Pros: Actual car hire company is Europcar. Keddy is just a booking agency, I assume. Pickup fairly easy, after discussing upgrade, extra insurance etc (not taken).

Cons: The man dealing with me told me that the car booked was not available - offered me an MG ZS which i initially rejected. He then went off and offered a Merc with I initially accepted only to be told that as I had “requested” an upgrade- it would cost more - I told him that it would not and accepted the MG ZS. He then tried to talk me into extra insurance that would have almost trebled the hirecost. Rejected. I do feel this sort of salesmanship is not acceptable especially after a long flight.

Pros: Very pleasant staff members dealt with us at pick up and drop off. The shuttle service was excellent.

Cons: It seems that they didn't have exactly the vehicle class ordered, so first they tried to talk me into taking a fancier vehicle by paying double the rental price, then offered a smaller vehicle, (obviously what the staff member was required to try), however, as soon as I insisted on what I had ordered, we got an excellent equivalent vehicle.

Pros: All managed by Eurocar. Minimal wait for bus, and plenty of people helping at counter to get checked through. Did not try to sell me additional insurance as I provided them with documentation from credit card. Easy drop off.

Cons: They scammed me into taking out a VERY expensive insurance, saying "it's just £19 and protects you for everything" but failed to mention that it was £19 PER DAY - on a 3 week rental! It cost me £486.36 in total! They also add loads of hidden fees, including a surcharge for picking up at an airport and one fee that's literally called "other fees" and doesn't explain what it's for.

Pros: The drop-off was quick and painless.

Cons: 1) They claimed I received my car with fuel at 8/8, but I have photographic proof the fuel was at 6/8. 2) I have received 2 fines, and it took them almost a month to forward them to me, so I missed the pay-early discount. 3) Their admin fee for traffic violations at 40 pounds is overly excessive and this is not shared when the vehicle was collected. It's no use hiding this in the T's & C's. --Won't use or recommend Europcar again.

Pros: The service I received was from Europcar and it was dismal

Cons: The car provided to me did not have a functional USB charger and I had to purchase a plug to use the 12W lighter socket. The car had a lot more damages on the roof, side of car and the front left light which were not recorded on the inspection sheet. The car was handed to me unchecked as the staff said that it was too late and dark to conduct an inspection. When we first drove it out of the car rental, twice the alarms for the tyre pressure were alerted and flashing lights on the dashboard.

Cons: I ordered a Hyundai i30 or similar. Europcar who were the supplier of the car do not have a Hyundai in their fleet at Heathrow (according to the Desk Agent). So similar to them was the Renault Clio 4. I ordered the i30 as it had substantial boot space for luggage and the Clio provided did not have anywhere near the same boot space. So, I conclude that this marketing/selling of the Car Details in the Rental Voucher is totally misleading.

Cons: We traveled from T2 to T3 after paying for terminal pickup vs travelling on the bus to the pickup depot. When we got to the desk in t3 at 730pm they guys was not interested in helping at all. Clearly had clocked out and off his shift (closing the counter). He offerde no solution other than to take the bus

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Mileage: 1000 miles per rental, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 1935.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Road tax, Vehicle registration fee, Environmental charge, Free modifications, State Tax.

Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 22 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

UK customers must bring their DVLA check code along with their photo ID. This check code can be obtained from the DVLA website.
UK residents that hold a non-UK licence may drive in the UK for up to 12 months from the time they become a resident. After 12 months, the overseas licence will be deemed illegal in the UK and it must be exchanged for the UK equivalent.
Residents of the following country(ies): United Kingdom are required to present the following document(s): passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, additional ID showing home address (e.g. Utility bill) in order to pick up the car.

Residents of the following country(ies): Non-UK are required to present the following document(s): passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, additional ID showing home address (e.g. Utility bill), proof of entry/exit into/out of the country in order to pick up the car.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
A deposit will be charged if one of the following cards is used: Debit cards.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.

If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Diners, Visa Debit Card, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card, MasterCard debit card.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Ireland, Northern Ireland.
crossing country borders is forbidden for certain car groups.
Written permission from the rental company is required.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Winter tires are recommended during the winter season but are not mandatory.
Snow chains are allowed in icy/snowy conditions.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 30 minutes.
