Cons: instead of doing a pre authorization hold of the deposit, they charged the deposit and amount still owed. The paper work however did not reflect what was charged. And upon returning the car, and even now (3 days later) we still have not received any email or confirmation that everything was in order and the deposit will be returned. A little concerning..

Pros: The staff were friendly and allowed me to use the toilet facilities while I waited for the vehicle.

Cons: The staff should have informed me that the cruise control on the car was disabled before the vehicle was handed over to me.

Cons: Found out that other platforms or service providers offered better rates and much lower daily insurance fees for full coverage (with AUD$$0 access). Other company's daily full insurance is only $14/day vs Simba's $40/day.

Cons: The Simba agent telling me the price per day for insurance, and the sign in bright lights behind him clearly stating that it was $5 cheaper per day than what he was trying to charge me.

Pros: Kind service, easy, free transit to the airport. Very good car! Not to expensive. The tank wasn’t filled at pickup, but noted, and I did not have to return it with a full tank, so good solution.

Cons: There were a lot of little schratches and little dents in the car, that were not noted or fotographed. We returned it but did not recieve a confirmation by e-mail e.g that everything was alright. Only by word of the staff. So hopefully we will get our deposit back…

Cons: It was a scam cos they are linked to discover cars who are a UK based company with no contact details who advertise in dollars and then when you pay it's actually in US dollars. So I thought it was 500aud for 4 days which turned out to be 881usd and then the reservation is mad by simba car rentals Sydney. Who nobody has heard of who charges their own separate rental fee for those days and adds it to the overall bill after you drop off car and they said don't know who their 3rd party partners are

Pros: Car very good and clean, price very competitive, overall. Staff also good , except for one lady. Staff should spend some time ensuring drivers are fully aware how cars operate. They just hand you the keys. Issue with boot licking on one car, rang and emailed Simba Sydney , told someone would call me, no call back.

Cons: The lady on the desk picking up on our first booking at Melbourne was very rude and charged a higher ice for the additional driver than was quoted originally. When this was questioned she showed me fine print that Simba car hire can change the prices and stated Discover cars don’t dictate the prices. This is very bad business for both you and Simba as booking is made on prices quoted. She also charged for a sat nav system that wasn’t in the car, car operated from Apple Maps.

Pros: You need to pick up your customers from international airport as well. Not them get a but to domestic. No clear instructions you need to go down to arrival to get the shuttle in domestic. When anyone arrives they need to be picked up from arrival that is normal.. Thank you

Cons: Drop off at Brisbane Airport was outside their office hours so had to park at Airport park at an additional cost to us ($75), plus no one to hand the keys to so were left in the glove box unlocked as per their instructions. It was fortunate that I made contact the day prior to dropping off, there was no offer of communications from them as to drop off arrangements.

Found a Kia forum with many cars with the same problem and tip to start the car in neutral. It was a hit and miss sometimes but we managed to get the car started. Sometimes within a half hour of trying..

Cons: We did send some emails during our trip to Simba with the problems and we said we would understand it won’t be fixed because of Christmas. And we would try to start with the forum tips. They responded after a couple of days … not with a suggestion how to solve the problem but just with a thank you we keep trying to start the car ourselves…

Pros: Although the car hire is located outside of the airport, we followed the pickup instructions and we were collected from the airport within 10 minutes. Collection of the car was very quick and efficient. The car was excellent. I am extremely happy

Cons: Everything. They closed and had no direction of how to get to them other than to contact them and when tried calling they were closed. Very stressful start to our holiday. We were helped instead by hertz rentals.

Pros: They picked me up from the airport and took me to pick up the car. They gave me a new Hyundai Tuscon, and in two weeks in Sydney, I made 1500km. When I finished with the car they drove me back to the airport.

Pros: The car is very new. The processing time is quite short. The final shuttle bus to the airport is also fast.

Cons: I called 4 times for them to pick me up at the airport and the call was always rejected. then I tried the extension for new bookings and they picked up very quickly. it seems like they put more effort into getting new bookings than into giving a good services to exiting customers.
