Car a little old and minor bumps but was fine for us.

Pros: The mini bus was waiting for us at the airport. The pick up and return process was simple and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was no fuss, no hard sell insurance and the return process could not have been more straightforward so all good.

Cons: Nothing really but having completed the online registration it did seem to take longer to pick up the car than I expected while information was gathered that I thought I had already given online. This is only a very small point.

Pros: This was my first time using Autorent and I was really happy with the service and car provided. No pressure to take out their insurance and I received a brand new Seat Ibiza. 10/10 from me. Highly recommend and will use again in the future!

Pros: Car rental company Autorent offered an excellent vehicle - car was virtually brand new with 1K on the clock. On top of that a medium size car at a better cost than a mini from others. Staff were excellent.

Cons: Waited at Faro pick-up point for over 3/4 hr with two tired hot children (and wife) with no shade. A competitor to Autorent called their office to prompt pick-up.

Pros: Very polite staff, car was really lovely.

Pros: The shuttle from Faro airport is really prompt, driver is always friendly and the guys serving at the desk are really nice. The car we got this year was lovely and for an amazing price as well. The shuttle service to/from the airport takes 5 minutes so is no hassle at all, I didn’t think wait to collect/drop off the car either and the service is really quick, they don’t muck about!

I had accidentally strayed onto a toll road which I immediately left, they could have imposed a 25 euro charge but they checked on the Portuguese toll system which verified my story as the toll charge was actually 25 cents. They used common sense and took the 25 cent fee which I thought was proper customer service and fair on the circumstances.

Cons: Only downside was I struggled to contact them when my toll incident happened and had to revert to emails via the broker which was not very useful
