Pros: Discovery Car.com made my reservation with with Bargain Car Rentals in Sydney. Firstly, it should be made clear that customers will require a working mobile which dial Bargain Car Rentals in order to book the airport transfer. My mobile SIM only allowed data and there was no WhatsApp contact number provided for WiFi calling. Also, Bargain Car Rentals off a live chat facility on their website, but this was not manned for over 30 minutes of trying to make contact around 4pm in the afternoon.

Cons: I had to borrow a mobile phone from an airport security officer in order to make a call and book my transfer collection. I'd preregistered all the requirements for my booking, but this made no difference at their office and I still had to wait in the normal queue. On the return of my vehicle I was informed that my deposit would be returned in full and this would be confirmed via email. I never received any email, so had to reach out to Bargain Car only to be informed that they dont email return?

Cons: The phoning of a number on arrival and leaving a voicemail not knowing if it has been acknowledged or not. I didn’t receive an sms but a minibus randomly arrived to drop off someone else and took us at the same time.

Pros: Our initial car broke down (issue with gearbox) and they replace it on spot. It was just one call to the rental company and they organize everything including recover from road, transport to compound and giving us replacement car. They even let us choose if we want to drive MG or Haval.

Upon feedback to staff - staff said "yea there's no one answeing the phone". Scam: A male staff at Sydney kept pressing for additional insurance, even we showed our own insurance, he insisted ours was for third-party damage only, which is false. If you refuse his insurance, he would throw a temper and said "everything will be on you for any damages!"

Cons: We had to wait for an hour for the shuttle pickup from the airport and had 2 travel exhausted children. The car had a flat tire when we received it

Cons: We were left in the pouring rain at Sydney Int Airport for over an hour (and in the dark) after we advised we were there to be picked up The agent at the rental place obviously wanted to go home rather than be of any assistance. When I asked for the condition report of the vehicle she said they'd send it tomorrow and if I wanted to check the car, do it before I left. The car was left in the dark and it was raining! The next day I noticed an unreported dent on driver's door and a small scratch

Cons: The car was a little dirty when we picked it up and they did offer to reclean it, but we just wanted to get going. Other than that, fine.

Cons: I had signed up for a Corrolla size car and was disappointed to get a small MG that only just fitted my cases in and was seriously underpowered. It was not too clean on the outside and had several dents in it. No one checked out the car with me. I was just advised at the desk simply to take lots of photos. The engine hesitated quite a lot at times under load and I was expecting it to stop on me. Thankfully it didn't.

But we are from the UK and therefore this would cost us a fortune to phone a OZ number from our mobiles. We eventually found a phone to use from the airport but this was quite stressful. Other car rental companies gave us a link to click which we could do from the free airport WiFi. This is a better idea

Cons: I picked the car on Dec 7th at 3pm. It broke down at 4.50pm. I had to wait until the next day at 11.20am to get a new car, and it costed me more than 200$ in hotel and Uber. They also informed me I will have to pay later several hundreds dollars for the towing of the vehicle.

Pros: When dropping off the car, i was very close to close and had not filled up the car with fuel, the agent was very kind to help me and allow me time to trive across the road to fill the tank

Cons: 1. When I picked up the car, it had a huge undocumented scrape down the side of the vehicle. I needed to point it out and have them reprint the vehicle report 2. They said they would send my contract via email and after not receiving it for over 24 hours, I had to ask them for it.

Pros: David went above and beyond to set up my mobile connection to the gps function.

Cons: Was advised to sit inside to wait for shuttle, which should be 20 minutes. Waited nearly an hour and, if it hadn’t been for another client mentioning that the shuttle was there, I doubt a staff member would have let me know. Also, no client toilet facilities that I could see. I think No Birds are your strongest competitor and they perform far better in this space.

Cons: Wrong card charged with $500 hold. Then it was cancelled at your end but not refunded. I had to call three days later when the refund was still not through. When I collected the car my car was given to someone else and I had to wait while another was cleaned. The entire process from the call at the airport to drive away took almost 2 hours. Also disappointing that I couldn't pair my Android phone with the stereo to use Google maps given I was driving in a strange place.

Pros: I got to the drop off over an hour before my flight, I asked when I got there how often the bus comes, I was told 10 minutes, after 10 minutes I asked again and I was told 5 minutes, eventually the bus showed up and I said to the driver are we able to leave straight away as we have been here a while and I'm running late, and he needed to go to the toilet, fair enough, I'm reasonable but proceeded to drive 10 KMs under the limit all the way to the terminal taking a good 15 minutes to get there,

Cons: At this point I was sobbing and instead of dropping at the drop off in front of the doors he took us to the uber drop off and we ran to the desk where we were told we had missed the flight and I started hyperventilating and the staff pushed me through, to finish off I sobbed the whole way home on the flight, I never expected the driver to speed but I'm sure I read that the service from the airport to the yard was around 20 minutes, I would have called a taxi if I had of known how carefree he was
