Record go at Valencia Airport

Pros: the pickup was fairly straightforward, they were efficient and sent me the contract via email as well as a printed copy.

Cons: The rental was great value for money and the car was good and economical, the only real reservation I have, was upon return, the agent didn't check the car in my presence and only checked the petrol gauge. When i asked for proof everything was ok, they informed me they did not send a confirmation email, they did give me a printout to say the car was full of petrol, I now have to wait to ensure they don't try to add charges. I have videos of the car pre and post hire.

Pros: The car was good

Cons: Attitude of the staff. On car return she said it wasn't full of petrol. She told us, curtly, to go and fill it up. I said we were under alot of time pressure. She said they will charge us 24 euros plus the cost of fuel (which should be very little). We asked how much the fuel would be and she said she couldn't tell us. Extremely unhelpful

Cons: At drop off, the agent telling me off for not having the fuel ticket when they didn't say anything anywhere online, on paper, nor face to face about this. Not great really. It's all in the attitude.

Cons: Car had 42 k with lots of dings and wear and tear BUT they were very good when we returned the car with 48 k as I was unnecessarily concerned that they might come after me for compensation on same but they explained that they do not seek to charge for small dings etc...my suggestions for any car rental with any supplier is to make notes and take pictures of everything just in case for proof of damage prior to picking the vehicle up.

Cons: Pick up/drop off for shuttle bus is a bit of a walk from terminal. Shuttle bus drivers drive very fast causing passengers/luggage to slide around in the back. Hire car was filthy, clearly hadn't been washed for some time.

Cons: Fuel was not full when it supposed to be. Got surprise low fuel warning after 1.5h of driving. Paid extra 50 euro for missing fuel. None of the pre-existing damages are recorded. Putting all the burden of taking many photos and proving them on customer.

It was impossible to fit my belongings, and I had extra costs because of it. The woman at the office refused to change my car to one with a larger trunk. It was very unfair, and I cannot recommend Record Go to others.

Cons: My Polish card from PKO bank didn't work because of their terminal specifics. I also had Revolut card as second option but they doesn't accept Revolut at all and I don't remember that I saw this information somewhere during the booking. Due to card problem we spent there almost 4 hours until we found another solution.

Cons: I spent quite a bit of time explaining to them that I have full insurance from Discover Cars and I don't want theirs. The car had a lot of small damages and it took some time to inspect the car when it was picked up.

Pros: I liked that all the staff were very friendly. Made the whole process very easy. They talked me through everything and helped. Got a great car.

Cons: The car was quite damaged. They have a report for the damage that they know is on the car already and I found a lot more damage than they had said. Luckily I took lots of pictures as when I took the car back they were concerned about a nasty scratch on the door. I showed them the pictures I had taken and they were happy that it was already there.

Pros: Recorgo is the best rental company in Valencia. Perfwct price, great brand new cars and amazing staff.

Cons: Even though I paid extra to have a hybrid car, Toyota Corolla or similar, it wasn't. As we all know Toyota is really making hybrid cars. So, I thought that even if they don't have Toyota I would receive a Peugeot or something which is really Hybrid. I got a Jeep which they said that is hybrid but, by driving it I discovered that is was a mild hybrid which was not very helpful with the fuel economy. The car was quite dirty in and out.

Cons: They spent more time trying to shake us down to buy more insurance from them than they did looking at the un-recorded damage on the car. When we looked at the car, which Record Go assured us had no damage, we found scratches and marks which we know they would charge us for upon return. When we went back to to tell the agent about the damage, his response was to take a lot of photos to prove we did not do the damage. This is a scam company.

Cons: A dirty car was provided with numerous dents and scratches. The driver's side windshield was smeared with something permanent, limiting the driver's visibility and threatening road safety. In response to my complaint, the car was charged. The employee Mustafa made 3 significant mistakes in the contract: he incorrectly indicated the first and last name of the second driver and my email. As a result, the contract was sent to wrong email, thus allowing my personal data leak to a third party!!!

Cons: Very unfriendly agents, they tried to sell us their own insurance, when we refused they started being very rude, made us sign the contract while we were asking for a day extension, then said it’s impossible to extend a day since the contract is signed. Most surprising thing was when they tried to make us pay the whole deposit for a scratch when my friend returned her car. The scratch was just some dirt that went off by some cleaning. Be careful and attent when renting from this company.

Pros: The shuttle doesn't run all the time, so we couldn't take the car back after my flight and still get it there. We basically spent 3 times as much on our rental, the voucher from discover cars was useless, and the stuff we were told wasn't even correct. The office is small and crowded and not air conditioned. The cars were really nice. There was no flexibility "because we booked third party" but then they basically redid the whole thing and charged us a whole bunch of fees anyway.

Cons: Called record go 2 days prior the commencement of the rental agreement to confirm i was able to pay the excess deposit for both cars. I was advised yes. On arrival the agent refused to allow me to pay for both cars, and forced us to sign up for some insurance product instead that cost more than the vehicle for the rental period. They refused to liaise with their head office and were generally unhelpful. The car stank of cigarette smoke.

They told me to do things that at the end of the day I paid 200 euros for their mistakes and keep alone on the street without car and no booking reservation.I SPEND 800 EUROS FOR THEIR BAD INSTRUCTIONS plus a NIGHT in a hotel room, I was so worry and hopeless that day.
