Drivalia at London Heathrow Airport

Cons: I intentionally book the rental early to avoid waiting time after landing. They rented the car I paid for to other customers! What is so ridiculous is that they asked me for another 360 pounds for a car just turned available!! How the fuck does that make sense! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK!

Pros: Nothing - don’t waste your time and money

Cons: Almost 4 hour wait, then they scam you, they will always find a way to get money at the end when you drop the car off. Lied and said I didn’t return fuel like for like- when I did! And have evidence but then I can get a hold of them after they have charged me incorrectly!

Cons: time to find the transfer bus. time for collecting the car was ridiculous in a boiling hot little office without air con. if you are in a hurry, avoid Drivalia. one of staff were rude telling i was asking the wrong person. Never again with Drivalia. 👎🏿

Pros: This company is a trap for foreign tourists, do not use. I arrived 10 minutes outside the 1 hours slot they offer Discover Car clients because Drivalia's bus service wasnt working so I eventually had to take a take costing gib30. They had two cars in the lot none of which was one I booked. As I was ten minutes late they then said it was my problem and I had to pay another 200% on the hire cost for one of the cars they had (another gpb1000). They were rude and unhelpful.

Cons: clearly the business model is to rip off foreign tourists. do not use Drivalia and Discovercars.com

Pros: They did there best to give us some upgrades and perks at no cost due to our wait and they were polite at the service counter.

Cons: I arrived 15 minutes past my booked pick-up time. Drivalia had no cars to rent. I was one of a group of five people waiting for cars. I was told I had to wait 1 and 1/2 hours for a car. I waited 2 1/2 hours to get my car. They did give us a no cost second driver and a car upgrade due to our wait.

Pros: Due to my flight delay, the rental car agent can’t provide my original rental car. Even though I have already phone to them my situation, and ask them keep my car. Finally, they need me to upgrade my rental car type. I need to pay more.

Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. I was able to get a car with a manual transmission which is what I requested.

Cons: They have a policy to cancel your reservation if you don't show up within a short period of your pickup time. They gave my booked car class away and I was forced to take a smaller car, or pay for a bigger one. I did call and inform them of a flight delay. This is an unhelpful policy. The interior of the car had stains on the seats.

Pros: They were very polite and efficient in giving to us the car. They initially gave us another car but after insisting on theoriginal car they obliged without much hassle. Delivery inspection was fast and efficient. Both pick up and delivery was about 10 miniutes.

Cons: Getting from terminal 4 to Drivalia was a bit confusing. This was not a shuttle by Drivalia itself but an independent company. It didnt help that bus driver was a bit vague and was going to charge us. after we showed him the booking form and infrming him again that we were going to Drivalia did he take us for free.

Cons: I was very disappointed that buried in the fine print, I was penalized because my flight was late. I have rented many cars in my life, but never penalized due to a late/delayed flight. Also, the insurance situation should have been better explained. I thought I purchased complete coverage at the time of reservation, only to find out it wasn't complete comverage. I feel that I was scammed and taken advantage of as an internation client. I would never rent a car from Drivalia ever again.

Pros: Except the car everything else was fine. The car was extremely in bad condition and would request that this car be scrapped off.

Cons: The car was showing low engine oil and was continuously beeping because of it. The car had delayed pick up speed and was very hard to maneovar due to vehicle condition was not proper. The car had jammed stearing which was very hard. The air pressure in the tyres was very off. The worst experience with any car rental till date in any country.

Cons: Access with Hotel Hoppa terrible, H2D regularly misses it's schedule, had to wait 1hr + to get a return to T2 after drop off. Drivalia car pickup process hopelessly slow, took over an hour with just two customers ahead of me.

Cons: it's a scam, i had to pay for the insurance twice, once when i reserved the car, and a second time when I picked up the car

Cons: First off when we arrived there had been a system failure, obviously not their fault but everyone was waiting over an hour with no one informing us of what was happening and there was no queue it felt like a free for all. Then I forgot my physical credit card which again was my fault but they were so inflexible. They didn’t let us use the 2nd driver’s credit card and when we tried to switch me as the main driver to her they said no. Fair enough if we’d already collected the car but we hadn’t

Cons: The car privided had a big impact mark and a hole in the bodywork. Was covered in scratches on almost every panel. The radiator cap was not properly fitted. The car ran out of radiator fluid after approx 60 miles, went into overheat and limp mode. This was resolved with refilling and securing the cap. Luckily we had come off the motor way.

Pros: did the online checkin providing Licence, Passport and a bank statement, but Drivalia needed a second bank statement with the address. Never ever had that level of scrutiny bar none, as it is easier to setup a bank account and borrow money to buy a house.

Cons: Only one member of staff and then waiting an hour to process, after I spent an hour downloading and online checking.

Pros: Dropping car agent was really nice and attentive

Cons: Excessive and not clearly specified initially £1500 retention that forced to pay £90 insurance fee, which is 150% the cost of the rental, the picking car agent was rude and not friendly, location of the rental not convenient.

Cons: The queue was over an hour to pick up the car which I didn’t factor in. I needed the car ASAP but got delayed with my plan. Also the car had check engine light on and was in poor condition with lots of marks on it.

Cons: The car was unavailable when I got to my booking, I had booked the car for 12 and reached the desk at 12:55. There was only one agent and he was busy with two ladies who were there discussing their booking for 20 minutes, by the time he attended to me, he told me that my car was unavailable and his behaviour turned very rude and didn't help with another booking.

Pros: Very disappointed. We picked up from Heathrow two hours after our booking time and our car had been rented to someone else. This is not mentioned anywhere in the T and C’s. When we enquired for another car we were informed there were none available. We kicked up a mighty fuss and requested to speak to the manager and was eventually offered another much bigger car, which was double the price and consumed a lot more fuel. Message to Discover Cars…..please mention this in the voucher.

Cons: They were a little slow getting through the queue of people, understandable with the train strike causing more people to hire cars.

Pros: Complete rip off, I purchased full cover insurance but when I got there I had to pay another £400 to be able to drive away. If I hadn’t of been traveling for 18 hours and wasn’t so tired I would of told them to F..k off but It was late and I was desperate to complete my journey which was another 4 hour drive.

Pros: Raj was excellent. He helped me, encouraged my driving with a hybrid and helped me get a petrol car as I was nervous about the electric models. Raj is fantastic.

Later I found they also charged us $100 for cdw when we placed a $1500 deposit and said we declined it. Also their "premium" car wouldn't shut off half of the time. My husband had to try to shut

Cons: The shuttle service is terrible and the location inconvenient. There are not enough shuttles to and from the airport, they did not run on a convenient schedule, and the timetables were confusing. Due to appointments and time constraints we had to book taxis to and from the airport. Because of this major issue we will not be using Drivalia ever again.

Pros: The process of picking up and dropping off the car was smooth. The car is fairly new and in good condition. There were no breakdowns during the trip.

Cons: The rental desk is a bit far from the airport. The car provided is not the one shown in the quote. The car is not very clean.

Pros: They basically did not provide the service as agreed as the car was not available when I went to pick up

Cons: Extremley poor attitude of the staff member at the counter. Vehicle not being available for pick up. Not providing an alternate vehicle

Cons: Iva the girl at the counter was rude and could not care less that she has given the car we have paid deposit for and has no other car for us. Blamed us that we were not on time, even though we had booked two cars and had 9 people altogether she was not interested.first she said we can have one car the 4 seater that we booked and she had no other 5 seater even though it was booked and paid for, they messed up and blamed the third party agency that sold us the car, then blamed us no empathy.

The piece of paper showing pickup condition was badly printed and almost blank so the random pen marks to register various prior scratches and damages on the car made no sense. The car only had a quarter tank of fuel so had to waste more time finding gas station to fill up before getting going.
