Europcar at Sydney Airport

Pros: Fast efficient service and easy to contact if an issue arose, also very fast to resolve issue

Cons: The car given didn't match the expectation from either the orthogonal booking or the agents statement "I'll give you a good one,." poor visibility, no power, lack of consistency with GPS, tiny boot space could only hold one suitcase 2/3 of our luggage was on the back seat

Pros: Price was great for the car I got

Cons: Check in experience was rushed and he really didn't car/want to be there

Cons: They obviously have no interest in what Discover Cars syas is the agreement; the car was dreadful (MG - transmissions was awful etc); the car was not clean inside - windows needed claening.

Cons: Took 1 hour to reach Europcar pickup from sydney airport. Europcar staff at pickup and drop off were verging on rude. After an unexpected hour on the bus requested to use their restroom and refused. No invoice issued at drop off. Took rental payment from account twice. All in all not an experience we will repeat. There are plenty of other rental companies.

Pros: Polite and courteous; I was fortunate to get an upgrade to the vehicle I'd rented to a brand new Ford Explorer.

Cons: Not a criticism of Europcar per say, but I'm always amazed at why there is so much paperwork and manual processing involved with rental services. I deal with a company called National when travelling to Washington DC. They have an online app which has all my details stored in, which allows me to go straight to a parking lot and choose any vehicle that's in the lot. I then get in and drive straight away. The vehicle is registered at the exit gate.

Cons: difficult to deal with and refused to accept that insurance was paid, pressured us to get more insurance with a blanket statement that you are liable for difficult to deal with, were very adamant that insurance was not paid even though we showed them the receipt so paid extra as the risk was too high. was not impressed

Pros: Car booked was upgraded without additional cost.

Cons: Only 1 agent on for the busiest rental agency at the airport.

Cons: I wasn't very happy with the service attendants. They were disrespectful in the fact they were making comments to each other in their own language and then smiling. The other issue I had was asking me to sign the no damage clause before viewing the car and them telling me the cars are all pre checked and there wouldn't be an issue. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case as on checking the car ourselves found there was damage on the car. Called the attendant the view and photo for records.

Pros: I didn't like anything, Eurocar lied to me when i called to inform them my jetstar flight had been delayed by 45 mins, they reassured me someone would be at the desk and wait after their closing time which was 10:30 and I arrived at 10:45, the other hire companies has managed to do this.

Cons: No after hours service, or any help after my and was left stranded in Sydney at 12am with no transport or accommodation or means of hiring a car from another source.

Pros: Absolutely nothing

Cons: Charged for full size vehicle but received mid size. Charged for full cover from discovery but had to pay full cover from Europcar. Service was average and will never rent again with Europcar car or discover cars

Pros: I honestly cannot find one thing about the entire experience with Europcar at Sydney Airport good. Nothing at all.

Cons: Collection , I did my normal check the vehicle to make sure it was okay outside/inside I noticed the vehicle was asking for an immediate service. When I brought this to the attention of the EC worker, I was told not to worry to “ignore it” and “it will be fine” well it ended up not being fine which resulted in a EC service person needing to come out to have a look at the car, he deemed the car unroadworthy. 2 days before Christmas and I’m trying to head to QLD.

Made us park in airport paided parking $20 .Also directed us inside airport terminal but once we was given right information inside airport and got to your office. He seen us and put his head down

Cons: The cost of booking and renting the vehicle was misleading and deceptive. Hidden fees and extra charges were only revealed when we picked up the car from Sydney airport which due to timing restriction left us no choice other than to just accept the charges.
