Cons: When I booked a car online through Discover Cars, I selected full insurance. However, when I picked up the car from Sixt, the staff told me I needed to purchase insurance again; otherwise, I would be liable to pay up to $7,000 in case of an accident. As a result, I ended up paying for insurance twice.

Pros: The reps were very courteous and helpful but the late night pick up one was under a lot of pressure. The BYD was a lovely car to drive but it was a bit restricted north of Perth and if we hadn't had access to a domestic supply it would have been useless.

Cons: The pick up time was a problem due to our flight arrival time. The rep was under pressure because it was nearly midnight and she still had another customer to deal with. Another point is that I would advise people who are touring WA not to hire an electric vehicle.

Pros: The guy checking out was very helpful and changed cars when the original car supplied was not suitable I was very happy with the car and the pick up experience.

Cons: When I received my invoice I have been charged for an extra day. I thought the return time was 9.30 and return it exactly on time as I believed but had accidentally misread the form and it should have been 8.30am the return agent never mentioned this to me just charged for a full 24hours. I will never book with them again I realise I wad as fault but they could have given some leeway.

Pros: The last agent was helpful when we returned the car, he inspected it with us and assured us that everything was fine. It was also easy to locate the car park location.

Cons: It would have been best if an agent followed us to the car and demonstrate to us that they too have inspected the condition of the car and provide evidence to prove its initial condition. I was worried of additional surcharges and blame of damaged car areas when its not our fault upon returning the car. Having an agent mark the condition of the car with us will assure us that the company is aware of the initial car condition.

The worst is when we communicate with Discover Cars, was told my booking is considered no show and I have to go down to the airport SIXT to see weather they still have a car for me!
