Pros: Staff members at start and end were so helpful - they made the experience! We had a baby and they catered for everything. Would recommend
Cons: Location of rental office is not located at the Manchester Airport Car Village. You travel on free airport shuttle bus to car rental village. Then phone ACE & they collect you from the car village. This can add time onto the rental process, so you must allow extra time for this but it was very smooth for us and very efficient.

Pros: None really because i paid for extra insurance and i never get it back despite the car was not available
Cons: They said there is only another car that was 4 times the price i booked!!
Pros: The service was fine, but we were concerned about the fact that the car kept showing a message saying "error gearbox. You can drive on"

Cons: I payed for an intermediate car (similar to a VW passat size) they first tried to give me a Honda Jazz with 2 front bald tyres and a chunk of the tyre wall missing which I refused due to safety concerns. They did give me a bigger car but the front tyers had cracks in the runner and were worn down to the indicator markers and they said they were happy with them. If it was my car I wouldn't be happy with the condition of them.

Cons: Less than 1/4 tank of food, couldn't contact ace when arrive as you need to call and had international phones, no drop off service outside of 9am-5pm. Extra £35 for this service. Should have gone with a company well known who are based at the airport.

Cons: he car fell far short of the Tucson we arranged to hire, the car was a Mitsubishi Outlander with 105000 miles on the clock and 1 blue door, the rest of the vehicle was white!

Cons: Started typing up the whole disappointing process of the rental, got cut off, after however many letters.......In a nutshell I WOULD NOT RENT A VEHICLE WITH ACE AT MANCHESTER AIRPORT AGAIN. Pay the extra and go with the big rental company.
Cons: The most unprofessional company we have ever experienced. Didn’t arrive to collect us, defaulted on the rental and left us stranded with 3 young children, hundreds of pounds out of pocket. DO NOT USE! Rude staff, we feel as if we have been scammed.

Cons: The staff want to deduct 50 pound from the deposit.for the cleaning of the car. Up to now I have still not yet received the balance 1450 pound of my deposit. Please help to check on this refund for me.

Cons: Empty tank, getting my shoes dirty in the carpark, the cleanliness and condition of the car, the waiver which we expected covered the full amount.
Pros: Good price. and pre-rental phone support also good. Dropoff at 0615 AM was charged extra (30) but the driver was on time and efficient.
Cons: pick up was very poor. no-one answered the phone for over 20mins. And they have still not returned my deposit - 3 days after returning the car. and NOTE the deposit was charged, not simply reserved, so I have to pay a big card bill before I get my credit amount. Prepare for this.

Cons: Awful, I was misled when I ordered the car & when I contacted the company on the day I hired the car the manager was not very helpful and did not return my calls even though he agreed the car was not fit for purpose or what I had ordered. unfortunately had an accident on last day-was left stranded with 4 children under 10 until 2am on Saturday morning. Accident at 10am. Not once did hire company check we were ok. More concerned to damage of car. Car came with 2 wheel bolts missing. Dangerous

Cons: Couldn't contact them on arrival. We were left in a very frustrated situation. Slow to get back into industrial yard when returning car back. Driver got lost bringing us from the car rental yard back to the airport.

A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
Maximum rental age is 74 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
UK customers must bring their DVLA check code along with their photo ID. This check code can be obtained from the DVLA website.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher, return flight ticket, International Driving Permit (IDP).
In order to pick up the car, domestic renters must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit or debit card on a main driver's name, Passport or ID card, proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill).
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
Cash, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
