Pick-up instructions
Exit the luggage pick-up area turn right and follow the way to the new shopping area. You will see also signs indicating rent a car services. After finishing the rental agreement a shuttle will pick you up in front of arrival terminal and drive you to the Sixt parking located inside Sky Parking, just exiting the airport. The Sixt driver will deliver you the rented car there.
Drop-off instructions
Please park the Sixt vehicle on the Sixt dedicated parking places inside Sky Parking. Please follow the Sixt Parking signs. A Sixt driver will check in the car and a Shuttle will drive you to Departure Terminal. If you wish to reconfirm your return time please call 0040730040971.

Cons: I rented an Renauli Clio and got an Dacia Logan despice my scepticism. The Dacia was brand new and full of non working features, like FOULTY sign rekognition, whitch did, that the car was noisy all the time. (beeping). So each time you got in the car, you had to shut ALL the features off ( speed limit, sign rekognition, lane assist, etc.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 750.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.

Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): EU countries.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the Geneva / Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (e.g., China), an official translation of the license in the following language(s): Romania, together with the original license, must be presented.
Licences issued in China are not accepted.
Learner's permits are not accepted; a full driver's license is required.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: Passport or ID card.
Deposit and deductible policy
Cross-border policy
Crossing country borders is allowed to the following country: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Montenegro, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland.
The Premium, Fullsize, Special car group(s) may not be used for International One Way, crossing country borders rentals.
Written permission from the rental company is required.
Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office.
If traveling to multiple countries, the renter only pays for the highest crossing country borders fee. In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Ski rack, Snow chains, Winter tires, Wi-Fi.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

During winter season (from 01.11 until 31.03) Winter tires are included in price.
Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Diesel vehicles are available for an additional charge.
Diesel vehicles are available only by request upon arrival.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
