Turisprime at Fuerteventura Airport

Pros: Option to board ferry included, online check-in and upsale options

Cons: Poor explanation where to find office, single staff member available for pick-up and drop-off, phone number provided on reservation wasn't correct.

Pros: Cheap prices but without compromises, my car was relatively new and worked. Even though they do not have their own people to manage the rental, avis did a perfect job in explaining everything for them both at pick up and drop off

Cons: The only thing in Fuerteventura is that they do not have parking spaces so you have to pay the parking ticket for the car, but it's usually a few cents or euros, nothing crazy.

Pros: De vindbaarheid vanhet bureua en vlotte afhandeling van ontvangen en terugbrengen van de wagen.

Cons: Wagen was niet goed onderhouden. Vensters waren reeds lang niet gepoetst aan de binnenkant, wat de zichtbaarheid bemoeilijkt bij bepaalde zoninval. Aircofilter was mijn mening ook verzadigd, wat wijst op geen regelmatig onderhoud.

Cons: staff at collection point were quite ignorant, almost like they were annoyed we were there both on collection and return car and price were fine....just the staff

Cons: Only one gripe. The car was where it was supposed to be but the local agent (Turisprime) wasn't there. I had to call for further instructions.

Pros: app pick up instructions totally incorrect..after 45mins waiting at aisle c-137 telephoned the contact number Avis answered the call & instructed me to come to the Avis desk in the terminal. ok car collected but was not registered at this airport & therefore it took 45mins to exit the avis car park.

Cons: Although i filled everything thing online and paid car was not ready and had to wait 45mins agent did not explain the delay until I asked him why he was making numerous phone calls

Cons: Despite the instructions provided it was virtually impossible to figure out where to pick the car up from. It was only by accident that I asked an agent from Avis for help that it became clear that they dealt with the pickup. The car was parked ina public car park which I then had to pay to get out of!!

Pros: Easy and fast booking - I booked at 7am for a pick up same day at 11am

Pros: Efficient once finally found where to collect from as no signs allowed at the airport for the company.

Cons: very strict on the rules of fuel, having to hand in a receipt of where I filled the car. I did a total of 140km my whole 8 day trip. This wouldn’t be an issue if the rest of the service was to such standard. The car itself was not the car I booked. Being told the car I got “is better” but actually being much worse. The drivers seat had chocolate on it, the door had mud up it on the inside. Car smelled like wet dog. The passenger seat was filthy. the wipers were useless and didn’t clear windows.

Cons: The rental desk was hard to find. We had to ask several information points for the rental desk location. There were two names on the reservation to look for when arrived on airport. However it was not mentioned on the documents that Avis was the name to look for. But that was really the only negative thing to mention.

Pros: Rien. J'étais d'autant plus déçue que j'avais gardé un super souvenir de mes deux précédentes locations aux Canaries. Là, c'était pire qu'en France !!!

Cons: Ce que j'ai coché : la difficulté à trouver le lieu de Loc et quelqu'un, l'attente, le souci d'assurance, l'insistance pour que j'en prenne une autre, les exigences. Et pour couronner le tout, le niveau de lave-glace était à zéro.

Cons: They rented a car that was not available. Family of 5 with lots of luggage so we dented an estate car and got a small i30. As they are not present at the rental locations and get another operator to provide the car there is no come back or help. Either take the car offered or rent another one! Avis person who explained how it all works was very helpful. Will never use Turisprime again.

Cons: Really hard to find the location where to pick the car up from and the car was dirty inside and car cut out when started from cold also tired where low pressure. no brake down contact details.

Pros: Nothing had to wait 30 minutes for my car having the booking at 10M arrived 11am car not there and still had to wait 30 minutes car not clean the board was full of dust plus we had problems with tyre pressure they send someone next day to check it and he deleted the error from the board after he left came back because the tyres were losing pressure. They don't even have a desk for turisprime you have to go to Avis desk. Definitely never again with this company

Cons: Couldn't see a sign for Turisprime anywhere. Had to use google maps to get as close as possible. The actual booth was located where another car rental company was.

Cons: My confirmation said I have to go to car park Nr 124 but nobody was there and also no info sign. The one phone number was a call center, and nobody picked up the other phone for 2-3 tries. Several other people had the same issue. Turned out we had to go to the avis office 2 or 3 rows further.
