Cons: I ordered a small, fuel-efficient car, but I received a large vehicle with high fuel consumption, and one of the driver's side mirrors was broken. Additionally, I had to pay an extra 15 Euro fee for travel to Bansko. I requested snow chains, but instead of renting out high-quality iron chains, they only had plastic chains for sale. These cost me 15 Euro and were completely ineffective."

Pros: They picked me up relatively quickly from the airport.

Cons: The company treated me unfairly and dishonestly. The car already had damage when I received it, but they later blamed me and charged me a significant amount of money. Additionally, I had requested a baby seat in advance, which they failed to provide. I was instructed to purchase one locally with the promise of reimbursement, but I was never reimbursed. Furthermore, the car had visible damage both inside and outside, was poorly cleaned, and had a strong, unpleasant odor, like menstrual blood

Pros: Our flight landed earlier than expected, but this was no problem and they sent a representative to collect us and to complete the paperwork. This process was quick and we were on our way after about 20 minutes. The car we hired was very clean and tidy and was extremely good on fuel (Toyota Yaris Hybrid). When we returned the vehicle at the end of the rental, the handover process was quick and simple.

Pros: Brilliant service! I rent cars often in Sofia and used to rent from many different companies, but this so far is one of my favourites. Fast pick up and drop off. New clean and well-maintained hybrid car. No push for insurance at all. Friendly and easy to deal with staff. Recommend and will use it again.

Pros: Almost everything. Very efficient service. The representative Kristian is amazing. Explained everything,never pushed for insurance. Very passionate with his role. He is a huge credit for the company.

Cons: Only thing I didn't like it that customer have to wash the car prior to returning. Imagine..big family,car full of laggage and kids and you are forein in unknown country! And have to unload the car at the car wash,wash it,then load it again. Could be a serious challenge. Yes,there is a option to pay 13 euros for cleaning,but..the feeling wil be...

Pros: The car was okay, the pickup and drop off from the airport was perfect.

Cons: They claimed I have insurance only if someone ran into me, but if it's my fault there is no insurance at all and no limit, and I will have to pay in place the full amount of the damage and only later on reclaim it from discovery car which they said they are not familiar with. I have bought full insurance from discovery car and wasn't sure how it will end.

Pros: I did not end up renting the booked car. The booking confirmation was misleading. The company representative failed to honour the agreement I received via Discover cars. I was pressed into entering a new contract, which I refused. I was left without a car rental at the end of the working day at the airport with a child in my arm after a 24-hour trip.

Pros: The great company! I have rented cars many times in different countries of the world and I can say that the "Green Rent a Car" service is the best. Great staff responded promptly to all questions. We got a newer car of a higher class at no extra charge. We returned the car at night. We were met by an employee of the company and he took the car very quickly. Definitely use this company in the future.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 400.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Road tax, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 21.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 3 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

The Security Deposit will double if the renter's age is from 18 to 20.

A novice driver fee will apply to drivers who have held their driver license for less than 3 years.
The Security Deposit will double if the renter has had his/her driver license less than 3 years(s).

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the national driver license is not written in English.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the Geneva / Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (e.g., China), an official translation of the license in the following language(s): English, together with the original license, must be presented.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit or debit card on a main driver's name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy

If using the following payment method(s): Cash, the Security Deposit will double.
Security Deposit will be doubled for using the following services: crossing country borders.
The Security Deposit will double if the renter's age is from 18 to 20.
The Security Deposit will double if the renter has had his/her driver license less than 3 years(s).

In the event of damages to the car, without providing a police report, CDW and any other additional protection become voided.
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
crossing country borders is available, when requested in advance, for rental periods of at least 3 days and will require leaving double the regular deposit amount.
Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Greece, Romania, Serbia, North Macedonia.
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

During winter season (from 01.11 until 31.03) Winter tires are included in price for renters from the following countries: Bulgaria.

Additional charges will be applied.
The first additional driver is allowed free of charge.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.11 to 01.03. Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.
