Essence, like a lot of rental companies in Turkey, doesn’t accept debit cards, so you’ll have to have a credit card to leave the deposit with in order to rent from them. With many locations in the country, though, Essence is a great choice if you plan on picking up a vehicle in one city and dropping it off in another, which is a great way to see more of the lovely country with the time you have.
