Pros: Very professional team resulting in trustworthy arrangement. Minibus pick up at airport very easy from car park 4. Only 3 min drive to office, same as other big companies but cheaper. Always quality cars with no drama.

Cons: No hassle or overselling of extra insurance. Pick up only took 5 mins and happy to walk round car together. Drop off again only 5 mins, very polite with no tension or scamming over scratches.

Cons: Deposit was very expensive and the fuel usage on the car was awful, we went less than 50 miles and the fuel cost us £48

Pros: Had a problem with the clutch and had to return the car the next day. Very helpful on the phone when reporting and efficiency of staff when collecting another car. This was service indeed. Will use again.

Pros: Car rental company Autorent offered an excellent vehicle - car was virtually brand new with 1K on the clock. On top of that a medium size car at a better cost than a mini from others. Staff were excellent.

Cons: Waited at Faro pick-up point for over 3/4 hr with two tired hot children (and wife) with no shade. A competitor to Autorent called their office to prompt pick-up.

Pros: Very polite staff, car was really lovely.

Cons: We had to wait quite a while on this occasion for our turn on the shuttle bus. (they were very apologetic about it)

Pros: everything was done in a orderly manner, very friendly team of people.

Pros: The shuttle from Faro airport is really prompt, driver is always friendly and the guys serving at the desk are really nice. The car we got this year was lovely and for an amazing price as well. The shuttle service to/from the airport takes 5 minutes so is no hassle at all, I didn’t think wait to collect/drop off the car either and the service is really quick, they don’t muck about!

Pros: Very good price compared to the global car rental companies. Larger car provided than requested. Professional and fast turnaround at the counter. Fast collection and drop off from the shuttle van. I researched for hours before going ahead with Auto rent as there are a lot of reviews for the smaller local rental companies.

Cons: Only downside is to go from terminal to car park 4 and then very short busride to picukup car. Its pretty quick overall and you do this for any car not on terminal.

Pros: The car was great value for money. I had accidentally strayed onto a toll road which I immediately left, they could have imposed a 25 euro charge but they checked on the Portuguese toll system which verified my story as the toll charge was actually 25 cents. They used common sense and took the 25 cent fee which I thought was proper customer service and fair on the circumstances.

Cons: Only downside was I struggled to contact them when my toll incident happened and had to revert to emails via the broker which was not very useful

Cons: No mention of the toll roads or extra toll charges at booking. We opted for no toll device at the desk so had slightly longer journeys, but other family members who had booked with a different company had the tolls included in overall fee which I think would have been preferable.

Pros: Service was excellent, was very fast even with the shuttle bus service. When we arrived the shuttle bus was full and we were told to wait 10 mins and it was no longer than that. When we arrived the car was ready and waiting and the service was really quick. We’ve booked with the on airport companies in the past and some of them are soooooooo slow to service you and get your car. I would absolutely book again

Pros: Very efficient pickup and drop, great value for money for a local car rental company, especially compared to the international brands like Hertz, Sixt. Got a very good & spacious automatic car for the pricing, would use them again when in Faro.

Cons: Location is a little away from the airpot but the shuttle service was excellent & very efficient.

Pros: Convenient location off airport. There wasn't a series of sums blocked against our credit. And - just the 1000 € xs. This was cancelled when we returned the car.
