Cons: They deliver a cars with problems, first I had to drive back to their office (3 hrs) and the 2nd time they replaced at the hotel only after being very clear about their quality they come in action, and they charge me for the replaced of their own lousy car.

Based on this I will never use Top car again. This delayed our arrival at the hotel on what was already a short break. A short break made even shorter !

This issue was however satisfactorily resolved upon return of the vehicle. With full insurance cover having been selected and paid is it really necessary necessary to take a large deposit? Others do not!

Pros: The car was damaged on the left side but the car information only had damage recorded on the right. So I had to take photos for evidence on return which caused me anxiety in case the didn’t believe me. I have had €42 taken by top car and no explanation why.

Cons: I paid extra insurance to discover cars at time of booking. When I collected the car I had to ether pay another €49 for full insurance or pay a refundable €900 if I return without damage. If I caused damage they would keep the €900 and I would have to claim back through the original insurance I bought. Extremely frustrating I have hired numerous cars and never had money actually taken off my credit card, and not it hasn’t been fully returned and I don’t know why.

I asked if they would deliver a car to us and said they would but would take the £700 deposit which I thought was unacceptable so didn’t push the issue any further.

Cons: Paperwork advised the fuel tank was 7/8 full, however, upon collecting the car, the tank was only half full. I was not given the opportunity to check the fuel level prior to signing the paperwork and therefore paid for approximately £20 of petrol that I did not use.

Pros: Trunk was super small for SUV. Couldn’t fit 4 bags :)

Pros: Easy to collect and drop off. Very useful that car had Apple CarPlay. It would be good to be able to request cars with this feature when booking.

Pros: Friendly and amazingly quick for both pickup and dropoff, never experienced a faster service for either.

Cons: Het mega lange wachten om de auto op te halen, ruim 1 1/2 uur bij de balie gestaan, de dame werkte zo tergend langzaam en niet efficiënt. En er werd gezegd alle kosten zijn inbegrepen maar of je nog wel even je eigen risico wilt afbetalen. Je vult thuis alle gegevens in inclusief creditcard en rijbewijs gegevens, of je bij de balie dit schriftelijk weer wilt doen. En dan gaat de dame handmatig alles verwerken in de pc, of een wel erg langzaam tempo.
