BABADAN RENT A CAR&TRAVEL AGENCY at Dalaman Airport

Pros: They were very professional.

Cons: We did not get the car we ordered, but a very old almost dead car. Stearing wheel did not turn well, door at the side did not open most of the times, drivers door did not open well etc etc. Very bad car & much too expensive.

Cons: i needed to put oil in the car shortly after picking it up, car was in desperate need of a tune/service, it ran poorly, i believe the car had had a complete side respray but i cant prove this, the car felt like a complete lemon, and lastly after driving for over an hour to drop the car off at the rental office i then was expected to chauffer the rental man to the airport. overall a very poor experience, i will not be using them again.

Cons: Initially offered us a van type vehicle - nothing like one booked. Managed to provide correct class of car but in very poor condition. Well over 135,000kms on the clock. Poor starter. Noise. Chugged along. Doubt it would pass MOT in UK. However it did last the 10 days!

Cons: State of vehicle, having to pay to get out of airport car park when they picked us up. returned vehicle they just said you drive to airport and got in back - no customer service at all. Vehicle was in terrible condition - there was a perfectly good car there when we arrived that we thought was ours but they gave us this old van thing - we even got waved at by locals as they thought it was farmer bob from up the road!! We booked a saloon and paid £165 for the week - we did not get what we paid.

Cons: Previous damage to care not recorded on paperwork, agent overslept and had to be called which delayed pick up. Pick up a car which is empty of petrol is not great at 4 am in the morning.

Cons: We weren’t given an option on the car. The agent wasn’t waiting for us and had no idea where to meet. We called and he arrived 15 minutes later.

Cons: They didn't offer to reimburse our taxi fare to get home when car broke down nor the hire fee for the day it broke down.

Pros: They answer calls - but I am not sure how easy communication would have been, had I not been fluent in Turkish.

Cons: Agency claimed that my reservation had not been confirmed and were not there at the airport to meet me. Was difficult to solve this by phone and it took time. Small and old car. Central locking broke down. At least tyres were in good condition and no other problems during 2 weeks hire period.

Pros: Meet & Greet at the airport as stated, quick and easy collection of car. There was a slight language barrier- asking for directions out of the airport, to the nearest petrol station etc

Cons: To return we were told to drop the car at the main office just down the road and they would transfer us to departures. The Non English speaking Rep was getting into a car with another couple going to the airport but when we arrived he told us to drive the car with the other couple to departures. He could not tell us where to leave the car or the keys so we said No. Eventually he got another vehicle and drove all to the departure drop off point. Luckily we had allowed plenty of time.

Cons: Losing an hour when we arrived and still had to drive to datca, difference between midnight and 1.00 o clock

Cons: The Rep wasn't at the airport when we came out of the terminal. He arrived some 15 to 20 mins later. This was worrying at the time as we landed late at night. All else was fine.

Pros: Car hires have become so cheap that many car companies try to catch the hirer out with extras such as collision damage wave or charging for cleaning when you return the car. Barbadan made no attempt to do any of this. We were two hours late arriving and they were still at the airport waiting for us, the handover was quick and simple and based on mutual trust, handing back the car was easy even though we arrived earlier than we had arranged. The staff were very friendly.

Cons: In retrospect the handover could have been more thorough - I had to work out a few things about how the car worked such as how to open the petrol cap! But this is very minor.

Pros: pick up and collection okay. Paying by credit card in the dark using the bonnet as a desk was a bit iffy!

Cons: Car was old and not what we booked. In bad condition and not clean. Seemed that they have us their company vehicle which was a very old Fiat Doblo when we booked to hire a Ford Fiesta or similar. Expected a newer car as this one seemed 10 to 15 years old and had done nearly 140,000km. Vehicle condition was poor, lots of dents, radio not working, air con not properly working and lights illegal as we got stopped by police. Agency not at airport to meet us as we had booked and had to ring them.

Cons: The car was delivered at first without the baby seat that was originally ordered. When I telephoned for the baby seat I was told that someone would bring it. It arrived about 45 minutes later and had crumbs of food all over it (it hadn't been cleaned). The car whilst working, was very 'shabby' indeed and stunk of stale cigarettes. Also the representative was not at the airport waiting as I was told, I wandered around looking for him. He eventually arrived about 10 minutes afterwards

Cons: car was horrible , it was a big crush on the back and scratch everywhere .of course wasn’t happy about it and told him don’t want this car and pls change it but he refuse it and said they don’t have another car at all .then we noticed there is a noise from break and we called them to help but he refused and he said its weekend and they can’t do anything .i said to him i have a little baby and don’t feel safe because of the cars break is not good but he didn’t really care .so no recommend at all.

Pros: When we refused to accept the first car they sorted out a new one relatively quickly.

Cons: The first car supplied was old, beaten up, smelly, not very clean, no air con and several seatbelts did not work. We refused to accept the car, Your agent made a call and arrange for another van/car to be available 50 kim away so we had to drive to next destination not knowing where it actually was, Fortunately we found it. We then switched to a much better vehicle. Why didn't they give us a good one in the first place? We wasted over an hour on arrival sorting everything out.

Cons: When we arrived no one was at the airport to pick us up at 22:30 .He said they came at 10:30 in the morning. The car they gave us didn't have any gas.$119 weekly rent went up to 20 Euro a day about $150.Car we were given had no gas and 4 days later brook down with half thank gas worth $40.New car had no gas either.When I returned that car it had about$20 gas in it.I couldn't risk running out of gas.So it cost me $80 more then I would normally pay.Never again

Cons: Could not accept any US credit card. Had to pay with cash, which meant I had to also pay for insurance, which comes free when I pay with credit card. No fuel in car. Car doors did not lock. Agent was late to meet us at both arrival and departure. Agent has yet to send me a receipt, which he promised to email. I request a deposit refund and an itemized receipt.

Pros: Our flight was delayed, so we got in very late, but despite this, we managed to meet the rep very easily. The car didn't break.

Cons: The car supplied came from Pegasus rental, a company I had chosen not to book with but is obviously part of or the same as Babadan. The condition of the car was very poor. Seats and upholstery stained, bodywork badly chipped and resprayed. The rep hadn't brought the car seats for our kids that we'd ordered, so he called a colleague who brought some. When they finally arrived one of the seats was clearly for a baby and far too small. So we had to drive to the rental office to get another. The rep gave us some very vague directions then drove off, leaving us to find our way out of the car park and having to pay the parking charge ourselves (good thing I'd brought some local cash). Found the office after another ten minutes of driving and got another car seat, although this one was also too small it just about did the job. I then had to fill the car up with petrol, it was given to us with just enough fuel to get to the first petrol station out of the airport. All this was about 2 am in the morning, after having been delayed about 4hrs at Gatwick, so I was not in a good mood. On returning the car we were asked to drive back to the office outside of the airport. Our map app took us down miles of rough farm road, and when we finally got there the office was empty. I called the rep and a driver turned up about ten minutes later and we had to drive him to the airport. All in all, I wouldn't recommend Pegasus.

Cons: Babadan provided us with a 9 seater minibus as the 7 seater dacia lodgy we booked was not available. 2 days later they'd exchange for the car we booked. OK fine. Then he demanded £100 more than was confirmed by Discoverhire on our emails and car hire voucher. The price we had booked was for the smallest car. 10pm, 2 tired toddlers, refused to pay more. Waited 2 hours, calling agents, boss etc. Then they left us stranded at airport.... never again.
