff was a complete liar. Threatening me to charge interest on their 2000 euro excess if I declined their premium insurance which I later found out was a lie. Also the excess stated in my booking was 1400 instead 2000. My remaining balance to pay was supposed to be 20 euros but the staff demanded 290 euros and would not honour the 20 euros. The fee comprised of 39 euros premium office fee, 165 premium insurance and 33 euros late arrival fee. The only fee that was fair was the late arrival

Cons: The way they screw you over insurance. I paid for full-cover only to be charge another 320 euros for fully-comp insurance on top when I picked it up. This was hidden in the ts&cs and I didn't appreciate the strong-arm tactics of the Goldcar operative at the desk. It left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Cons: Kiosk prices are very different from online via Discover Cars. We spoke with Goldcar staff member first who offered a more expensive option and they said it was the cheapest they had. Then we went on Discover Cars and booked online there which was a lot cheaper. Straight after we went back to Goldcar who was able to process the booking anyway so no problem there. Just seems to be an inconsistency with pricing between obtaining the car directly from the kiosks vs online.
