Cons: Issues with the collected car as not maintained properly, had to return and explain three times as no communication between managers/shifts, and then the replacement car had an issue due to lack of maintenance too - both vehicles needed AdBlue purchasing by me and the first was so low that filling up didn’t rectify the issue and it needed me to go back to Manchester to replace the car (a 3 hr round trip!)
Pros: Returning the car was perfect, quick and easy. The agent was kind and help us getting refund. See what we didn't like and understand.
Cons: We had flat tire.Couldn't get assistance from the agents where we got the car. After getting in touch with the UK alamo assistance we could not get a replacement of the car, thus had to fix the flat tires ourselves in a Quick Fit, which took left us without a car for 24 hours. Very Disappointed at having no way to get where we headed to, moreover' had to cancel lunch at a Michelin 1 star restaurant. Too bad!

Cons: Not the car I reserved. Waited 1/2 to get an automatic. And then got a smaller car. Was told I would get discounted rate as compensation for my time. Paid going rate for the class I eventually got. Was not offered a free upgrade as they didn’t have my class. Only offered a downgrade at going rate. Drop off- no clear instructions for key drop as early flight. Got soaked, missed bus looking for key drop. No parking.

A Young driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.
UK residents that hold a non-UK licence may drive in the UK for up to 12 months from the time they become a resident. After 12 months, the overseas licence will be deemed illegal in the UK and it must be exchanged for the UK equivalent.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In order to pick up the car, domestic renters must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, additional ID showing home address (e.g. Utility bill), proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill), ID with photo. In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher, flight information.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.
Visa Electron, Cash, Cheques, Diners, Debit cards, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.
The purchase of the following insurance(s): Additional Insurance is mandatory.

In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 29 minutes.
If the customer is late for a return for more than 29 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges.
