SIXT at Bucharest Airport

Pros: Very helpful, kind and professional team is working on sixt OTP office. Fast pick-up and drop-off speeds like couple of minutes only. Thy upgrade my car since they have no available compact car when i arrived the OTP airport. Everything was awesome, i am happy to choose sixt for my trip.

Cons: Not directly related to Sixt, but there isn't much information / signs in the airport to direct for the rental area.

Pros: The whole experience in general was great. Car condition and cleanliness was perfect. Price was very good. Staff on the airport was very helpful and friendly.

Pros: All the process was smooth, and staff was really friendly and have explained all the options that we have. It was a really good experience and we also got a car in a very good shape!

Cons: Unfriendly pick up agents. Agent didn't bother to open the boot so I can get my luggage, just went inside the building and left me waiting outside.Car had passenger airbag switched off. Cleaning liquid was either empty or just water - which froze and was unusable.

Cons: I was upgraded to C200 4Matic LIM, (which appeared in the contract in the SIXT rental desk), but I was given C180 (different car and plate) for some reason by their garage.

Cons: I was quite disappointed with the car itself. The equipment was very basic — for example, there were no sensors at all: no parking sensors, no safety features such as blind-spot warning, etc., and no touchscreen. In addition, the USB port didn’t work, and the car had quite a few scratches on it.

Cons: The shuttle to the pick-up site was very very slow . We had to wait about 40 minutes outside the terminal to catch it .

Cons: Not that easy to find a car return point. Had to call the company in order to get directions since Google maps continuously took me to the wrong place

Cons: The waiting area was rather small for the number of customers. We did not need to wait long anyway, so no big problem.

Cons: I rented an Renauli Clio and got an Dacia Logan despice my scepticism. The Dacia was brand new and full of non working features, like FOULTY sign rekognition, whitch did, that the car was noisy all the time. (beeping). So each time you got in the car, you had to shut ALL the features off ( speed limit, sign rekognition, lane assist, etc.

Cons: We had to wait 35min (2 clients before us, it did not go well for them as well) The agent said DiscoverCar did mistakes and he tried to negociate with us: He does not rent snow chains while sixt says to rent snow chains He said we booked only 1 child seat which was not true He accepts debit card only if we take full insurance…That really looked like forced sale ! We had to pay the same price but without snow chains. The car came without full tank of fuel No windshield washer fluid at all

Pros: Almost only provider of automatic 7-seater cars in Bucharest. They have a smooth operation, all was quick and efficient

Cons: The car had cheap winter tyres - Wastelake - warn down to 2-3 mm on the front axle. I guess was lucky that it didn't even rain during the renatal period.

Cons: When we phoned them they’ve tried to charge us €80 for a car, saying they have nothing else. Through Discover cars we managed to get a car at €33.

Cons: They gave us a faulty car , when we told them , they said we don’t know how to use the car. We lost 2 hours to pick up the car from the airport. They say the car is in the terminal but you only pay in the terminal, you still need to catch a bus to pick up the car. Awful customer service. Wouldn’t recommend
