Pros: Their staff, and mainly the proactivity of Daniela at the T4 counter who helped us.

Pros: Great price and easy drop off. Pickup window was busy and finding the car in the lot could be made easier

Cons: The car had some issues going up steep extended hills on long drives but other than that, it was a nice, clean, comfortable ride.

Cons: The Car had 2 warning lights illuminated. They explained that the oil was changed by they didn’t reset the warning light. And they said that someone stole the air pressure sensors, so that light is always on.

Cons: Record go refused to modify the booking and required me to drive the car back to Madrid Barajas airport or they said they would call the police. I requested an extension through you as the agency and them as the service provider and neither would help. This required me to travel 11hrs in one day to still be charged nearly the price of a 10 day rental in late and extra day fees. In addition the pickup time was over 5hrs due to disorganization. It was the worst rental ever.

Cons: The amount locked on my credit card to cover for potential damage feels excessive - and it may not get unlocked for up to a month (reason given was that I was using a non Spanish/euro credit card! The money taken as security deposit for fuel was also high at 90 euros considering that filling the car only need 60 euros - and also could take up to 10 days to get refunded

Pros: Waited for almost an hour to get car. Was given shuck and jive service by RecordGo staff. Changed out to a different car that stank of mildew for five days. Requested to switch out vehicle but was referred back to original rental company by Discover. That's where the problem started, so it wasn't a solution.

Cons: The service agents were unhelpful to the point of rude. I had to fill in more forms and sign loads of things which you don't usually have to do with other companies. They wouldn't accept a credit card, only a debit, which was not in agreement with the Ts and Cs. They took a £1200 deposit from a debit which they kept for a month and I had to chase to have it returned.

Pros: I had a great experience with this company, was treated really well, small car was upgraded to an suv for free simply because I was planning a long international drive which made me so happy. I have already chosen them again for my next rental just because of that. Would highly recommend

Cons: I didn't like the fact that you end up being charged extras for crossing the border which is not mentioned online. Other agencies don't charge that extra fee.

Pros: Easy to find at the terminal building when landing.

Cons: We had booked for our car to be ready from 2pm. We arrived at the desk around 2:30 as our flight was delayed. They explained that the car was still being cleaned and we would have to wait. We waited for about 30 more minutes to be told the car then had to be taken to be refuelled which took another 20 minutes. All in all took around an hour to receive the car from arriving at the desk, making us late for plans we had with friends. I am also pregnant and had to wait for an hour in the heat.

Cons: The car looked clean, but in opening the compartment between the front seats I found rubbish left by the previous renter. I was told that the car had no marks or dents, but I found multiple scratches. The engine is not powerful enough, on the motorway I would need to turn the aircon off when climbing a hill in order to not drop speed. For that reason, fuel consumption was huge. I was told that the deposit could take up to 30 days to get back into my account due to the card/bank. Not true.

Cons: It's a rip off. They billed me 15 euros/day extra (300 euros for 18 days) because we arrived 5 hours later at the rental desk to pick up the car, after our flight had been cancelled. I immediately warned them by phone, still being in Belgium, and they said it was ok. Once in Madrid, I had to pay 300 euros extra. Don't ever rent a car with Record Go!

Pros: I was forced to pay for a full coverage insurance because I was paying with an American express card.

Cons: I was involved in a minor accident. The only number I had was roadside assistance. I called them at 8 pm, and had to wait till 1 in the morning for the tow truck to show up. In the middle of all of this I was told that in order for me to get a replacement car I would have to travel 500 miles to Bilbao or Madrid to get it since they don't have offices but in a few mayor airports in Spain. I sent them an email and the response was they had up to 30 days to respond.

Pros: My reservation was fir 9 am it was changed to 12 pm then I was charged for early pick up 40 euros. The car phone connection didn’t work. Then when returning the car, I got charged another 150 euros for late drop off. I explained to the guy that I tried calling and there was no way to contact the car rental place to change my reservation because it would have been cheaper to add a day, he just said oh well you broke the contract and it is what it is. No courtesy at all.

Cons: No Cust Serv skills even after waiting 40 min to return car, he kept getting every other person who came in after us.

Cons: Although it was not their fault and they were very professional, because their was only a single person working the office at Terminal 4 on a Sunday morning for pick up and there was a line, we had to wait more than 30 minutes for our pick up to be processed.

Cons: The agent did not speak English. The instruction to find the car was bad spent 30 minutes looking for it in the huge lot. I was told to sign this is this just for your new rate since the care I picked did not have navigation. I was never told I could not drive the car to portage and was fined for it.

Pros: The agency had one employee tending to a dozen folks waiting in line. Paper heavy process… then they didn’t have a car so the attendent had to call for approval to give me one of the next level up. Nightmare.

Cons: The rerun is the same one person only regardless of how many waiting in line. So you had to rudely cut through the line to inform the attendent you’re returning and you man miss your flight if you have to wait in line then when he/she could they’ll come and walk around the car with you.

Was missing a pound of engine oil. I called the service but was not addressed. I was afraid that the vehicle would get stuck while driving

Not fair... even if the small letter say so, even if you told me... no matter what it is a deal breaker for me... Record GO NO MORE!

Pros: Nothing. The service at Madrid airport, a major rental location, was just awful. Nobody at the office, except for indication to go directly to the garage. There was there just one (very ineffective) agent and a line of customers. She refused to provide a paper copy of the contract with details of the rental despite charging my credit card with some 100 Euros in gasoline charges and a 1,400 Euros in a security fee. Instead, she gave me an unreadable paper filled with legalese.

Cons: Most prominently, the fact that they have not yet refunded and credited my MasterCard the security fee of 1,400 Euros, despite the fact that I returned the car in mint condition some four days ago. This appears to be fraudulent to me. Will seek remedies.

I checked but when drop off they wanted me to pay for some damage that don't belong to me and i proved it because i showed the photos when i picked up. Later they agreed with me. Deporsit is huge money for car rent .please a support to turn my 1400 + 89 (gas tank) deposit.

In case the tire bursts you have to wait for roadside assistance to bring you one . Therefore if you have a flight you will probably lose it .

Cons: They charged me for something that they should not. Notwithsatnding that I was right and Discover Car detected it, issue still is not solved and they charged me 40 euro.

Pros: The Service Agent during pick up was extremely nice and friendly. He took time to explain everything. The Process was very smooth and easy, almost suspicious :). Drop Off was also smooth and uncomplicated. Great experience.

Cons: In general, nothing to claim. Only small thing is the car was from my point of view not in a perfect condition. During our journey we always got one annoying warning on the display and sometimes we had some strange noises. But nothing serious or security-relevant.

Cons: - shuttle from the airport was packed - the luggage fell off badly from the shuttle when the guy opened the boot and there was no question about possible damage, no work of apologies, nothing ! - the contract reported no damages to the car but in fact the car had a lot of scratches which they didn't want to report on the electronic version of the contract which they asked me to sign - they asked 7€ / day (165€) for a small platform for our kid, we finally bought one for 8€ in the supermarket

Long queues, one of the staff whilst was on the phone probably with another customer which slowed down the whole process, they try to force you to buy the Total Comfort package. Won't be picking this company again due to the poor collection/return experience.

Cons: The waiting time was ridiculous, we waited for almost 2 hours to get our car even with a reservation. The staff wasn’t very nice, the location is in the middle of nowhere, there’s no easy access and the shuttle service is provided whenever they want, they could not care less about your needs. Also, while we were picking up the car, some woman got her purse stolen inside the facilities and again, the staff didn’t even seem surprised by the fact that there was a robbery inside the facilities.

Cons: Lots of hidden fees! You have to be really careful not to be ripped off. Kilometres were sold to me on Discover cars as unlimited, but actually you have to go back to their office before 2000km to “check” the car before you can continue. Otherwise they charge 2€ PER KM over 2000

Pros: Return of the car was fast and simple

Cons: They apply intense pressure sales tactics to force you to take out full insurance at the counter. They try and scare you about accidents and how unsafe the country is (completely untrue). Its a nerve wracking and holiday destroying experience after having to wait over 1 hour in line to pick up the car.
