Pros: no issue with the car

Cons: At picking up, the agent pushed me 3 times in a quite offensive way to buy their insurance , even if i already had one bought by discovercars. He told me they wouldnt give me money back. Well, i received them 2 days after i dropped off the car

Pros: One person on the desk on a Saturday morning at a major international airport...really !!! Guy that eventually served us looked fed-up and quite rude. Told him we had already spoken to Goldcar main office to explain our situation and that they had put instruction notes on the system for him to read......he told us there was nothing !! He then went on to totally confuse us by saying that because our card was in English pounds he would have to charge us €54 extra each way ?????

Cons: Almost everything !!! Guy on the desk on tuesday evening (Daniel) when we returned the car was great..very helpful, polite and courteous. Unlike the first guy (Eduardo/ Edward ?) who was none of these....as mentioned above.

Cons: Car was completely battered and dented. It had no rear parcel shelf so all our bags in the boot were exposed to anybody, leaving us nervous about security for our entire holiday. We asked if we could have a same car replacement, the answer was no. We were offered a bigger car but we would have to pay the extra. We were offered a smaller car but were not offered a discount. Just took the original car and just tried to reduce our risk as best as we could. Non unlimited miles also gave extra cost.

Pros: Try to ay game with the international driving license !

Cons: I had to perferm the oil change of the car 500 km after departure ! Contact them several time customer service via email and phone...and no answer or "wage" answer. Wanted me.to make an extra 250 kg to go at their location !!! I was going to pay for.fuel, toll, km on th car and my time for a job they did not perform !!!

Pros: Nothing

Cons: I was denied a rental at the arrival. The agent stated that the absence of international lisence prevented her from lending me a car. I went across the hall to Hertz and they didn’t have the same qualms. I’ve traveled all over the world and never was I questioned about international license which is nothing more that a simple translation to an existing license.

Cons: Very tricky with the car insurance, charging a lot more. l have not yet received my deposit (152EU). I returned the car with a full tank over a week ago.

Cons: I don't like the policy of returning the car without filling it. Not only the charge of 21€ but I did not use the amount of gasoline which was charged after. The price would have been near 3€ per liter instead of the 1.25 or so at the gasolinera. Let me have the option of which way to return the vehicle.

Pros: Nothing! They were horrible. Had to take a bus to the other terminal. It took an hour to see an agent, even though there werr only two people in front of me. The car was awful did not have Anti Lock Brakes.

Pros: Car brake fluid light went on after first day.

Cons: We called customer service and they told us to buy break fluidb and put it in the car ourselves!!! We tried to find and autoshop and everything would take 2 hours. This all on our own. We had to then look at YouTube videos to try to figure out what kind of break fluid and where to do it. We were not near the location where we rented it so we had no other choice. Goldstar didn't offer to give us another car at the closest location Whiich would have been a 20 mins drive.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Mileage: 1250 km per rental, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1100.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax, Environmental Contribution fee.
Rate excludes
The cost of the fuel can range from 67 EUR to 212 EUR.
The following surcharges may apply: Environmental Contribution fee, Carbon Emissions Fee.
Mileage policy
In Sevilla, Malaga, Jerez, Alicante, Valencia, Reus, Murcia, Gerona mileage is limited up to 120 km per day.

Mileage is limited in Madrid, Barcelona.
For rentals lasting 1 to 3 days, mileage is limited to 350 km per day.
For rentals lasting 4 to 6 days, mileage is limited to 250 km per day.
For rentals lasting 7 to 14 days, mileage is limited to 150 km per day.
For rentals of 15 days or more, mileage is limited to 100 km per day.
Mileage is limited, there will be a surcharge for each additional km. To access unlimited mileage, the customer can purchase an Additional Mileage option for an extra fee. The amount of this fee depends on the vehicle group.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A novice driver fee will apply to drivers who have held their driver license for less than 4 years.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP). A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
The deposit amount will be held on the customer's credit card without a deductible/excess.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card. If the customer takes the following extra equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.

Payment policy
The following payment methods are accepted: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.
It is possible to leave the deposit only with following methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.
All credit cards must be capable of the following: CHIP verification, PIN verification, Embossed; cards without this capability will not be accepted.

The daily limit on the card used for payment must be high enough to cover the deposit. Otherwise, purchase of the following insurance policy(ies): Super Relax Cover is mandatory.
The main driver's full first and last name must be on the credit card without abbreviations.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Geographical restrictions
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.

Moving the car from one island to another is forbidden.
From Spain, only travel to Andorra, France is allowed, when the vehicle has been picked up at any of the following offices: Bilbao, Santander, Oviedo, Barcelona, Reus, Gerona, Pamplona. From Spain, only travel to Portugal, Gibraltar is allowed, when the vehicle has been picked up at any of the following offices: Granada, Sevilla, Malaga, Almeria, Jerez, Sancti Petri.
From Spain, only travel to Portugal is allowed, when the vehicle has been picked up at any of the following offices: Gibraltar.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Young driver fee, Novice driver.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

All extras are available at the rental counter. Prices vary, depending on the rental period.
Optional extras are subject to the following additional charge(s): Premium Location surcharge, Airport Surcharge.

Delivery/collection service is not provided.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

Diesel vehicles are available for an additional charge.
A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon pick up.
For electric vehicles: the customer will receive the vehicle totally charged, and it is NOT necessary to return it with a full charge.
A full battery lasts around 150 km (this is an estimate as it depends on several factors).
If the customer runs out of battery and is stranded with the vehicle, requiring help from our roadside assistance, please keep in mind that this service is not covered by the rental insurance nor by any additional policy (the customer is always liable for all costs involved).
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 28 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
In order to have service out of hours, the renter must provide the following information: Flight number.
Pick up outside of business hours is not available in Reus Airport. Service outside of business hours is not available from 23:01 to 06:59.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
